Quick service and fair pricing. Staff were all very nice. The food itself was middle of the road. The meat was cold by the time I opened up the foil wrapping 3 minutes later. Wish they would put some seasoning into the sandwich, as it felt relatively bland. Sauces were decent but you could tell they were watered down. Overall, just a decent spot for gyro.

This is my second time coming to Turco and it continues to be a solid choice for Mediterranean wraps! They make their own bread in house and fresh, so it's always hot, fluffy, and delicious! I got the falafel wrap which comes with a bunch of toppings, hummus, and you can get it spicy. The falafel is so moist and delicious - one of the best I've had in a long time. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and are even better when you add pepper. Similarly, the mix gyro wrap is super solid and perfectly cooked! They give you a white sauce and a spicy sauce and both are flavorful and add a nice touch to the sandwiches. It tends to be a quick, relaxed eat, so perfect for a casual lunch. I think it's a mom and pop shop, so the service feels super homey and friendly. Overall, I will definitely continue to come here for a solid sandwich and service every time!

This place was a very hole in the wall area, and a hidden gem for sure. As soon as we walked in, the owners were so nice! The sandwich was such a steal. At 11 bucks, this sandwich was definitely filling and full of flavor. It came with 2 different sauces that my friends and I just kept dousing the sandwich in over and over. I would highly recommend trying any of the sandwhiches. I got the chicken Adana and it did not disappoint. It was great on its own and even better with the sauces. I will definitely be coming back during lunch.

For NYC, this place is affordable and serves generous portions. And it's more casual than sit-down formal. I went here twice while visiting the city and both times I was impressed with the quality and timeliness. I think some extra flavor would be helpful, but still a solid choice!

Really delicious, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I ordered the Lamb Shish Plate and it came hot and ready. The bread is divine.

One of my favorite Mediterranean places. Right in Hell's Kitchen so my go to place when seeing a show or just in Times Square. The homemade bread they serve is outrageous and one of my favorite breads I've ever had. The chicken is super flavorful and with their white sauce and red sauce it's a perfect meal. Got the lamb for the first time and it was tough. I will stick with the chicken next time. It is also quick so you can eat in 30 minutes and get out of there. Check this place out if in the area.

Fantastic flavors! The lamb chops were tender and seasoned perfectly. An all around great stop for a wonderful meal, with great and friendly service. This place is a keeper!

I would say amazing food and great service. It's a causal dining place with awesome and delicious food. Hummus is fresh and pita bread are freshly made. Warm and fluffy. Don't forget to have their yogurt which is amazing. I prefer original but my friend said with mango is also good. I would definitely go there again.

No, there is only indoor seating. It's a narrow building with maybe 10-15 tables towards the back (past the service counter and cash register).

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting and beautifully curated, with a lively energy that made the entire experience feel distinctly New York. The food was wonderful. The cheese board was an absolute standout, beautifully presented with a thoughtful selection of cheeses and accompaniments that balanced savory and sweet flavors perfectly. The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences throughout the meal felt fresh, authentic, and elevated. The hummus, tahini, olives, Turkish specialties, and beautifully arranged spreads were all delicious and clearly prepared with care. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we could simply enjoy the food and the company. I had the Turkish delight meat dish and that was super. My husband had the beyti and it was the best I've ever had. We all ate way too much and waddled out of there way too full. Warm, cozy, and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in and linger over the meal. Appetizers We started with a cheese flatbread, boat-shaped and blistered at the edges, the interior molten and gooey with a bright basil leaf on top. Simple but done really well, crisp crust giving way to all that warm cheese. Mains The brunch dishes were the highlight. A sizzling skillet of eggs cooked over spiced sausage came out rich and savory, the yolks just set, perfect for scooping up with the basket of warm bread on the side. The tomato-based baked eggs were equally good, a deep, well-seasoned sauce with a little heat and fresh herbs on top. Comforting, generous, and full of flavor. Drinks The blackberry mocktail was a standout, refreshing and beautifully garnished with a cluster of fresh blackberries. Always great to see a thoughtful non-alcoholic option that feels like more than an afterthought. Service Attentive and warm throughout. The team kept everything moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Verdict Five stars. Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and a mocktail worth ordering on its own. The food was phenomenal, and there wasn't a single bite that we didn't enjoy. We began our meal with two appetizers, the eggplant shakshouka and the sauteed shrimp. While I preferred the eggplant for its taste, I was surprised by the small portion and the lack of egg. Isn't shakshouka known for its signature fried egg, nestled in a bed of tomatoes and peppers? I could be wrong. Nonetheless, it was delicious, and the accompanying loaf was wonderfully soft and flavored with garlic oil. It was the best table bread I've ever had. For our mains, we ordered lamb chops and adana kebab. Both were so delicious and huge! I'm often leery of lamb for its gaminess, but this one wasn't gamey at all. Rather, it had a slight funk, much like a well aged cheese. It was delicious, and the sear on that tender meat added a nice smokiness. The kebab was well seasoned and it, too, had a nice, moderate sear. For dessert, there was only one option, the baklava, and it was everything a baklava ought to be: generously soaked in syrup, the filo dough flaky, with layers of crunch from the chopped pistachios. I loved everything at A La Turka, and if I ever wanted Middle Eastern food again (which I often do these days), I'll come here!
