The Burrata & New Yorker with Hot Honey. 10/10. Best pizza I ever had.
    Tavance C.

I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, so understand I do NOT say this lightly: this might be the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I got the Burrata and the New Yorker with hot honey, and both were ridiculous. The crust had the perfect crisp and chew, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything just worked. That burrata especially? There's no real seating, just standing counter space, but honestly, I didn't care. I would've eaten this pizza standing in the middle of the street. And the line was down the block, I waited in line outside for an hour. ‍ I've had a LOT of pizza and L'Industrie officially sits at the top of my list. 10/10. No notes. Palate don't lie.

Wow I was not expecting the line out the door before they opened! I heard plenty of good reviews about this spot on social media and was so excited to taste it for myself. There are very few tables available inside but they also offer a lot of stand-up tables to enjoy your pizza. Ordering goes by so fast but it's the waiting for your slice that takes the longest (probably from anticipation). Food: Fig jam and bacon (8/10): This one was SO good!!! I love the sweetness of the fig jam that was added on top. The bacon wasn't as prominent throughout the slice but I'm biased cause I love white sauce and still ate this up. Burrata (5/10): I thought this one lacked flavor. The buratta "exploded" when I bit into the slice and leaked down towards the plate. There wasn't a lot of depth in flavor for this slice.

Great pizza, may be slightly over hyped in my opinion. Had the burrata slice and a regular slice which were both excellent however I don't necessarily think best slice ever! In a city with so many slice shops, this is a great one, not the best of the best but great!

Definitely the best pizza I've ever had! Lines are long for a reason, but well worth the wait. I would recommending coming before 6 pm for a shorter wait (as the line significantly increases at 6 pm, even on a random week day). I highly recommend eating the pizza on the spot, and not doing takeout (changes the taste). My favorite flavor is the L'Industrie slice, which is a prosciutto and burrata pizza. I've already come back 2x in the same week; it's just that good!

We stopped by right at noon and didn't have to wait too long before we got some heavenly slices. My favorite was the prosciutto and burrata. The burrata was just the right amount of cream without overwhelming the slice. I also thought the salami slice was pretty great too. The fig one was quite good. I could pass on the mushroom one but that's likely because I prefer a red sauce slice to a white one. In any event, excellent slices and obviously worthy of a visit for sure.

They have menus for you to look at while waiting in line. It took about 20 mins on line, and about 10 mins for the pizza to be ready on a Saturday afternoon. There is a decent amount of standing counters inside. People generally eat quickly and go. There is also Talea Beer next door to grab a beer and eat your pizza at their tables. Unfortunately, I don't understand the hype about this spot. The undercarriage was really thin, but not crisp at all. The crust itself was actually crip, thin and airy, so I feel like the undercarriage could have been much better. Burrata: the burrata didn't add much. It was mostly a tomato slice with a hint of cheesiness and basil. Can definitely skip this slice. Fig Jam & Bacon: Nice balance of sweet fig and salty bacon. Maybe it was an off day, but the slices just disappointed me. With so many other pizza spots nearby, they have to step up their game.

Best pizza slices in the city! I love how thin and crispy their crust is. Each pizza is made fresh and slices come out pipping hot. Lines do get long but they move fast and are very efficient. For 3 slices, total was about $26. I love ordering their Tartufo because I'm a big fan of mushrooms on a white sauce pizza. The truffle oil drizzle pairs well on the slice. The New Yorker has a mix of both pepperoni & sausage which is nice if you're more of a meat lover. The bacon fig jam is amazing too and the hint of sweetness with the saltiness of the bacon is yum.

Made it at 9:55 right before they closed (delayed flight) and they were nice enough to get my order. Got their most popular fig jam and bacon pizza. Amazing crust and overall texture. Pizza flavors were really nice too, I think next time I'll put on some crushed pepper for a bit of a kick, but overall, amazing for a NY style pizza experience! Theres a bar for people to enjoy their pizza at. Since they were closing I didn't want to eat inside and ended up eating on the steps of the building next door.

Waited in line to try what they says is one of the best slices in NYC. The line wasn't very long and we were moved along to order quicker than expected. The staff working were very chill and shared details of their favorites with us, as we weren't sure what to order. I got two slices. The margherita and the l'industrie with burrata on it. They were so good, crispy thin pizza packed with flavor Absolutely worth the hype.

I mean, are you kidding me? Life changing. The price is so reasonable for what you get, the slices are perfectly cooked with a thin but crunchy and substantial undercarriage on the crust. Their fig jam and bacon pie is super interesting and unique!! The creamy ricotta dollops with the sweet fig jam and savory bacon made for a super balanced experience that was so special :) Overall though, the L'Industrie Pie is my GOAT, hands down absolutely no contest. They LAYER the prosciutto on and it is SO SO good. The saltiness with the chewy + fatty texture contribution makes the slice sooooo delicious. AND THEN ONTOP OF THAT THE CREAMY BURRATA IS SO COLD AND REFRESHING TO BALANCE OUT THE SALTINESS OF THE PROSCIUTTO. Absolute. Masterclass.

    Charlee C.

Came here to get a slice, overall good experience. There was a line but it went fast and we only had to wait about 10 minutes after we ordered. They have a lot of areas to stand and eat your pizza in the restaurant but it does get a bit hot especially in the summer when there is a lot of people. For NYC I would say prices were fair. My friends and I all got different slices from the menu and enjoyed them all! I would come here again :)

    Michael Q.

On everybody's NY pizza list. Line was out the door. However, from when we arrived to our first bite was less than 20 minutes. The New Yorker has ricotta dollops (as a nice finisher) and man did we love it...twice. Yes, it's crowded and young people are clamoring for that perfect NY slice. However, after your name is called, you grab your tray, make your way to (you hope) a standing table with a little elbow room, and enjoy the experience. Yes, L'Industrie has the crispy "fold" down and we always enjoy stopping by for a quick slice (or 3) on our way to our next stop.

    Stephanie L.

In love! What a great classic New York slice, loved the addition of the burrata. Would eat this again and again!

I found the sauce too sweet for my liking, which almost reminded me of the rather terrible Little Italy chain. There was plenty of cheese, and it had a good pull, even if it looked a bit overcooked on top. I'm presuming the average ratings here and on other sites are because of their location and the fact that a lot of tourists who go here can't tell the difference between Joe's and a dollar slice. Perfectly decent slice on the level, if not worse than many slices in the city, as I disliked the sauce, while the rest was fine.

Definitely not your average pizza joint. This place is popular -- there were plenty of people eating -- but surprisingly, our wait wasn't long at all. And even with all the bodies in there, it never felt crammed or uncomfortable. We ordered a small pizza and did half Shrimp Fra Diavolo and half Margherita. The Fra Diavolo had a little kick, but nothing crazy -- and this is coming from someone who cannot handle big spice The Margherita had just the right amount of basil and mozzarella, and that crispy crust was exactly what I wanted. Although there was no major cheese pull, it was still perfect. The small was plenty for the two of us and honestly just perfect. We also had a couple cocktails, which were delicious too. I always say NYC food pricing is kind of deceiving. You look at the price and go, "Ummm..." but then the food comes out and you realize they give you A LOT. Definitely felt like we got our money's worth here. Great pizza, really cool atmosphere, and a fun first NYC pizza experience for the husband. Happy Eating, Chass

Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble.
