The wait for my food was so long we had to wait for more than 45 minutes for our food the food was good but definitely not worth 45 minutes

if I could leave less I would we stayed the weekend at the water park ordered pizza and bread they forgot to cut the pizza and the bread was burnt to a crisp they proceeded to tell us that even if I got a new one it would be the same it the new seasoning they use I then gave them then they bread back asked for a manager and the lady then said she would have a new one made differently the. I came back up and a different lady had the crazy bread I gave them back complaining about how burnt it was I know it was the one returned because when signing my bill I marked the box with pen on accident will never eat here again read more

I had hoped to see some changes since my last review and I must say the menu has changed quite a bit. The kids mac and cheese seems different. Rather than the cheese sauce and I believe shells it looked like kraft mac and cheese. This isn't an issue if the price is right. We had onion petals for an appetizer which was not on the menu but was executed very well. I ordered the salmon but they were out so I ordered a weird way to eat a Ruben since I can't have bread and they were ready to accommodate. My husband had the chicken Caesar salad, my son ordered a pizza which we thought was personal but a full 16" came out. The crust was undercooked. Food freshness gets 5 stars, 4 stars for quality because of the undercooked pizza crust. Ambiance and cleanliness gets 5 stars each as it is a nice cozy and quiet place to dine. Finally service also gets 5 stars. Our waiters were kind, accommodating, and attentive. Not to mention they knocked some off the bill for the inconvenience of the salmon. Nice job guys. This pulls my review from 3 stars to a whopping 5 stars!! Maybe it's time for others to give this location another try. To follow up we also came here for breakfast and I had to get back on here and rave about the corned beef hash. First off, I ordered this hesitantly because I hate canned corned beef hash and I was scared. You guys!! This was homemade with huge chunks of corned beef!! The entire this was executed perfectly from start to finish. My daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes which had a perfect amount of chocolate chips. Just enough to call it a chocolate chip pancake but not so many it became a desert. My son was happy with his omelette but if you ask me it could've used some cheese. Make sure you order that as part of your toppings. I will say it again... if you haven't yet it's time to give Nbadake another try. read more

Should have realized this place sucked when there were only a few people eating breakfast here! Waitress was unfriendly and serious everyone that worked there was unapproachable. We ate here during our stay and it was better we expected, based on reviews and the type of food on the menu. There was a sign that said "the whole world is short staffed- be kind." I thought it set a good tone. I think there were only 4 people working, but they all seemed experienced and not flustered by the rush of customers. All the food was fresh and of good quality. It is a simple menu, with lots of fried food, but everything was good. We had the fish and chips, chicken wrap, club sandwich and nachos. The service was great. Everyone dropped what they were doing to help us with a booster seat, and other toddler accommodations. Overall, they do what they do well. read more

We wanted to try the restaurant in the Soaring Eagle Waterpark. It was one of those once and done kind of experiences. To be nice all I'll say is the wait time for our food was well over 60 min and the quality of the food was below average for a Coney Island type of feel If you have a car I would suggest any other restaurant around the water park. read more

Ate here for dinner last night and breakfast today. The food was really good! I had a Cobb salad last night and all the Ingredients were fresh and tasty. It was a huge salad and only cost $9. I don't find that too bad for a hotel restaurant. We were the only ones in there on a Thursday night so good came out fast. Today I had a breakfast consisting of eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon , and toast. It was also $9 and thought it was pretty good. My kids had kids meals for about $4.95. The waitstaff wasn't the best. Friendly, but kind of seemed like they'd rather be somewhere else. All in all not bad for a hotel restaurant. read more

Came here one night for dinner and had he piazza buffet. The pizzas were pretty good, not great, not bad...cut in baby slices which were fun because you could try a variety of pizzas they had to offer. The buffet also had lasagna, bread, and salad. It too bad for I think $10. Came back for breakfast. Had the buffet and a plate. The buffet was okay; one batch of bacon was great; the second batch was a bit over cooked---thankful I had some of the awesome first batch. Rest of the buffet was standard issue stuff. Then I opted for a breakfast sandwich that looked amazing as it came, but it was mostly cheese, no egg. I had to put some scrambled eggs from the buffet on the sandwich to make it more well rounded. And of course, had have mimosas that were quite tasty. Now for service...both times here it was very good. The servers are very nice and helpful. read more

