Ok so i had their poke bowl. I ordered the build your own. With i think was 11.99, which got you a base, unlimited toppings (sans "premium toppings"), and unlimited crunchies and all the sauces you want. Not gonna lie. Their scoop that they use to portion your actual poke out is horrendously small. I mean like the size of a newborn's hand if you asked a baby to give you a handful of raw fish, lol. I ordered an extra scoop (extra 3 dollars, ugh) and looked that server straight in the eye and said "make em big. I need you to be the best scooper in town today." Mah boy did not let me down. He was a young kid, maybe teenager? I will go back as long as that boy is serving my poke. I got rice as a base. I wish it was sushi rice, like a short grain, slightly chilled chewy rice dressed with a like salt and some vinegar? But their rice was fine. Warm, fresh, cooked right. You'd be surprised at how many poke places screw their rice up. (How does an establishment that serves Asian food screw their rice up? See: BENTOS for exhibit A). Toppings were fair, i got jalapeños, radishes, cucumber, carrot, edamame, corn, pickled ginger, tobiko, and i even paid the extra 75 cents for the seaweed salad. Their crunchies were nice, i got crunchy onions and garlic and the snacking seaweed ('twas a little stale. But those roasted seaweeds absorb moisture FAST so i can't be mad). I wish their poke was already marinated, they only had plain salmon, plain tuna. And spicy salmon (which was just spicy Mayo salmon by the looks of it) so i just got the two scoops of salmon (2 big little scoops, mind you) and sauced it with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and some wasabi aioli. Ended up paying $15 for it, which was not bad considering the size and flavor! I was decently full. Not just satisfied. I'm only coming back there if that kid is working again, otherwise they're ripping you off with that crazy small scoop. 4 stars for that server! read more

I have been to many restaurants with these type of food options (Gainesville and Orlando have a TON). Honestly they are some of my favorite and was really excited that finally Jacksonville is getting a place with poke bowls and Boba Tea!! I thought this would be right up my alley. I also had a similar experience. I ordered a salmon poke bowl and they gave me such a tiny amount of protein and SO much rice... I'm talking a small ice cream scoop that had maybe 5 small pieces... When I questioned them on the quantity (cause it was rather expensive) they denied me and said I needed to pay more for another scoop. I reluctantly did because I was SO hungry but was immediately turned off by the place and disappointed on how stingy they are on their portions I also asked for avocado as a topping in which to no surprise at this point they put a single slice... My experience at Natural Kitchen was really really awesome! The staff members helped me with my bowl and drink because it was my first time there. :) It's very modern and it's very healthy, option like veg chicken and tofu for vegans. Definitely recommend veg chicken made from fried tofu. The sauces were fantastic and they even have gluten free. Went in for the Hong Kong after seeing it all over Yelp, unfortunately it was unavailable because they don't have the machine for it. Pretty disappointing especially since I'm pregnant and was really craving it. Anyways we still ordered ice cream, we'll because we made the drive. When we received it my boyfriend and I couldn't believe we received ice cream in a RED CUP, I'm not sure if they were out of stock on containers but it did not look good, it looked like I came from a high school party. Restaurant definitely needs some upgrade, and to not advertise the Hong Kong in store through the artwork they have up, maybe take it off? if it's not available! First time in. Tuesday afternoon about 1230. A bit understaffed with two people at the front taking care of delivery and in-store orders but store wasn't crowded. Bowls are decently portioned for fresh ingredients. I would say medium portions. I got a rice bowl with tuna and some toppings. Not large portions so if you have a healthy appetite get two portions of the protein. Also had the honey green tea (no boba) Everything I had tasted good and the staff is nice. Ordered two Land & Sea bowls and they left out the shrimps on both of the orders. They only added the chicken. Each bowl was over $11 dollars. Make sure you watch when they're making your bowl. If not your bowl might be incomplete. Was expecting sea and land only got land. read more

Saw a poke place finally in my town so was excited to go in. Went in today with my wife on our lunch break, place was dead quiet. Girl at the counter didn't say hello, just cold vibes. Went up closer and said hello just to break the awkward silence. No response. My wife and I ignored the rude, unwelcoming attitude. Proceeded to look over the menu to see what we liked, what could we do, it was 96 degrees outside, we were hungry and we had to go back to work. I thought the rudeness was just a generational thing, young people, but still inexcusable. But it rly seemed like it was her problem not ours. Then an older white couple came in and she went directly to helping them and even greeted each. Well that wasn't a good sign. Like not even trying to hide it. Me and my wife are brown, but we didn't see a sign or anything that said they wouldn't serve us. So it really seemed we were the problem. Again, hungry, so we waited patiently, communicated what we wanted one by one, got two taro milk bubble teas and paid. Girl asked us if we wanted a bag for the two poke bowls. I said yes. She really made it obvious she didn't want to give me one but she did. Anyway, she mewled out a half-hearted thank you with her back to us, so I made sure to ask her name before I left. Girl's name is Lana/Laina. The other girl who served us wasn't as rude. If a manager ever reads this: when a customer comes to spend money at your establishment, try not to treat them like trash, or ghost them like this girl Laina/Lana did us. Your staff may need some diversity training. You should know that customers comes in all shapes, sizes and colors: you're an Asian establishment with Asian workers! My family and I have been to this restaurant about 3 or 4 times since they opened. It is very tasty, extremely fresh and large portions on the bowls. I can never finish mine and always take the rest home. We all get the sushi rice bowls with raw salmon and lots of toppings.
