This was a good visit. Staff I encountered was friendly. Was able to get some tragic tees I wanted and a pair of gym shorts. Discounted rack also had a Nike sweatshirt that was a good deal. The minus star is two minute conversation with the cashier for not wanting a Kohls credit card. No means no and I'm reading I'm far from the only one who's had to have this conversation with the staff. read more

The store is really really clean and well lit with plenty of space between clothing displays to move around. I've only been there a few times but recently was there for an Amazon return and it was a really easy fast simple process. They must have a really good manager there to stay on top of all the maintenance and cleaning and keeping the store so well displayed it's a rare thing in the retail industry. read more

I used to be a loyal Kohl's shopper. That all ended at the end of January. On January 21st I went to Kohl's in Marysville WA and purchased three Bliss lotions from clearance. This purchase was a total of $14.95. I had cash and intended to pay that way. I'm dead set against credit cards and especially store cards. The cashier was very pressuring to me regarding opening a store account. I told her I wasn't interested, that I was against cards. She persisted. She told me it was the best way to establish credit and I did told her I had okay credit and that I did not believe in credit cards, but in hindsight, it's obvious she had a quota to meet and wouldn't stop. She said that it was easy to keep this card up because once I got it I could just pay it off at the store. She promised me a big discount, and more discounts once I got my card. I gave in because I felt like I had to in order to buy my items. She was so persistent. Ironically my items were not even eligible for that discount. The card never came. Coupons never came. I never received any ads. Nothing for my birthday, at least as a rewards member I always got $5. I received rewards, ads, and coupons back when I was just a rewards member. I wish I had stayed just a rewards member. The only thing that came were bills. I read the first one, and I intended to pay as soon as I got the card. But it never came. And then in early April I suddenly lost my job of four years. I lost all my income. I almost lost my apartment and car. The card never came. I barely stayed afloat until I got another job. That's when the phone calls from Kohl's started. Even though they say they don't have my number. I never answered because I don't answer to numbers I don't know and that don't leave a message. I work odd mostly graveyard hours so it's hard to answer the phone when you are asleep. I know it was Kohls because I looked the numbers up. I would get multiple calls a day. I still never got a card. I regret going to Kohls on 1/21/18. I didn't know it would change my life. I never would've thought my credit would be destroyed when I tried purchasing Bliss Fat Girl Slim lotion on clearance. I have not shopped at Kohl's since. I wasn't a big customer but I was a consistent and loyal one. I've tried to dispute this, I've tried to reason with them -- they closed the account, but they want $226 dollars (the amount went up from $200 to $226 in less than an hour) -- this is a horrible company with even worse people working for them. I haven't shopped at Kohl's since. You've lost a customer and all my respect. read more

It seems that things haven't changed much at Kohl's since last year . If walking in and being greeted , eyeballed , walked past while waiting at a counter for 15 mins is any indication of how Kohl's will be serving us durring Christmas I'm just not going to go there . It's frustrating to have sales associates ready to jump on you with masks and sanitizer and busy stalking shelves but when it comes to the customer you are not important unless you are going through the register . read more

Great location. Very clean and easy to shop racks. Only taking a star off because they were out of stock of everything I wanted in my size. I did get a decent deal on a Nike golf polo however I think the kohl's cash system is a joke. You have a limited time to use it and it's usually within 2-3 weeks once you get it. read more

