I've been back to Tony 3 times for my 2014 BMW annual tune up etc. He always does great work. I was concerned with at the sounds of my tappets which I hadn't noticed. I called Tony to bring it in for a check up and over the phone after a few questions said it was normal for the older BMWs' to have louder tappets. Where do I begin ... and I'll keep it short, those who know me know the whole picture. Took the car in for a body kit to be installed and a wrap done, what Nikko said it'll take a week after all it took 4 months. Excuses over excuses, I'm not gonna get into details but I bet everyone that worked with NCA heard them. Done a horrible job, didn't finish, parts missing and other broken on the panels installed, vinyl cracks, parking sensors not working, rear camera not working, windows not operating properly, but most important collision assist system not working. Water pouring in the trunk due to wing seal missing. Large gaps that were not adjusted to the panels. Wheels locks cap loose and fell off the highway, wheel arches covers loose, broken, tail lights loose, almost fell off while driving, filthy interior, scratches on the steering wheel, and list goes on... and that's how I picked it up after 4 months sitting there. Went back numerous times and all I heard were promises over promises that he'll address it. All lies. I'll have to add screenshots of conversations so people out there are aware of what's happening here. I ended up in a fender bender incident because of this issue, when if the collision assist would've worked I would not be in this position. Asked for vinyl code, color, nothing ... I guess I'm left now with going to another shop and re-do this work all over again. Now with this issues talking around with friends I hear that many, many others had problems with Nikko. I had them do an oil change on my car a little less than a year ago, while the dealership quoted me $270, I spent $190 here...but I had to bring my own oil and filter. Literally charged me 190 for labor and my dumb@$$ paid 130 for the parts. The kid working there didnt seem like hes done this before because I had to inform him the oil in the filter holder had to be siphoned out. Just got a quote from another place strictly for bmws, and they quoted me 150 with labor and parts. Which led me to write this review. This review is solely based on responsiveness. I've engaged them twice in the past 6 months (most recently 2 weeks ago) and the experience has been poor. The shop doesn't answer the phone, and they don't return calls. I had to pop in to discuss work. Tony seemed honest and took care of my minor repair (pads and rotors). Most recently I had to pop up again due to their failure to answer the phone. I waited for more than 30 minutes without any acknowledgement from Tony. May be a good shop but not worth the poor customer service. Bimmer Werkshop is a little further but it has proven to be a much better experience. read more

When I bought an older BMW X5 couple years ago, I started looking for a good shop that has experience working on BMWs. That is how I found NCA Motorsports. I brought my car for the inspection and Tony worked on a few things that needed attention. BMW-s are not cheap cars to work on, and they are not the most reliable ones either, so I expected to pay some money, but I also wanted the mechanic with experience and knowledge. And I liked this place. The first positive impression was how clean the shop is - it is spanking clean. Then as I was coming more - for oil changes, and other maintenance and repairs, I continued to see quality service and reasonable prices. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I brought my new Mercedes GLE coupe to them, Nikko told me it would be 5-7 days for the work on my car, I was even told that if I paid more up front that my car would be prioritized over other vehicles, so I did. Nikko gave me the run around for weeks and when I finally called the body shop, his dad the real owner answered, and they had no record of my car in their books at the time. My car took over 30 days and the day it was done, Nikko and his team left my keys unlocked inside of my car, and it was mysteriously stolen right from in front of their shop, only to be found totaled later that day. They refused to give me my money back or assist with any of my damages, replacement vehicle and what insurance did not cover for the accident (let alone the rise in insurance cost I had after this). I had a decent sized scratch in the front of my car. I had asked for multiple quotes from a few different shops and all were saying how I would need to have the bumper removed to fix the scratch and it would be 1,000-1,400$ in repairs. A friend of mine told me about Niko who works here and I got in contact with him. He was so responsive and my quote was a fraction of what all these other places would have cost me. I had a feeling being a female some of these car places would try and take advantage of that, but Niko did not. My car looks wonderful and the work he did was great. DO NOT bring your vehicle here if you care about it! I brought my 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia to this place last fall for an oil change, and 30k maintenance. The owner confirmed they are able to work on the vehicle. Upon picking the vehicle up, I was greeted with a warning message that there was too much oil in the vehicle. I contacted the owner about this to be told my sensor was bad and needing replacement. After driving the vehicle for a couple hundred miles, the warning went away (I'm assuming enough oil was burned in this time to bring the oil level where it should be). The warning has not returned. 5 months and 5k miles later, my vehicle is in the service department due to check engine light when they notice the oil filter on the vehicle is that of a Cadillac and does not fit the vehicle. Which then caused the engine to not receive the proper lubrication, and cause misfires. The spark plugs are shot and in need of another change. $500 down the drain. read more

