So... have y'all heard of MAC.BID? It's that website where…read moreyou can bid on Amazon returns and potentially score things for ridiculously low prices. I finally decided to try it this week, and let me tell you -- I was NOT emotionally prepared for how this would go. There are two locations in Texas (Schertz and San Antonio). I bought this Maven Lane Alexander bar stool -- retail price $329 -- for $32. After tax and fees, I walked out paying $45 total. Absolute robbery. I am officially hooked. Now for the part they don't warn you about... Pickup day arrives. I go to the Schertz warehouse feeling confident and slightly smug. Rookie mistake. I did not bring a dolly. I assumed someone would load it for me. Friends... this is not that kind of place. This is a self-help warehouse. Here's how it works: * Every item has a barcode * You stand in a long line just to get into the warehouse * Once your winning barcode is scanned and verified, you're released into the wild to find your item And when I say the warehouse is massive -- I mean MASSIVE. From tiny packages to full-size refrigerators. It took me a minute (okay, several minutes) to figure out the system. I'm also one of those people who avoids asking for help unless absolutely necessary, so naturally I learned by wandering around like a confused Costco shopper. Meanwhile, seasoned MAC.BID pros were cruising by with dollies stacked high, looking like they'd trained for this moment. I, on the other hand, had... my arms. I somehow managed to wrestle my giant box to checkout, where your barcode is scanned again, and then -- freedom. Victory. Mild sweat. Final verdict? Incredible deals Wild experience Bring a dolly Lower expectations of assistance 10/10 would do again Important note: If you don't pick up your item(s) within the pickup window, they'll happily charge your card and resell the item. Ask me how I know... just kidding (but seriously). MAC.BID: come for the bargains, stay for the workout.

Top notch customer service!…read more We initially went in to add a phone/ phone line to our account, but ended up going with the BOGO sale they have running. Frank Barber was extremely knowledgeable and saved us a lot of money that we had been spending monthly. His level of professionalism and service was second to none. We are in times where customer service is a four letter word in most retail but Frank was Awesome! We highly recommend this location!

UPDATE!!!! Costco said they should have replaced my phone. We needed to go back and have the…read moremanager return it. Called to make certain manager would be there, yes, until 4. Drove an hour and the manager had fled and the salesman lied that he called her. He was the same con who added a line and sold me a new phone. Refused to correct the FRAUD. Phone was dark & getting hot. Stopped in and Edgar was only person in store. He immediately got me a new phone, said it would cost nothing & he would transfer data. My phone still worth money but he said keep it on for sometime until I knew everything worked on new one. I sat as he helped people coming in and would periodically look at my phone. Didn't really tell me much he was busy. A couple weeks later my husband reviews our bill with a lot of charges and A NEW PHONE LINE??? Where is it going? I was on the phone nearly 2 hrs with ATT & resolved NOTHING. Called Costco since that's who I did my AT&T through originally. They indicated that I'm going to have to go back to the store and only the manager can take this off. Unbelievable I guess this person needed a sale and so he sold me a phone and a phone line. I don't even live in that same town so I'm going to have to make a trip two skirts area to see if I can get some of the substantial amount of money AT&T is taking from me due to this FRAUD.
