Great haircuts at low prices. Other items in the store with no tax! Generally a good place to shop, but limited selection of items.

I needed PPE for a class in college and this place had everything. I'm a girl who didn't know what…read moreshe needed, but there was someone who helped me pick out a pair of boots, hard hat, goggles, gloves, and a safety vest which saved me so much time. It was at a fair price too. I bought a clear hard hat because I wanted to be unique and am frequently complimented on it.

When I asked a question about a size of a certain brand she said, "I don't know.. you see I don't wear them". It was in a tone that was very passive aggressive. I'm 50 years old, I've purchased multiple shoes from many stores and have asked same question, this is the first time I've encountered such response. When she got the size of the first brand, I mentioned I'd like to try another brand to compare, she seemed annoyed and took back the ones I got which I wanted to use to compare. I really needed the boots for work the next day, otherwise, I would've walked out because the NEGATIVE energy was very strong in her reactions: tone, body language. I am strongly suggesting to my brown friends, family, co-workers to avoid this store or just be prepared for same treatment. I've been in this country for 40 years, and I am a LEGAL citizen, I'm more shocked than surprised that at 50 years of age in 2024 someone at a business establishment can treat a customer who's looking for working boots like they're a nuisance.

We happened upon this little thrift and antique shop this weekend while exploring the quaint…read morestreets of historic downtown Arlington. At first glance, with its sidewalk clothing racks full of all things fun and vintage, it seemed to have potential. So we went inside. Now, I don't mind a semi crowded or even slightly disorganized thrift shop. After all, half the fun is in the hunt, right? But this place took cluttered to a new level. While some areas of the store were fairly organized, others were literally piled with junk. It became not so much a hunt for treasures as it was an effort to just get through the place without tripping over something. I found myself wondering just how long some of these piles had been around, and what sorts of creepy crawlies might be lurking within them. I did my best to wander through and try to find a treasure or two. But after a few minutes I started to feel pretty claustrophobic. When I realized I've watched episodes of Hoarding: Buried Alive that looked eerily similar to this shop, I quickly made my escape. All that being said, they did have some interesting looking finds. They just need either a bigger space or an intervention.

The person working there was complaining loudly about the owner not coming it to work. She continued to complain and seemed really upset and mad. When she got off the phone she snapped at my husband and myself when we asked her a question. We'll never go there again.