I first heard about Tony from a friend of mine. He recommended him to me few years ago when he still worked on the side out of his garage. As soon as I called over there they were so kind and helpful got me scheduled right away to bring my car in to be checked. When bringing my car in Tony was so nice and professional. I was recommended by one of my good friends to N.C.A. Motorsports. The service is unbelievable from these guys. What started from a simple oil change on my 2014 4 Series, turned into a front break job, and brake fluid service. The shop did not hesitate to keep my car for a bit longer to complete all of the work. A full inspection of the vehicle was done to make sure there are no other issues with the car. I don't think you can beat their pricing either. Fields BMW wanted to charge me around $900 for front brake service and separately $900 for rear. N.C.A. Motorsports completed the front brake service for $450-$500. Which is half of what Fields Bmw quotes. Also, the owner kept me updated with the service and sent pictures of progress. It's great to know that your car is being serviced properly and in care of a shop that cares about maintaining foreign vehicles. This place is owned by a previous fields bmw technician. He did a job a while a go for my seven series. I remember it was replacing couple coolant hoses and a belt. After I was charged $300 not including parts, my vehicle blows the coolant hose and spits all the antifreeze. I had to take it to Patrick's BMW and the service manager informed me that who ever did this job didn't take the air from the coolant system! This process was very easy since there was a bleeding screw on the radiator to remove air pressure and hence balance the water flow into the engine. This was not done ! And I don't believe mr Tony didn't know about it. However, Patricks BMW did this for free for my vehicle and toped the fluids while I was respectively waiting and drinking my complimentary coffee. If there is one elusive thing in life, it is finding a reliable, and honest auto mechanic. Look no further, Tony is your guy! If you own a BMW, the Fields dealership will talk about all the "perks" they offer in their fancy establishment. Warning, these are not free, you are paying for them, and you are paing dearly! Mom took X5 in for oil change. She got suckered into replacing CV boot while there. By the time she got home, she said her car was making a loud noise, and alternator light was on. Took car back to dealer, who said, "boy, we have never seen this before, but the alternator literally broke in half!". Charged here $2000 to fix it! I told her she was scammed, as they probably damaged it while working on the CV boot. About 7.5K later, she had ABS and 4 x 4 lights on. Went back to Fields. i told her to not authorize any service, other than the oil change, until I could review it with the delaer. They wanted $6000 to replace the transaxle, among other things. With compete frustration, talked to freinds, and found Tony at NCA Motorsports in Morton Grove. Took the car, and the Fields diagnostic report to him. $1200 later, the real problem was fixed. Tony showed us the parts he replaced, the problems he found and repaired, and walked us through the reccomended future maintenance the car actually needs (by pointing out the signs, and showing us the parts that need attention). This guy is tops! Go to the dealer for the free car wash and food, then take your car to NCA motorsports for honest, and excellent service!!!!! read more

If there is such a thing as an honest mechanic, Tony is it! For example, my car dealership told me I had an engine problem and was going to be about $1,500 for the repair. I wanted a second opinion, so I took it to Tony. Tony checked it out and said the dealership wrong... there was actually nothing wrong other than a loose oil filter (or something like that). It's been about 15,000 miles since then and no problems. Ever since, I take my cars to him for everything minor to major. I brought my 2012 335i xdrive coupe to Tony and NCA last year for the first time. My car was under warranty before that so I was bringing it to the dealer. The dealer said I needed to replace my oil pan gasket. After hearing the price, I contacted Tony. He quoted me a price that was 50% less than the dealer. I had Tony do the work and when I picked it up, he took another $50 off because it didn't take as long as he quoted. I just purchased an 06' BMW M5 and came across NCA Motorsports. Just was driving by and decided to stop in. I met with Tony and told him I wanted an inspection on my car. He did a complete inspection and found a few parts I needed to replace. He was fair and even did some additional work for me for a good price. I left satisfied. Mind you an M5 isn't cheap for parts, but I felt he knows his business and stayed in touch with me while he had my car. Even gave it a wash and had it ready to go when I arrived. Nice people. I bought a stock E71 X6M. Too slow. I wanted to start with an exhaust and maybe a few more bolt ons. Started shopping for upgrades and getting quotes from dealers and well known performance shops all around the Chicagoland area. I knew it would be expensive but pretty much every place I called took expensive to a whole nother level. My trippy friend told me to check out this shop called NCA Motorsports. I talked to Nikko and told him what I was looking to do, he started getting me quotes and explaining everything to me in detail. Every quote was cheaper than a few other places I compared NCA to, except for one set of hoses and all the quotes I got were within $25 of each other. Nikko really knows his stuff; to this day every time I talk to him I learn something new about my car. Anyway back to the story. I wanted to go check out the shop so I went to meet Nikko and the owner Tony. I couldn't believe how new and clean it was. State of the art, definitely a professional shop. I felt good about leaving new bae here for a while. I decided on an exhaust, downpipes, intakes, brakes, and maybe a couple other little things. Normally I'd wait for the shop to call and say that my car is ready. Nikko sent me pictures of everything all along the way and pretty much inspected every inch of the car..he noticed how the dealer replaced a hose backyard-bob style thanks Jidd. I popped in on them one day while it was there and it was the fine details that set them apart from shops that aren't great; fenders and areas covered, they didn't grab my clean pretty rims with grimy mechanic hands, things like that. When I got my car back it was right from the jump. Nikko showed me all the old parts and I even kept a bunch of them. I expected to pop a check engine light at some point just with the changes to everything but I never did. If you take your car, especially a BMW, anywhere else but here then you took an L already.
