I would probably give a 4.5, but it was better than a 4! Anyway, I decided to try this place because they had a great deal on Groupon recently. It's in a very unassuming location in Burbank, and the parking lot is very small/not enough designated spots specifically for the NMS, but there was a good amount of free 2hr street parking right next to the buildings location. From the go, it was a very good experience, the masseur was very sweet & professional, she gave a very relaxing massage with great technique. Also, the table was one of the more comfortable ones I've ever experienced for a massage (the face mask part usually hurts due to wear or getting thinner, but the one they had was nice and plush so my face didn't hurt). The best part was in the end, they give you tea, almonds & cookies to munch on, which was perfect because I had forgotten to eat anything all day because I was too excited to get the massage! (Whoops!) I noticed they have a happy hour(10a-2p) special 60min massage/$40 which is a deal now that I know what they have to offer in experience....it is totally worth the money, so I will definitely be coming back in the future. read more

Nature's Moon Spa was Amazing! Everyone was super friendly. I took my girlfriend there for a nice relaxing massage treatment. The music, the smell, everything was just relaxing. I went here from a groupon deal and I have to agree with everyone else is saying. The staff is super sweet and attentive, the place is clean and comfortable. They do offer you tea and almonds after which is a nice touch. I had a deep tissue and thai combo massage and was in a lot of pain before the session. I feel so much better now! I highly recommend going here. Only downside is the parking in the lot is not plentiful but usually you can find something on a side street. read more

We were visiting from San Diego and saw their spa on Yelp. When we walked in without an appointment they said that they didn't have any availability so we left. We were in the parking lot trying to find another spa to go to when they came out to the car to tell us that they could take us after all. Nancy and Tam gave us excellent massages and the whole experience was so wonderful and very relaxing. Even provided us with hot tea and crackers afterwards- very nice touch! They serve you tea before AND after ( a nice touch!), the prices are very reasonable and the staff is outstanding! Parking is better on the street because the little parking lot is a bit too crowded. I want to take an apoit for my husband birthday I did an apoit for 90 min couple massage because I want to make my husband feel great on his birthday day ,but unfortunately this new business even they don't care to answer the phone !! I've been here twice. The first time was good. No complaints. The second time was horrible. I requested firm pressure because I always request firm pressure but it ended up being SHARP pressure, even after I asked her for light pressure. I asked her to concentrate on my back. She proceeded to run her elbow up and down my spine. She "massaged" the top of my pelvic bone. My bone. I don't know about anyone else but I don't get knots in my bones, I get them in my muscles. I'm 99% sure this lady did not have any training at all. I have nail marks on my legs (see pictures). I left with a crick in my neck I didn't have before and my back feeling bruised. I've had plenty of massages before from plenty of different places (some better than others) but this is the first time I've ever wanted a massage to end early. I was so upset by the time my hour was up. I had this massage yesterday and I'm still upset, I still have the nail marks on my legs, and my back is bruised. read more