My 13 year old daughter saved up enough money to buy a purple pair of plaid pants (believe me, I know) so I took her in to get them. We live about 25 minutes from Kohl's so it's not somewhere we frequent often. While there, we picked up a few other items and then checked out. The line took awhile. It was 2:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. The gal working the registered was nice but seemed a bit scattered. We finally got checked out and left. We got home and my daughter unpacked her understated pants (ha!) and lo and behold, they still had there security tag on them. To top it off, so did other items in her bag. Nothing is wearable with those attached so, we once again set off on the 25 minute journey to Kohl's to get them removed. Now, this inconvenience probably isn't a huge deal to most people. However, I am disabled and on chemotherapy so the first trip into Kohl's just about did me in. A second trip was absolutely NOT on my agenda for the day. Upon my re-arrival, I told the male cashier what had happened and he immediately blamed it on "the new people." No apology, just casting blame. I asked if I could register a more formal complaint because at this point, I'm kind of mad. He told me that customer service was in the back corner of the store. I explained my predicament being disabled and he answered, "Yep. It's way in the corner." Okay, well I guess I was heading back to the corner of the store, disabled and in pain or not. I suppose I was hoping for a call to the back to have management come to me or something. Seems like a reasonable enough of a request from a customer with a genuine physical issue. I got to the customer service counter and asked if I could register a minor complaint. I really just wanted the store to know that one of their employees was forgetting security tags so that said employee could be re-trained so that it did not happen to anyone else. I told the customer service person what had happened and was answered, "Oh, wow." That's it. Again, no apology. At no point did anyone look at my receipt to see which cashier it was so they could be re-trained. No offer of any kind to off-set the extra hour in time and money in gas I had to use to get in to fix their mistake. Nothing but blame and an "Oh, wow." I know mistakes happen. I would have been happy with a sincere apology. If a store can't even give me that when they are in error, why on earth would I shop with them? I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere. And that's really too bad for Kohl's because my daughter really, really likes their store and finally has a disposable income. read more

I have been to this store a lot. Sometimes it is clean, sometimes it is a mess. All depends on the time of year and whatnot. Great selection and if you get their discounts and are a card holder, it makes some great deals. Never had an issue with customer service but they sure do push the new rewards card and the Kohl's charge account on you. read more

I came into this store after Christmas, I had bought my mom a gift card. Well it ended up after all the craziness of Christmas, it got lost. I still had the receipt . I went into the store and they had no idea what to do, but she didn't ask anyone either ‍. She gave me corporates number and a credit card number. I called corporate, they said they would replace it, no problem. I thought wow this costumer service is great. Well I was waiting a couple weeks and thought it was strange I never received anything. Well after about a month I get an e-mail saying that I would have to go into the store ‍. I e-mailed them back and have not heard anything back. Sure won't be going back! read more

I recently moved to the area and was very excited about having a Kohl's so close to where I live. I went to Kohl's for my birthday to get myself a little gift. I was followed around the store like a common criminal. I have never been treated like that at Kohl's where we used to live. The whole experience was humiliating and demeaning. If you are a minority, I recommend not shopping at the Kohl's in Marysville or Snohomish. Also the shoe department in Marysville was very messy and it seemed that a lot of the merchandise was out of stock. I would however like to say the cashier was very kind. read more

My daughter received a few pairs of "Jumping Beans" brand stretch pants for Christmas. They were the wrong size, so I thought I'd return them for store credit and maybe get some jeans instead. The parking lot was pretty packed on a Monday afternoon. When we walked into the store soft 90s music was playing. Most of the shoppers appeared to be middle-aged women picking through the abundant selection of clearance racks. I looked for the closest register and waited a good 10 minutes until it was my turn. The women working the register appeared tired from their shift. I took the first initiative to say "Hi", and explain that I like to make a return. The cashier, who seemingly spoke little English, replied "We no return here. You go Customer Service" (she pointed toward the back of the store). I understand a lot of stores have different ways of handling returns, but since it was right after the Christmas season, you'd think they have a sign or something referring all returns to the Customer Service dept. I was not thrilled, since I had already spent 10 minutes waiting patiently in line. Nevertheless, I thanked her and proceeded to turn toward the back of the store. As I turned away, she smiled and half-laughed "You go Customer Service. Ha, ha, big line". Great. The line at Customer Service wasn't too bad. I waited maybe 5 minutes. Upon explaining what the cashier in Misses had told me, the gentleman at the service desk said "Oh no, you can make a return anywhere in store." A woman working along side of him at customer service chimed in, "Yea, you just go to any of our wrap desks." They didn't seem at all concerned that a store employee was referring shoppers to customer service for all returns. So anyway, I got my store credit and went looking for girls jeans. The store was an absolute mess! Clothes were scattered all over the floor, falling off hangers, and nothing seemed to be in the right spot. Of the few decent items available, there seemed to be very limited sizing. I asked a young sales girl if they carried Osh-Kosh brand. She said "yes we do", and then walked away before I had a chance to have her show me where it was located. I still have my store credit, but have no intent in spending it anytime soon. I don't care to waste another minute in that store, and frankly, there is nothing of interest to purchase anyway. read more