Applebees down the road is your option when staying at the hotel. the restaurant is too small, the food takes too long, obviously over priced. no reasonable options outside the burger, which comes back a hockey puck. They brought a dinner salad with no dressing and they served a whole corn on the cob with no holders and no butter. But the large piece of fish that was on the plate with the corn was delicious. Even a piece of parsley would've made that plate look a little better. read more

Waterpark is fun... restaurant is 3rd rate. Bare minimum effort and service. There is no quality standard. Grumpy servers who don't care. Takes over 20 mins to get drinks on a "normal" evening. Whoever is in charge of the restaurant should be out on the floor seeing how bad their service sucks. Either a total lack of or broken leadership. Have been here 3-4x's, won't be back. read more

These last two five stars are clearly lying for the establishment. My family and I are staying at the hotel and had dinner here. It was a horrible experience and a waste of stomach space! The food was mediocre at best. Bar food trying to be gourmet cuisine. The worst part for my family was our horrible waitress and their awful staff. We were never brought water. My wine came out after my food. Our waitress purposefully interrupted every single order with a sharp tone and irritability. Then when it came time to pay, we asked her to split it between my mom and I down the middle. She immediately interrupted as expected and explained that it is impossible while basically scolding us for even thinking about it. I have been a waitress myself long enough in an establishment 50 years older, to know that splitting bills are possible on any POS system. I can usually brush any 'bad' experience off at a restaurant. But this was far too unpleasant for more than just myself. She was very rude to my mother and family, which led me to my first yelp review. I usually just leave stars. However, people should know to NEVER come here. Maybe they will fix... Everything. This was an 8 person top with large bills and potential large tip. I cannot remember the last time my mom and I tipped 15%. We love tipping half the bill as a thank you to our waitress. Too bad. "DO NOT EAT HERE". Our group of 10 (including a 2 & 3 year old toddler) Had a 7PM reservation. When we arrived restaurant was only 10% full. Still had to wait 20-25 minutes to get seated. Took 45 minutes to an hour to get our food. Appetizers (spinach dip and fried pickles) served at room temperature and cost $20 or so. Had th almost beg for enough plates to share the appetizers. Food arrived over a 15 or 20 minute time span ( one couple never got their pizza) 4 salads.....all 4 had frozen lettuce and hard boiled eggs. First time in decades of years eating out I saw 3 people actually spit out their food. Fish dinner ($22) was served cold. My medium "rare" burger ($16) was served well done at room temperature with processed cheese. French fries room temperature and rubbery. Both looked pre-cooked and reheated in a microwave... could go on and on how terrible of an experience we had... once again "DO NOT EAT HERE"!! read more

The only issue we had was deciding between ordering breakfast or doing the breakfast buffet. (They offer a "stuffed French toast"!!) we ultimately got the breakfast buffet and it was delicious. It had scrambled eggs and cheese and eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, pancakes, Belgian waffles, and perfect bacon! It was just under $12 per adult and $7 for kids and includes a beverage. - as long as you get more then one plate it's absolutely worth it. The Belgian waffles were my favorite! And they offered some strawberry goo with strawberry and warm maple (real maple not the gross bottle syrup flavored like maple). Our waitress was extremely friendly, and filled our drinks quickly and checked in often. I don't know what all the bad reviews are about seems more like disgruntled guests. Everyone seems really hands on, management even came by to check on us. We also ordered the fry bread Sunday the night before. It was delicious (you may want to eat it downstairs tho, we were going to order room service but wanted to pay with cash and they said the waitress would have to return with change and didn't want to hassle them so we came down and picked it up and it was hard to eat in the styrofoam container - but it was so good we demolished it quickly). read more

