Got a bowl from naya for lunch and it was great! Chicken feed schwarma, garlic dip, humus and tahini you can't go wrong. Feels lighter and healthier than chipotle too. 10/10 would reccomend

One of the few NAYA locations that is open for business over the weekend! I have been loving their healthy and hearty bowls that come with fresh ingredients and unlimited toppings. One of my to go delivery places! Their delivery service is normally fast and food is packaged very well and clean.

stopped by the unapologetic cava dupe and enjoyed it more than my cava experiences so dare I say the cava upgrade?! - I like this spot more than cava because even when I order a greens heavy bowl, I taste more than water! this had so much flavor from every ingredient added - shoutout to multiple pickled options. loveeee that. and each topping is given in the same size so im not getting a pinch of pickled turnip and a scoop of romaine, all equivalent!! - the baba ghanoush was delectable, smooth and cooling but with the burnt aftertaste that the eggplant is known for. I also loved the cucumber yogurt which is literally a tzatziki because that alone saturated my salad making no bites plain or boring. - I got the chicken kebab which was not the most flavorful looking option (others were marinated more) but it was cooked well and not dry like fast casual meat tends to be. i wish the portions was bigger like a chipotle scoop, i think bc it's big chunks the one scoop seemed done to the server - I used the app for the first time so got $3 off my purchase which was amazing. fast casual concept with lots of seating and a clean environment. wish they had fountain drinks

Ordered: Chicken Shish Taouk Bowl (~$13): Hummus, Fresh Cucumbers, Toum Garlic whip, Green & Red Cabbage, Baba Ghannouj, Cucumber & Yogurt, Tomatoes, Red Onion & Parsley Sumac Mix, Spicy Green Sauce, with vermicelli rice Aya's take: NAYA is a fast casual spot serving custom Lebanese bowls, rolls, and salads. Being Lebanese myself, it's great to see a place like this. This location gets super busy during the lunch rush so order ahead! The bowl was very filling and generally healthy. The chicken shish taouk flavors were spot on but was a bit dry which the other toppings and sauces made up for. This is one of the first times I've seen authentic Lebanese rice aka the vermicelli rice at a fast casual place like this. It was fluffy and had good flavor. For me personally, it was a good try but nothing stood out to me. If we're talking flavor, I think Cava is a bit better but you won't be disappointed at NAYA either!

Delicious experience would definitely go again. I had the chicken shawarma on 2 types of salad greens with about 6 toppings. The food was very fresh despite being late at night and the premises were clean.

Chipotle with Mediterranean food in New York City, but with only two indoor tables. Came here 3pm on a weekday and no line to get food. Pick your protein wrap or bowl: chicken shawarma, chicken shish Taouk, beef shawarma, Kafta lamb kebab, cauliflower, or falafel. I get the $12.40 chicken shawarma bowl with Feekah, a type of couscous. You can also get the bowl with white rice or lettuce. For toppings I get the yogurt/cucumber, chopped romaine, tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, red onion and parsley, green cabbage, Kalamata olives. I skip the following toppings: hummus, Toum garlic whip, Baba Ghannouj, feta cheese, Jalepeno peppers, pickled Lebanese cucumbers, pickled turnips, spicy green sauce, spicy red sauce, and lemon Tahini. They add pita bread in a plastic wrap afterwards. Food is served is immediately on the take out styro foam box, with a fair amount of delicious chicken. Only two indoor tables, one a communal 8 person table, and the other a 3 person table, occupied by a solitary male nursing a coke surfing the web on his phone next to the front door . The communal table has 3 people already on one end. One small two person outdoor table. Wife and I sit opposite each other sharing the one dish, when the 3 people leave, and soon are joined by 2 other strangers sitting down next to us. At least they don't have body odor. The lack of indoor seating is a severe disadvantage in rainy weather, especially with the record 11 inches of rain this last September. No dry place to sit outside without getting a wet bottom on your pants. There are other restaurants with comparable priced weekday luncheon specials with far more indoor seating. If you come here at lunch or dinner, don't expect a seat. Not a place for a hot date, as zero ambiance.

Another day, another NAYA visit! Was walking to see a client and saw NAYA so of course that became my lunch spot after my meeting. As always, the staff was super warm and easy to order from. Portions were great as I got half chicken and half steak with my bowl. Toppings galore per usual. Love me their pickles and onion. I could eat a whole bowl of it by itself.

The mediterranean Chipotle - good price, great food, wonderful mix! If you're around the area and craving a quick bowl you must try this!

Generous, fresh and filling options - can extend to 2 meals if you can exercise restraint. I usually can't. I like the salad w the roasted cauliflower - delicious vegetarian option when falafel is too much. The boy likes the chicken shawarma. Get allllll the toppings and dressings. I always do labneh and pita too - both are so fresh!

Move over Chipotle and Cava - if NAYA was available in Texas, they would have all of my money and attention. I am typically the type of person who would order from a street cart, but it was too cold outside. I saw this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The food was fresh and filling! I walked here after visiting the MoMA. The price point is great for the amount of food you get. Everyone who walked in was ordering their "regular" order. It seemed like they had a lot of people come in who stop there everyday to get something. I had analysis paralysis, but luckily a NAYA evangelist was educating everyone in line about what she usually gets, so I went ahead and just got that. It was a NAYA bowl with the chicken shawarma and I got a can of sparkling water. I don't know how else to write this - it was great. Not greasy, not dry, just delicious. The only con was the lack of seating inside. Come to TX please NAYA.

