One of the best Açaí bowls/smoothie you will ever have. the creamy cold and delicious flavors of strawberry blueberries and bananas make the food so much better. My friend took me here to try out acai bowls (my first time) & I am officially in love!! I got the tropical acai bowl for $7.25 & asked for no bananas since I'm not a fan of them, unfortunately. The guy at the front was super nice & told me I could substitute the bananas with something else, such as honey, agave, almonds, blueberries, etc.. I ended up replacing the bananas with extra strawberries. The acai was cold & smooth -- I felt like I was indulging in soft-serve ice cream! I did find a couple of chopped pineapple bits that didn't get blended up but it ain't a big deal. The tropical bowl was pretty sweet -- not sure if it's just the quality of their fruit or if they add honey/agave/another form of sweetener. It's a really small place with only three stools but it seemed like the majority of customers were getting their food to-go anyway. I like that the kitchen has glass dividers so you can see the workers slice up your fruit and blend them right in front of you! I stop by here usually when I have my gap during my school day at CSUF and I love coming. These have to be the most unenthusiastic unwelcoming group of people ever. I walked in and got the coldest vibes from these folks with the lowest sounding welcome that I ever heard. It was as if they didn't want to say anything to me. That kind of welcome made me feel unwelcome. Then the guy approached the register and never said anything like may I help you or anything. He just stared at me as if to say what do you want. So I told him that they were a bunch of unenthusiastic unwelcoming folks that I have met. They don't even pretend to make you feel welcome to the establishment. Then after I paid he asked me did I want a punch card. Absolutely not!!!! I will not be returning there so I don't need it. Wow! This place is incredible. I don't think i will ever go to Jamba Juice again. The service is stellar. Not a single employee was standing around chatting or moving sluggishly like you normally experience at Jamba Juice. Every single employee was hustling to crank out orders. The shop was well organized, neat, and clean. I loved all the build your own options: build your own acai bowl, build your own pitaya bowl, and build your own oatmeal. The options are very delicious. The fruit is incredibly fresh. I had a build your own acai bowl, which tasted like dessert! Next time I will skip the honey on top because it was already sweet enough. So refreshing and delicious!! My husband had a dragonfruit smoothie and loved it. He is very picky and normally only wants Jamba Juice, so it was huge for him to say how much better this was. nature's has been my favorite place to go for acai/pitaya bowls for a while, but this is the THIRD time I've found a hair (that definitely does not belong to me) inside my bowl. The other two times this has happened I alerted the staff and was refunded immediately + made a new bowl but this time I made a to go order and discovered the hair once I got home. They have a few bar stools that you can sit at. 2/5 SELECTION: They have your typical juice bar place stuff, like smoothies, juices, and acai bowls. 3/5 WHAT I GOT: I got their Original acai bowl without honey (bc why would you want to eat bee vomit?). It was okay. The acai blend was better than I thought. They use acai sorbet instead of the puree packets that most places use, and then blend that with liquid and other frozen fruits. So, it was very smooth, and the ratio of the ingredients was good -- I could taste the acai flavor well. As for the toppings, the granola was pretty standard, but good. I just wish there was a little more. And the banana was okay, but it could've been a little riper. And it was sliced too thinly, and looked like it was just thrown on top, instead of being placed on topped in a more aesthetic way. But overall, it was better than I thought. Like millions of other people - I was determined to start eating healthy and be more active in the new year. With that, it was less breakfast burritos in the morning and more smoothies, juices, and other healthy alternatives to curb my hunger pangs. I was on the prowl for an acai bowl while in Fullerton and this place came highly recommended via the Yelp app. Better yet, it was in the same shopping center where I already was, so I didn't have to go far. Located next to Cal State Fullerton, it's easy to miss as it's part of a strip mall that shares a parking lot with CVS. When you walk in, you're hit the face with a variety