I really like this place. It is really healthy and delicious. It is pretty close to the train, like a 3-4 block walk from 4/5 train at borough hall. I got a sun dried tomato wrap which was chicken and tasty caesar salad on the inside, basically. I even got blue corn chips on the side. It was so filling. My fiancee got a soup and a smoothie and was also really satisfied. They have numerous options(most of them healthy, some not so much). You'll never get bored. I recommend eating half and saving the other half for later. I walked out, but I'm not sure how I made it. I came here when I was craving something nutritious and full of vitamins, and settled on the salmon wrap with mango salsa, but I went for the "wrap in a bowl" option so it came on a bed of brown rice instead of in a wrap. I like this idea in principle, dump all the contents on rice, but the problem is that there's iceberg lettuce in the wrap, and lettuce on warm rice is just odd. Nature's grill is exactly what I've been looking for in a restaurant and was never able to find. I'm usually looking for a meal that isn't deep fried, cooked in butter, or topped with cheesy or sugar sauces and that's surprisingly hard to find. Nature grill's menu is giant and has all day breakfast, sandwiches/panini's/wraps, salads, and regular entrees. Prices are very reasonable where most things are $6-9 except for the full entrees which are $9-15. As I mentioned earlier everything they sell is health conscious in some way. Low fat cheeses, grilled meats, egg whites, bison burgers, vegetables, and so on. One of my only issues with them is that they don't list the calories for anything, something that could really help me choose the right meal. I ordered the taste of China entree ($11) which I'm sure had a lot of calories if by no other reason but the sheer volume of food I got. The dish came with strips of steak and chicken marinated in low sodium teriyaki and served over broccoli and rice. It was pretty delicious. Now I'm a pretty picky eater and there aren't many vegetables that I enjoy but I still had a hard time choosing what to order here because there were just so many great options. I ordered delivery so I have no idea about the location itself. Nature's grill is the only place I've ever ordered from that charges for delivery but it's only $1 so it's not that bad. They told me it might take up to an hour which was surprising but they showed up in half that time. I'll definitely be ordering from them again (and again). UPDATE: I've gone to the actual location. It's got a real polished branding which is very uncommon for a restaurant with only two locations. Its set up is sort of the cross between a corner deli and a restaurant. If you're ordering to go then you can go up to the counter and order/pick up but if you want to eat there they won't let you order at the counter. They instructed me to have a seat and when no one was coming to take my order the girl at the counter just put my order in for me anyway. Table service continued to suck and ended with me getting up after my meal and paying at the counter instead of waiting for my waitress to make an appearance. Service and set up aside the food was still great and was presented quite well. The wrap was on the smaller side but was grilled and tasty and came with some healthy chips (something they don't give you if you order delivery). I'm still a fan. UPDATE #2: Went back for breakfast. Service still kinda sucks but the food was still good. I got the sweet potato pancakes with lean turkey bacon (which just looked and tasted like smokey ham) and 3 egg whites ($9). The pancakes were very good. There wasn't a huge sweet potato flavor to it but you could definitely taste the difference between that and a normal pancake. UPDATE #3: The pizza here is pretty gross so definitely skip that. The Thai chicken was just ok and came with bland dry rice and a sweet potato with no topping or seasoning to it whatsoever. But I'm still keeping them at 4 stars for the wraps, pancakes, and some of the other dishes as well as their approach to cooking in a more healthy way. read more

A good option when you want something "healthy". First came here after there was some kind of Groupon/LivingSocial deal and have been back a bunch of times since. The best items on the menu are the fresh juices. Tons of options of fruits and veggies and the price is pretty good compared to fancy juice shops. The rest of the menu items are all mediocre. I would say most of the things I had were all similar in taste... some combination of a grilled meat, chopped up veggies, and a starch. This place is for you if you want lots of protein and don't really care about flavor or originality. Portion sizes are pretty big but you don't really need to be eating THAT MUCH brown rice. Usually I end up getting a make-your-own salad which is hard to go wrong with (there are no other options for this in the neighborhood, am I right??). Service for me has not been as bad as others. Both the young guy with the big hair and the shorter older woman have always been pretty friendly and available when you need them. Note that their delivery via Seamless totally sucks. I've ordered a few times and half the time it has been the wrong order or food/drink has spilled out of their containers into the bag. Best bet is to eat in or take out. read more