It was a little hard to hear and converse at times as it gets crowded, but the food was delicious and there are really unique items on the menu. Food: The duck shawarma was one of our favorites! The lamb and scallops were also flavorful and tender. The dips were delicious with the pita, but I wish the serving size for the dips were bigger. The fries were great - well seasoned! Also recommend the milky pudding, it was a nice refreshing way to end the dinner. Service: Our server was super helpful in letting us know what items are more shareable and his suggestions for cocktails. Definitely try some of the arak based cocktails. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

The seating area is fairly small, which surprised me. We ordered the crispy garlic rice, the Piri Piri chicken sandwich, and the famous knefeh and chicken pancake. The server was so nice, she offered us a sample of the seasonal lemonade, which had rose water and turmeric. It did take a little bit of time for all the food to come out. We chit-chatted while we shared the garlic rice (a little crunchy, very mild) and the chicken sandwich. The PiriPiri sandwich came with a huge piece of fried chicken that was spiced and fried well. The chicken was juicy and not super dry. The little bit of pickled cabbage helped keep things from becoming too greasy. After a bit of wait, the pancake was served. It was such a fun experience with the crunchy kadayif noodles and the cheese hidden underneath a super fluffy pancake. The salty and cheesy flavors of the pancake went well with the rose maple syrup. The spice from the chicken added another note to the dish that made it such a great combo of flavor. I could not stop picking at this huge pancake. It's definitely meant to be eaten by at least two, if not three. If we had known, we probably wouldn't have ordered the other chicken sandwich. Overall the contrast in the chicken and knafeh pancake alone was enough to want me to visit again. The textural crunch, the melted pull of the cheese, the sweet syrup against salty and spicy flavors of the chicken. Not only was the whole presentation beautiful, but the dish itself tasted amazing. I would visit Hen House again for the experience.

The fig hummus is something special. Smooth, perfectly balanced with tahini, and unlike anything I've had before. My brother called it the best hummus he's ever had, and honestly I licked the plate clean! The falafel plate deserves its own moment. Warm, crispy on the outside, perfectly moist on the inside, and just the right amount of richness. Paired with the sauce, fresh salad, and rice, it was easily one of the most memorable meals I've had this year. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully put together. Truly some of the best falafel I've ever had. What really took the experience to another level was the service. After we paid, our waitress noticed I had blisters from breaking in new shoes and brought me two bandaids without me even asking. That kind of attention to detail is rare, if I could give 6 stars I would! They are also incredibly accommodating with dietary needs. When the waitress heard my brother was gluten free, she immediately brought out a new plate with double salad instead of rice. Fattoush goes above and beyond in every way. The space inside this one is a bit nicer, with there also being more room, but the lighting is much darker, so the photos came out pretty poorly. The seating arrangement was a bit cramped, but we made do. As with their other location, the mezze are much better than the grilled platters, with the meats being overcooked and dry, so I would stick with their hot or cold appetizers. On an unrelated note, I do find it a bit odd/humorous that the menu goes back and forth between the Arabic and French spelling for their namesake salad, being either fattoush or fattouch. We started with the Mixed Appetizer Plate, a selection of hummus, kebbeh, fattouch, warak enab, falafel, and msakaa for $38.50. The warak eneb, or grape leaves, were particularly tasty, with the msakaa, or moussaka, being good as well. The namesake fattoush was good from all the pita, though maybe a bit too overdressed for my liking, as it was a tad sour. The kebbeh/kibbeh were decent, and the hummus was OK. It was a perfectly good mixed plate and plenty large for the price, with this especially being the case in the East Village. Along with the mixed appetizer plate, we got a few other mezze, which were either of better quality or similar to the warak/msakaa. Best was their take on Muhammara for $16, a dip made from roasted red peppers, walnuts, garlic, pomegranate molasses, and lemon. It was nice and thick and well-spiced with a good amount of red pepper and just enough sweet and sour flavor from the molasses. I would recommend it heavily. Also very tasty and cheaper was the $10.50 Moutabal, or fresh eggplant grilled over charcoal, lightly mashed with tahini and freshly squeezed lemon juice, and topped with EVOO. This was delicious, with it being thick and smoky. Alright, the Tabbouleh, a mix of parsley, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, and olive oil, was for $14.50. It was fine, though a bit lightly flavored even compared to other spots. If you are going to get a salad, stick with their namesake fattoush. We otherwise got the Family Mixed Grill, consisting of two shish tawouk, two lamb kabobs, two kofta, two lamb chops, shawarma, fattoush, and rice for $139.50. As mentioned, and similar to the one around the corner, the meat was overcooked and dry and lacking spice. The lamb kabobs were chewy, the shish tawouk was dry, and the kofta was both burnt on the outside and dry in the middle. The lamb chops were overcooked as well, but probably had the best flavor. The only saving grace was the shawarma, which was slightly dry but at least had some decent enough flavor, making it by far the best by being just average. This was terrible overall and not remotely worth it. It's hard to rate this spot. I certainly preferred it over my previous meal around the corner, but the meats are still pretty terrible. The fact that they charge $140 for that is a joke, even with the portion size. Stick with their mezze/appetizers to have a good time, and if you have to get meat, the shawarma is decent. I prefer the nearby Zesty, but this is still decent. Upper 2/Low 3.
