Multiple members of your staff failed to respond to messages about setting up tours to the point where the property became unavailable. During the most recent incident when we asked a member of your staff why they never returned our messages they said "I don't know what to tell you " when it was him specifically who failed to respond to the messages sent by my husband. After moving out of the unit at 3951-3056 Howard Ave in Los Alamitos, I completed a walkthrough where I was told I would not be charged for cleaning. The apartment was completely emptied out -- it's a very small 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit with no garage after the property removed garages to build ADUs. Despite this, they are now attempting to withhold my security deposit with questionable charges such as "junk removal" and cleaning fees. It is now day 22, and I still have not received my deposit back or adequate communication. Multiple calls and emails have gone unanswered. On top of that, tenants had to deal with ongoing construction, parking issues, maintenance problems, and constant disruptions while living there. At this point, I am preparing to pursue the matter in small claims court due to what I believe is bad-faith withholding of my deposit. I recommend future renters document everything carefully and know their tenant rights before renting here.