I was in this store last night, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well-stocked. I must admit, I came to Yelp because I wanted to complain about their horrible call center customer service, but there is nowhere here to do that. So please do NOT let this reflect poorly on this store. Last night they couldn't look me up by my phone number so the gal at checkout gave me the number to call to update my phone. The woman who answered couldn't look me up no matter how much info I gave her. She finally sent me to a guy who was able to, but he had my phone number correct in the system already. I had also gotten a letter in the mail from Kohl's saying: "Your automatic bill payments made via account ending in ****were returned due to an invalid account number." Well, I had no account balance, and it turns out this was their glitch and means nothing basically, so wth? A waste of my time to call them on all fronts, and I have way better things to do with my time. Oh, and I got divorced 5 years ago but they still have my last name as HIS last name and even though that's supposedly been fixed in their system, I get tortured every time they mail something with that lovely reminder of past abuse. And finally, I've had to cancel my Kohl's card at least twice because they've messed up my bill and charged me late fees when their system was really to blame -- the last time, I typed in my bank account info and it didn't register one of the numbers, but I'm a super perfectionist so I know it wasn't me, plus they didn't even inform me that I was getting charged over and over. You guys need a serious overhaul of your phone customer service and system. But your stores are a delight. Such a stark contrast. Such a shame. read more

Awesome service, I called around the Everett area looking for a pair of jeans. I'm a bit on the big/tall size so only a few stores had the size I needed. I spoke with Gustavo on the phone, he looked in floor inventory and found nothing, then looked further in the computer and found 2 pairs, he went to another location in the store and pulled both for me to try on, and held them for me for a late pick up. When I arrived at the store at about 9:30 PM he had jeans waiting for me, and helped me with other questions so I could look around at additional options. I purchased 1 of the 2 pairs (color preference). Thank you for making this late day shopping experience a success!!! read more

Went in today, no greeter no employee's ANYWHERE 2 at registers and 1 at customer service. I grabbed a few baby items and the sign said an extra 25% off on top of the Clarence prices.. Great deal, 20 minutes of standing inline about to pass out, the cashier did not listen to anything I said and kept asking to see my kohls card. UMM I said I didn't have one, that pretty much says there is no kohls card to see. I ask about my extra 25% off per the sign on the Clarence. She tells me she isn't sure if she can approve the discount and calls for a manager... NOBODY comes 15 minutes later she goes "look you're already getting a deal, you don't need the 25% off.." after repeatedly sighing like I was the biggest pain in the ass. Excuse me lady, I work in CS too and have my fair share of rude customers but guess what? I SMILE and help them and don't treat them rude.. I told her to clear my purchase and I'll try another cashier, she does it and I go to CS in the back and the gal was just as rude but honored the discount. IF YOU CAN'T DO YOUR JOB and treat customers right GET the heck out of retail! read more

I sent my store experience to the Kohl's customer service link on their website. I got an immediate (within 1/2 a day AND on a Saturday!) response from someone who said my email was passed onto the store in question and would be dealt with. Yeah, how many times to you hear that and then you never hear anything more?! However, the next day I received a personal email from the store manager addressing my concerns and saying she would deal with that person. She also offered me a Kohl's gift card for my trouble.
