Small mom-and-pop shop that serves delicious vegan/vegetarian food and fresh juices for take out. It also is a little convenience store for some limited vegan groceries. I have come here a few times over the years and I really appreciate the place. The owners are super cute and nice and the food is pretty yummy! My order is usually Mama's Sandwich (vegetarian patty, romaine lettuce, onion, cucumber and tomato with signature organic egg crepe in whole-wheat bread) and The Booster (wheatgrass juice, pineapple and cranberries). It seems like a simple enough sandwich, but I really like the vegetarian patty and how they make the egg crepe. One thing though... The bread can get soft when sitting in the plastic takeout box due to the steam of the freshly cooked egg. Aside from that, it's a great sandwich to pick up for an easy lunch. This restaurant deserves 10 stars!!! This place reminds me of authentic cuisine I've had when traveling abroad. Everything is extremely healthy, full of veggies, and tasty. The staff is so kind. Their little store is so unique and fun to walk around. They carry some products that I've never seen before and I can't wait to return. It's really nice to find a restaurant that tastes as healthy as home cooking when you're not in the mood to cook yourself. I really love that they serve multi grain rice with the meals. Came here for a quick lunch with my sister b/c we were running errands in the area and I've been wanting to try this place out. Its a cute little shop with a lot of healthy options. Definitely a peaceful environment. They have two tables or so to eat in. My sister and I both ordered the chicken teriyaki wrap made with veggie chicken.. I wish you could give 1/2 stars, because this rating would be 2.5 stars. My fiancé ordered the teriyaki wrap and I got the citrus chicken. Both of our wraps had a tiny amount of "meat". I have attached a picture of what is shown on their website and what I actually received. It's almost comical how much less "chicken" they actually give you. This is the second time I've received a skimpy wrap and I gave them another try to see if maybe it was just a bad day. Nope, they really just pack that wrap full of lettuce and a tiny taste of "chicken". The small amount you do get tastes really good though. I just think think it's crazy to spend over $7 on a lettuce filled wrap. We also ordered the veggie wonton soup. It was alright until I chomped down on a big ol' piece of ginger. There's noway I could give this place less than 5 stars! It's so very rare to find a place that puts a lot of love and time into their food and service, so when I find a gem like this, I can't wait to gush about it! Upon entering I had an instant good vibe, not to mention I was greeted by a really friendly guy. They have so many natural products all around the shop. I ended up buying Pangu salt for the bath, granola, trail mix and these AMAZING Cocoa Covered Almonds...wow, almost ate the entire container. Besides my take home purchases, I did order the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich for lunch. It was really delicious and tasted fresh and healthy. I can't wait to try the other menu items! This is my first vegan food store; I enjoyed my experience here (you can tell from the pics I uploaded). I love Chinese food and I'm all for eating healthy as long as it tastes food. But we all know food that's good for you rarely tastes good. The food and the snacks here were all delish, my fav was the candied nuts! The noodle dish (#19) was good but it was a too salty for my taste. The faux chicken was very nostalgic for me. My grandma owns a Buddhist temple so faux meat was readily available to me but my fam wouldn't let me eat too much/too often because I was still "growing" and it wasn't nutritious enough when I was younger. But eating it now just brought back so many childhood memories. I'm prbly one of the very few ppl that loves tofu, amongst my friends anyways since none of them is Asian or they are all Americanized. I will come back again because I do wanna eat more healthy. It doesn't hurt to get back to my Asian roots either! :) read more

On my quest for more delicious vegan food, I found this little gem on Broadway after a trip to the mall. It's right next to a nail salon on the corner and parking wasn't difficult. Growing up around vegetarians meant that there were many trips to health food stores throughout my childhood so this place felt like home to me. It doubles as a cafe and a health food store that provides juices, supplements, healthy snacks, gluten free products, etc. They've got a pretty decent food menu and the people working the counter were very nice. I decided to order a veggie lover wrap which comes on whole wheat and includes romaine lettuce, avocado, alfalfa sprouts, red pepper, onion, and tomato. Although I enjoyed the wrap, my only complaint is that it was a little dry at times so I wish it came with some kind of dressing but It definitely was still enjoyable. I took my food to go, but they have a little section in which you were able to sit and eat. Their prices were reasonable to me and on par with what I'd expect from a health food store/cafe. This cafe is a suitable alternative for days when I'm lazy and don't want to drive down Rt. 4. It has VERY limited seating (most of the cafe is a health foods store), but their vegetarian Chinese food is delicious. They also have sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and juices available for those not into vegetarian Chinese food. The owners were very friendly and the establishment is very casual. This little shop is awesome. At first glance it looks like a corner store but once you walk in you'll see the ordering counter. The shop is small but has a large variety of health goods. Also, find a small grocery section where customers can purchase teas, herbal extracts, oils, and other health essentials. Coconut water lovers take note - Natural Way Cafe has a great selection! I tried the goji tofu with mixed vegetables and brown rice. Though rather bland, the dish was very healthy and didn't pretend to be anything it wasn't. If you need a cleansing meal or just want to try something new, everything at Natural Way Cafe will help your body run smoothly. I'd been thinking about trying this place for ages and I'm glad I did - their food was really really good and seems insanely healthy. It is a very small place with hardly enough room to sit and eat (seats at most 6 people), but that's not what you come here for. In the vast sea of gastronomically unfriendly food that surrounds, Natural Way's food sits very well. Even the oiliest of dishes - their rice noodles - was a delight for the stomach. That doesn't mean that the food is not tasty. I personally do prefer spicier fare, but I think it comes with a price. Natural Way is the place you go not for its culinary delights necessarily (although I thought the food was really very good), but rather for its combination of health and tastefulness - for the tongue and beyond. The menu is diverse with something for most people - from salads to wraps to rice to noodles and in between. It is a little pricey but I think it's worth it. The grocery store sells some really amazing and some really yummy health food (try the insanely delicious chocolate covered almonds!!). Punchline - just go here and try it out. The only reason I'm taking a star away from this gem is because I wish they would improve their seating. There's not much that can be done with such a small space, but I would love for more people to be able to sit and enjoy the cultural and relaxing music, good food, and lovely owner and staff! This part grocery, specialty supplement, eatery, and juice bar, is far from lying when they advertise themselves as "vegetarian health food". Their whole menu is either vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or all three! The food comes in take out containers, but they will bring it over on a tray if you let them know that you are eating in. If you ever stop in, you HAVE to get the Shao Bing sandwich! The bread is part flaky and fluffy; I've never had anything like it. Over on the grocery aisle, the only thing I've ever bought were the organic cacao & goji bites. I had to try so hard not to eat them all at once!