If you make it past that, get ready for extreme mediocrity. Prices are high for relatively small portions of an o.k. meal(that's being very nice too). Today was a Saturday and they were understaffed. We waited half hour to get into the restaurant and then another half hour to even get waited on to order drinks. The prices are too high for the portion sizes you get. French toast was good but biscuits and gravy were pretty bad. If I could give zero stars, I would. My father's wrap came to the table without avocado (he loves avocado, this is why he ordered the wrap) and the server went to the kitchen to ask why - apparently they were out of avocado and just decided not to say anything to us. He was halfway through it already, and he's not picky, so just finished it. I asked for it to taken off the bill because it's ludicrous that a menu item be brought out without one of the main ingredients, and was met with a fight from the manager on duty. She supplied a free breakfast for two for the following day after a heated discussion in the middle of the dining room, which was unnecessary. We won't be back, obviously, and I would sorely discourage anyone else thinking of this establishment for a meal. Think of your worst restaurant experience ever ... Now multiply that by 10 and you have Nbakade in the Waterpark Hotel at Soaring Eagle. Out of convenience and the mistaken belief that it can't happen twice, we ate breakfast there (or tried to) Saturday and Sunday. The food is beyond hideous, the service is fit for a prison cafeteria and the atmosphere is something straight out of a foul dream. The hotel is clean and nice, the waterpark is a fun place and the staff is reasonably friendly, so this disastrous scullery is out of character with the rest of the enterprise. Perhaps the worst part of it all was trying to convey to the arrogant little snot of a manager that he has a problem on his hands, this after we sat for 40 minutes waiting for food that wasn't fit to slop into a hog pen. We waited an hr....while the host, manager, and waitstaff stood around???? No clean tables...we were seated and never got silverware....then when we went up to the buffet their was good all over the floor and 1 slice of pizza to the hole place at 7:30!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they charged us for pop! Since when is a drink not included with a pizza buffet???? Ridiculous! The manager never asked how things were! So dissapointed read more

Second time here. For dinner We decided to eat outside as I was wet from the pool and thought I'd end up freezing before we were done eating. Service was once again TOP NOTCH even being the only customers out there. Breakfast service the next day was TOP NOTCH as well. I wish I could remember the names of the Servers so I could give them Personal KUDOS!! Food was fantastic as well! I had the fish sandwich - no bun - and I still got all the fixings with it! The seasond fries were great and plentifull! For breakfast - Stuffed French Toast wirh Bananas Foster! DELISH & SO RICH I couldn't finish it! My compliments to the Chef / Chefs! No problems with the food voucher although I wish we could use it for the tip as well. I don't usually carry cash and to use my card for just the tip is too much of a hastle. read more

Avoid the pizza! It honestly reminded me of gas station pizza. Sure, it's eatable, but a $5 Little Caesar pizza makes it look and taste like a gourmet meal in comparison. I'm incredibly surprised there aren't any any other reviews, since it was so bad of an experience. First off this is, other than the food court in the water park, the only onsite restaurant. So for the convenience and the fact that I didn't get food poisoning, I'll give it one star. We ate here twice (glutton for punishment I suppose), staff was not very friendly and slower than turtles stampeding through peanut butter. Food was, eh, ok. On one visit we waited 30 minutes for drink refills to be brought refills in to go cups because according to our server they were out of clean cups. Interesting since we were the only people there and I saw stacks of clean glasses at the bar. Food didn't arrive together, more like a five minute space between plates. I could go on and on but let's just say it's awful, order pizza and have it delivered. I should have known when at noon the place is empty. read more

I couldn't agree more with the other bad reviews. How is this place still open? A group of us went for a Sunday brunch and it was the most awful experience I've ever had. No service, wait stuff had no idea who was "responsible" for our table so they argued in front of us over who was going to help us. this was after we sat for 30 minutes wondering if someone was going to take an order from us. Still after over 40 minutes and no drinks. It wasn't even that busy and there was a buffet! My friend ordered a skillet breakfast that was supposed to have melted cheese - it came out almost an hour later (most of us had the buffet) with no cheese! She asked to send it back and get the melted cheese and they brought out a bowl of shredded cheese and told her she could put it on herself! How was she supposed to melt it!!!! This was such an awful experience, I will NEVER go back. On the buffet, there was one crock of oatmeal and another of sausage gravy - you seriously could not tell the difference and it was almost comical when some unlucky person just realized they put oatmeal on their biscuits, expecting it to be sausage gravy. This place was just really bad and I caution anyone who is thinking about it. read more