of sweet smells and the sound of blenders doing their thing. I was immediately greeted when I entered by the person behind the juice bar and the guy at the register. Before I had an opportunity to check things out, I was asked if I had been there and if I needed any suggestions. I did. I knew I wanted an acai bowl, but they had a good amount to choose from. Taking the cashier's lead, I settled on a Tropic Bowl for myself and a Nutty Bowl for Jaime. The Tropic Bowl was perfect as I was trying to load up on citrus to avoid that terrible cold that had been going around. This fit the bill made with pineapple, mangos, pineapple juice, coconut shavings, granola, bananas, and strawberries. Because everything is fresh and delivered daily, they didn't have their bananas yet - so I subbed blueberries. I really enjoyed this bowl. The granola gave it a nice crunch and the cold berry blend filled my stomach to hold me over until lunch. Jaime's Nutty Bowl was a peanut butter blend and he enjoyed it a lot, seeing he was the reason I was loading up on Vitamin C, I didn't get to try his - so I just took his word for it. Highly recommend this place! I've been coming here for a few months and I've always left satisfied. The employees here are extremely kind and are more than willing to help you if you are indecisive on what to get. For smoothies, my go-to is the classic Strawberry Banana smoothie. They also have great acai/pitaya bowls! I get the Vibrant Bowl, which has bee pollen (which is rich in protein!). The only downside of this place is that it is pretty small. I was more familiar with their Walnut location for the last few years, but never thought about this particular location until hubby mentioned it when we were in the area. So glad to know there's some sort of smoothie place near us! Prices aren't too bad for a smoothie joint. They also have juices, cleanses, acai bowls, and other quick snacks. For the most part, we've been sticking to the smoothies. Place has always been clean during our visits and the staff has always been great. Never any issues with any of our orders. Parking isn't too bad, even with Afters Ice Cream next door. I know trying to get into this particular strip mall can be a pain when school is in session, though. Plus, there's been construction going on for years on N. State College Blvd, so I can see it being more difficult to get in after construction. COCO ACAI: 3/5. I couldn't taste any coconut at all. The pineapple was way too overpowering and pretty much took over all the flavors in the smoothie. To be honest, couldn't taste the acai either. Not going to get this one again. FREE BOOST FOR YOUR SMOOTHIE! I always get protein or fiber one. I believe they use whey protein so the flavor of your smoothie might change a bit if you decide to get the boost. OVERALL: 5/5. This review is long overdue. I've been going to this spot since it first opened and my oh my, am I impressed. I was never a huge fan of Jamba Juice or those other juice spots, but i'm really glad this place caught my attention. I've tried a couple of their drinks, but my all time favorite has to be the Guava Goodness and then placing second would have to be the Passion Paradise. I love how with each smoothie blend, you can get one supplement boost. They have a stamp card which is great, and it works for both smoothies and acai bowls, but I believe the free item is a medium drink. The staff here is ALWAYS nice, friendly, and very helpful. The town where I live closed down the only decent smoothie place near me and replaced it with nektar. While that's good for the many bland-loving yoga moms that live in my hometown, nothing compares in flavor when it comes to Nature's Juice. Jamba Juice gets too icy sometimes that there isn't any flavor, Juice it up is questionable in terms of what goes in their juices (coloring?). At Nature's I can see the fresh fruit and juice going into my smoothie as the employee makes it and I'm assured that my drink comes out great. I have tried the Strawberry Banana, Colada Breeze, and Rasberry Rave and have enjoyed all of them. Rasberry rave is a bit too tart for me, so I just swap out the strawberries for raspberries on the original Strawberry Banana smoothie (at no extra charge mind you) and I get a raspberry version of a classic I love. I usually come here on my commutes to CSUF, and will probably stop by here and L&L whenever I get the chance because I miss their smoothies a lot. Like all smoothie places, this place is consistantly clean, and there never has been a time where I'm not greeted when I come through the front door, it only adds to the experience here.
