Chili cheese fries
Sarah G.

Honestly, this was the best hot dog I've had in a long time. The cheddarwurst jalapeño hot dog was incredible, juicy, flavorful and easily the best thing I had there. The chili cheese fries were also great, the fries were perfectly cooked, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. The customer service was outstanding. The owner and Miguel Angel were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. Even though it was a busy day, our food came out quickly. Since it's located inside the Redlands Public Market, we all tried something different from various vendors, but the hot dog and chili cheese fries were hands-down the best thing we ate all day. We'll definitely be back!

First timer at this location and I felt like their pastrami fries. Now, imagine the pastrami is seasoned well, and then the fries are also seasoned well. The food was to salty that I lost sensation to my tounge. I never waste food but I couldn't get through eating this. I'd recommend always requesting no salt and putting it yourself.

Loaded Sausage Tots
Henry M.

I ordered the Loaded Sausage Fries at Nava Sausage, but swapped the fries for tots. Good call. The tots stayed crispy and worked really well with all the toppings. The sausage had great flavor and the whole thing was seriously filling. Definitely not something you walk away from still hungry. Only one person was working when I went, but he was keeping everything moving and making sure orders were coming out smoothly. Respect for handling the whole operation like that. Really tasty and worth it if you're in the mood for something super filling. I'd order this again.

What is it you need that makes your heart bleed? Smoked Hungarian Sausage w/ caramelized onions, peppers, & spicy mustard Combo

My first girlfriend (and still current best friend) took me out on our second date to a regional hot dog place where two dogs, fries, and a drink only set you back like $4.50 and I still consider it one of the best dates I've ever been on. She said that those early dates should be not be impressing someone, but getting to know them, getting to laugh with them, and, of course, getting some good grub with someone. Later on is for fancy expensive steak and lobster dinners where you have to get all gussied up and act all dignified. "On date two we're sucking down hot dogs, E." I've always considered hot dogs/sausages better than burgers. You can get more expressive and experimental with what kind of sausage or frank you're using, what toppings you're putting on, and especially what mustard or other sauces you're finishing it off with. Burgers when you go crazy with those sorts of things, loses its appeal. But a good sausage can stand up to such experimentation and become enriched by it. Nava Sausage knows how to do great sausage. They get it. That smoked Hungarian beast I had at dinner was impossibly good. It was like eating the purest perfection of what a sausage on bread should be. More importantly, I looked anything but dignified sucking it down. But I didn't care because I only wanted to take the next bite. My best friend would've been proud to see the spectacular mess of eating that was on display tonight. The service was good, a little slow if anything, but nothing I would complain about. And the Redlands Public Market is just a great food hall to chow down in regardless of which booth you go to. Nava is a great choice, but it's not the only one. But at the end of the day, it's the type of place you can just relax and enjoy the company you're with while eating the best comfort fast food around. In fact it's a perfect second date option.

Uncooked vegan sausage in restaurant display case
Tamara E.

Upon walking up to the restaurant counter, hubby and I were greeted by an employee. I was pleased by how clean the counter area looked. After looking at their menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this restaurant offered a vegan beyond sausage so I decided to order that topped with caramelized onions on a pretzel bun. Although I was excited to see that they ordered garlic fries and was told by the employee that I could get it without the Parmesan cheese on top, I was bummed when I learned that the fries are cooked in beef tallow. My vegan sausage was ready quickly and I was impressed by the variety of mustard available to too my sausage with including regular mustard, honey mustard, spicy mustard, and stone mustard. Biting into my vegan sausage, I was amazed by the combination of juiciness of the vegan sausage with the crispiness of the pretzel bun. While I appreciate the vegan sausage being on the menu and it was delicious, I'd suggest they also offer chips as a menu option for those who prefer to not eat fries.

Amazing customer service, prices are reasonable, wonderful tasty choices, absolutely delicious, loved the atmosphere and plenty of seating. Huge food hall!

Sausage sampler and loaded fries

Bae and I love Redlands Public Market and we finally tried Nava Sausage last weekend. I got the loaded fries with the chicken mango jalapeno sausage and he got the sausage sampler. Everything was so yummy! We were there late, like around 10pm, but they were still open and serving with a smile. I highly recommend this place!