I am not a breakfast person so I ordered the turkey burger and made it deluxe meaning it came with sweet potato fries and a pickle. My food was amazing. I work around the corner from Nature's Grill and have been curious about it (2 weeks ago?). The menu is the size of an appliance instruction manual and is full of words like "low-calorie" and "turkey bacon" (ick). I however got excited by the promise of "fresh juices" and "goat cheese," so I ventured in for lunch today. First off, I don't do "health food", I like to think that I eat tasty, whole, responsibly sourced food. I also eat whatever I want and not what someone tells me that I should in order to be healthy. I hate gimmicks. The space was large and I think that they have casual waiter service. The staff was friendly, eager to please (and impress, I think) but somewhat on-edge. There is a disconnect between where you order and the custom salad station. They need a list of ingredients by the cashier. My salad was just okay. I asked for mixed greens and got baby spinach (which wasn't horrible). I think that trying one from their extensive salad list would be a better idea for next time. My boss had the "Dice It" rice bowl and said that it was fresh (she raved about the grilled chicken) and tasty. It took a bit longer to prepare, so I'm really glad it was worth it. The complete highlight of this lunch was my juice. They have a long-ish list of juices to choose from, but also the option of choosing your own. I got a beet, lemon, ginger combo and it was AMAZING. It was tangy, earthy, spicy, and fresh-tasting. I was impressed by the number of beets that he used and by the size of the large (only $5). In the summer I would probably want it over ice. Seeing Nature's Grill was like a ray of sunshine among the many fast food spots in this area, so of course i had to go in. Nice place, very clean, very big menu (could be quite overwhelming if you're very hungry) I ordered the sesame chicken wrap and asked if it could be made cold rather than hot- she said no- when i got it back to my office, to my delight- it was cold. I have returned here about 4 more times, and being the creature of habit that i am, i ordered the same wrap each time, got the same girl, asked for it to be made cold (since it was cold the first time i got it) and each time i get an odd look, and an some silly utterance such as "i never heard that before" when actually she has heard it before, about 2 days prior when i came in and asked for the same exact thing. Anyway, i hope to break out of my routine and possibly try something else and hope it is as good as my usual. I have been here twice so far and ordered the veggie melt in the low carb-whole wheat-wrap both times. It's awesome. It's a super filling wrap, but doesn't leave me feeling sickly full or unhealthy. So I've been here a few times since my last review. Everytime I've been more than satisfied. Despite the slow cooking times (which are made known to customers) the food has continually been worth the wait. My last trip here I enjoyed the peanut Thai dish which is basically nice and plentiful cuts of grilled chicken, glazed in a nice Thai peanut sauce over brown rice. So yesterday my fiancé and I decided to get groceries at Trader Joe's but realized upon arrival that the line was crazy long and we were both starving! We were craving a good salad and stumbled upon yelp reviews for Nature's Grill- which luckily was a few storefronts down. The restaurant itself is super cute and modern- 2 booths on alternate sides of the entrance, many 2 seaters and a few tables for 4. There menu is Cheesecake Factory level HUGE- but with much healthier options! Additionally they sell organic wines and beer. If I'm not mistaken they had a gluten free beer as well. The salad section had many options. I decided on the Guadalajara salad with chicken (I subbed carrot/ginger dressing for the fat free choice they had paired with this salad) My fiancé chose the Greek salad. The portions were sufficient to fill me up and still have leftovers for today's lunch (woohoo!) I would definitely recommend going here for a healthy lunch or dinner. read more

We came to dine in and half way through our meal the waiter named Ulysses had placed the check on our table. We continued to eat our dinner. He was very nice and made sure I was absolutely satisfied with my food, even gave me a free rice pudding sample to try. It was good. Just the right amount of sweet but guilt free. For dinner I had an Asian salad and ginger dressing with the salmon. It was very good. Again, health conscious. Lastly, I'm having one of their fresh juices.