I will be going back! Sessions starting before 2pm are only $40 an hour and they serve hot tea with biscuits and almonds afterward. There was a girl named Pam who could make a man melt like butter in the palm of her amazing hands! This woman is maybe 5' tall with the strength and finesse of an Olympic gymnast. Totally did not expect this level of skill! I am toast right now sitting at home writing this review. Pam could build a clientele and go solo if she wanted. As sweet a woman there is. If I were married, I would be very frustrated knowing a gal like Pam had all this skill...she every woman needs these skills. Nuff said! Obviously, highly recommended. The towels and hot stone were very hot so I didn't enjoy the massage as much as I did as before. I hope when they read this review they will consider listen to customer when they ask for medium firm only. Otherwise I love this place. I've been hesitating to write this review because I really wanted to like this place but as I sit here almost a full week after my massage, I still can't fully turn my neck without being in pain. I arrive a little early for my appointment and am shown to my room. I am told to undress and that the massage therapist will be there shortly. 15 min later ( a full 10 min after my scheduled appointment ) I am still waiting for the therapist. I get up, wrap the sheet, wait till I hear someone walk by and meekly say " hello?" Luckily someone heard and informed me that my therapist was running late. She apologized profusely and about 5 min later my therapist came in. She also apologized and I was all good, I understand how these things happen. It would have been nice to know before hand but not big deal. Anyways I'm really torn on the massage. I have knots and various sports injuries. I know that they require work but about 25 minutes into the massage and after I asked 3 times for it to be lighter she informs me that I am going to need to take an ibuprofen to help with the pain after the massage...... this is the weirdest thing I have ever heard during a massage. I was there to relax and help remove pain. I didnt come in needing ibuprofen, I would like to leave the same or hopefully better. To her credit she did all kinds of various work and I've been torn on going back or writing a review because some of it was really enjoyable. But it's been almost a week, 3 ibuprofen later and I have been suffering with the worst neck/shoulder pain since the massage. It's to the point where I can't turn my head fully while driving without it causing tingling and cramps all down my left arm. The pain also causes my neck to tighten up even more. I've spent the past three days icing and applying heat and it is finally improving but none of this was happening prior to the massage. The ladies there are really nice and I know she meant well but when someone asks you to go lighter, please do. Digging into my muscles with too much force has proven to be unsuccessful. I'd rather come back each week to gradually remove the knots instead of told to take ibuprofen and be in constant pain for a week after 1 massage. read more

I was very impressed with this location. I had an unexpected day off from work and decided I wanted to get a massage. I am new to the Burbank area and though I have had a few massages in Burbank before - I wasn't impressed. I chose this location mainly because of it's stellar reviews and because it offered a yelp deal that I thought was reasonable for an hour massage. The facility location was a bit off from what I expected. It's kind of tucked away, but not hard to find. When I walked in I was very impressed with how lovely the salon looked and how professional the women were. The room was beautiful and I really felt relaxed upon walking in. The massage was phenomenal - a bit deep tissue, some stretching, etc. I have a bad lower back and my massage therapist was very good at making sure to avoid any area that was painful. I walked out of there feeling relaxed and much better than I did when I walked in. I would recommend this spot for anyone wanting a massage. read more

I loved everything about this place! Affordable, relaxing, healing and extremely friendly. I woke up on a Saturday morning with a really sore neck. It made it hard to drive or even put my hair in a pony tail. By 4pm I was like I need to see if a massage will help this. She told me with that kind of thing it usually takes a few days to go away but she will do her best. Its now Sunday morning and I would say my neck is 95% better!! The spa was very dim lit and relaxing from the second you walk in. The rooms are private and they even have one room with a bar on the ceiling so they can walk on your back. After my relaxing Swedish massage she told me to relax and take my time and come out when I'm ready. When I came out she said to sit on the couch and she will bring me hot tea. Not only did she bring water and delicious hot tea but she also brought a plate of almonds and crackers, which I thought was a nice touch, and then said to me again "relax and take your time". I really enjoyed that I wasn't rushed out or rushed to pay like some places do. I will for sure be back soon! read more

This place was wonderful! We had a a great experience here! After having such a terrible experience at another spa we decided to find a new place and I'm so happy we found this place. We had our massages done by Pam and Mary. We had a Swedish+Thai massage with hot stones. Mary kept asking me if the pressure was ok, and she was great! The rooms are nice and a pretty good size compared to other places I've gone to. The parking lot is pretty small but other than that we really enjoyed our massages and we will be coming back again! Also, our appointment was at 6:30 and we arrived 15 minutes late and they were so understanding about it and didn't cut our massage short. The customer service provided here is excellent! I like buying massage deals on Amazon local, and I decided to purchase a one hour massage of choice for Nature's Moon Spa since the Yelp reviews were outstanding. Yelpers you were right! The place has a really nice ambience. My masseuse, Tan, was awesome! I didn't specify which massage I wanted so I got a combo of deep tissue, hot stone, thai and swedish. This massage was easily one of the best I've had, if not the best I've had. I would highly recommend this place. They serve you tea afterward, and I had some cinnamon crackers with almonds.