OG sausage combo

Decent sausages at this food stand at the Redlands Public Market. I ordered the OG sausage with grilled onions and sauerkraut. It was decent, the sausage was meaty and had a nice snap to it. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor though. The large Belgian fries were also good too, but they were dry. I wish the fries were fresh. I also ordered a side of garlic aioli for an extra $.50 to dip my fries in and it was pretty good. Overall, the combo meal I had was okay. It is a bit pricey though for almost $20 for a sausage, fries, and drink. The lady serving was really nice though and served me with an inviting smile.

This food stand popped up for Oktoberfest in La Mesa last month and a lover of bratwurst and seeing how long line was to try this spot, I had to try it too. I got the jalapeño cheddar bratwurst. Each bratwurst is served on a pretzel bun. I usually hate sauerkraut but the cashier recommended I try theirs as he said it wasn't as harsh as flavor and he was right. I loved theirs and how well it complimented the sausage. Wish they were local!

@redlandspublicmarket is packed full of awesome eats. Today, I hit up @navasausageco for a gourmet cheddar jalepeno sausage. The cashier was extremely helpful in recommending what to get since it was my first time here. Toppings included grilled jalepenos, bacon bits, dill relish, mango habanero bacon jam, and yellow mustard. This puppy had the most incredible snap when I bit into it! All the flavors came together perfectly, and the bun was on point. Not too heavy, tasty, and didn't fall apart from the load it was carrying. Im so looking forward to trying the chicken mango habanero sausage next time!

Kristine J.

Quite expensive food yes. But the pretzel, jalapeno cheese sausage, and sauces were all delicious! The garlic aioli was yummy. I asked for the side of sauerkraut WITH bacon, but didn't receive that unfortunately. The pretzel was also delish...could've been a bit bigger I agree. But with the cheese sauce and mild mustard, so so good. Hope to try more foods from them!

Bratwurst
Anna H.

Felt the service was good, but the bratwurst was so salty and tough to eat/bite into. I couldn't even finish it. The price was a little high too (17.00 for a dog and drink), no sides or anything with it - I wanted to get the Bavarian pretzel but felt 14.00 for a pretzel was a little steep on top of the cost of a hot dog and drink. The ingredients looked fresh and so did the toppings, maybe I'll try another sausage and cross my fingers next time I'm around.

Sausage flight sampler
Emerick W.

Located in Redlands Public Market, we tried out the sausage flight sampler. All of the sausages were juicy and delicious. We had the chicken and mango habanero, the cheddar and jalapeno and the Texas Cajun. Even the bread on the plate was exceptional. Nothing better than a fresh, homemade sausage. Staff was friendly and the price wasn't too bad either at 24 dollars after tax. The market itself is very big and inviting with quite a selection to choose from. Next time we will for sure try something else from their case. Thank you.

The Wait & Pro-Tip: Because they seem to make things to order, it can take a bit of time. I waited about 20 minutes for an order of 8 spring rolls and two steamed meat buns. Pro-Tip: Definitely call ahead with your order if you're on a tight schedule! The Food: The Steamed Meat Buns are excellent and very traditional, filled with pork, Vietnamese sausage, and both quail and salted eggs. The spring rolls were also very fresh. Vibe & Value: The interior has a cool atmosphere with murals and a fish tank, though the wall clock is currently "stuck in time" (broken). Savings: They offer a 3% discount for cash payments, and they also accept EBT, which is a great service for the area. Overall, it's a great local gem for authentic Vietnamese food. Excellent choice. The mushroom appetizer is seasoned perfectly, with just a hint of spice on the backend. It is perfectly paired with focaccia bread to soak up the sauce. I had the month's special Lobster ravioli. The sauce was a great balance of tomato and creamy flavors, but a nitpick is that within the ravioli the cheese slightly overpowered the lobster. The wall of TVs above the bar unfortunately do break the ambiance to some extent, but they're easy to ignore. I have now added Madri to my short list of downtown Redlands go-to restaurants!
