    French Fries

Yummy vegan restaurant!! I am not sure why I haven't been to this place sooner. It is located on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard near Rogers Bridge Road. The place is not very large but is still spacious and very clean. As soon as you walk in, you are warmly greeted. The staff is very welcoming and kind. They asked if we had any questions and the great thing is their menu came with a separate little picture menu so you could get an idea of what the different dishes looked like. They serve you water and ask if you would like ice (which is nice, because my friend doesn't like ice in her water). They have a wide selection of different dishes. I think they are mostly Persian (Iranian) dishes. They had dishes like Ghormeh Sabzi. We got an Okra stew, an order of French Fries, a Chick Pea Salad and. Falafel Bowl. The Okra Stew had a tomato base with potatoes. It was delicious with the rice. The French Fries were seasoned with the right amount of salt and pepper. The Chick Pea Salad had Feta, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Red Onion, Kalamata Olives and a nice dressing. The Falafel Bowl had four pieces of Falafel, Hummus, Couscous (I Think) and a pickled cabbage. We also had a slice of Pistachio Cake with Rose Water Everything tasted really fresh and was perfectly seasoned! My friend couldn't stop eating the Hummus and the salad. I couldn't stop eating the French Fries. I guess I really wanted French Fries. We are definitely going to go back and try other things. The cake is not very sweet which was nice. My friend and I don't like overly sweet cakes and pastries. I was happy to find out that the business is family run. Always happy to support mom and pop/family owned businesses. The food is yummy, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant itself is spotless. Definitely give it a go!!

Fabulous food. High quality, lots of options. Nicely spiced: good flavors; not too much salt, but enough; I had the Gheymeh Bademjoon (a Persian stew). I loved it. Mint lemonade was good, refreshing. Service was attentive and the place was kinda empty early on a Tuesday. Definitely got the owner's best. Ambiance: neat, clean, well-lit. Nice, but not strongly themed. A bit pricey, but it's 2025 and it's Vegan. Let's see where it shakes down.

I went here on Valentine's Day and had the neek kabob. that was seriously some of the best vegan food I have ever had. I haven't had a good kabob since going vegetarian, and I cannot express how delicious it was. i also had some hot tea with the date delights which was a perfect way to end the meal. my server Amir went above and beyond to make sure I had a nice experience. I will 100% be back here

Persian and Vegan?? This place is amazing! They had so many great choices, but my friend and I settled on the Kabobs and the Greek Chickpea salad. We were able to get the kabobs with the barberry rice. Everyone there was super nice and it has great vibes. I definitely want to come back here and try some more items which includes dessert!

So this is a vegan Persian restaurant, clearly and specifically so. As I close in on 4000 reviews, it's not often that I think "this is new", but when this popped up in my search, I had never seen such a business before. It's quite a good prototype for a cuisine that is normally not that vegetarian-friendly but can in fact be done very well. I spent a while perusing the menu. It is quite broad, and had a mix of whole food ingredients and vegan meat and cheese substitutes, as well as some tofu. I really wanted to try everything, but settled on a salad and an appetizer. This does not sound like much, but the portions were substantial. My appetizer was a potato and onion mix that was as mouthwatering as it sounds. With bread on the side, it was basically a deconstructed samosa. I could not finish it, but it will make good leftovers. A salad based on lentils and berries also had cashews and avocado and thus was quite filling. A delightful lemon dressing lent that fruity note that often pops up in this cuisine. And on top of that, my tea came with a complimentary bit of cake that I did not ask for. I'd just finished a donut from Georgia's highest rated donut shop, but the cake was given to me so I ate it and it was not disappointing by comparison. Quite moist for a vegan cake. I got lovely service and it was a nice enough place to eat in. I wish I could have tried everything else.

This is an amazing vegan experience! The restaurant is very calm and crisp. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Everything we had was amazing and this was so worth the 3 hour drive from Alabama. We will be back.

I was transported to a land, once named Persia, with foods that are nutritious and above all tastes amazing! Very happy I found this place and feel as a nutritionist that everyone should be visiting this amazing restaurant that includes a peaceful ambiance and service that is truly thoughtful and caring. Please don't turn away from the word vegan because this food is what your body truly needs to thrive with flavors that will amaze you.

Truly a GEM!!!! Everything was amazing . We had the sampler...DELICIOUS!!!!!! And the neek sandwich which is big enough for 2. I couldn't stop thinking about the food. I ordered delivery the next day and had lentils soup ( feels like grandma made it) and the Kolet wrap ( came de-constructed) which I greatly appreciated. Everything was fresh, seasoned, and balanced. It was so good I had to share to ensure someone else could experience the freshness and joy this food brought me. The service was amazing as well. I can't wait to order again today.

Small Mediterranean vegan restaurant in North Atlanta. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Food is good, but I wish it would have more spice. The meat kebab is popular but underseasoned.

Stopped by with my family and we had a great experience. They're family owned and they were wonderful to talk to. The place is nice and accommodating. Explained to me how to properly eat the dizi and the portion sizes were amazing, large sizes. Big portions but with great prices. I was full. Highly recommended! I ordered the Neek Sampler, and the main course was Persian Dizi. I didn't get a picture of the neek lemonade but I loved it!

An easy 5 star! The vibe the owners are all zen full. I noticed it upon walking in. The food, the service is top notch. They have it all covered. From the expansive vegan menu down to an array of delightful vegan deserts. I wish I lived closer.

There's no formal dress code, so some tables were fully dressed in fancy outfits celebrating birthdays. While other tables were in sweatshirts and jeans. So just wear whatever you want. The small appetizer plate they bring out is good, I ate the flat bread with a hummus I ordered. The hummus is solid but I'd probably try a different dip the next time. I ordered the Salmon kebab plate. I was asked how I wanted my salmon cooked, and I said well-done. But how they cooked it was amazing! The salmon was fully cooked but still flaky and tender, and juicy. I found it flavorful enough, but there is a salt and pepper grinder on the table if you need it. It comes with a roasted tomato and a huge mound of saffron rice. I liked the rice a lot but it is a bit plain. If you want a more flavorful or interesting rice, you can add a different rice for $4. Those extra charge ones come with a lot more toppings like different nuts, herbs, or dried fruits. I'd like to try more different dishes next time, but what I was very satisfied by what I ordered. The restaurant is very dimly lit. The server was very nice and attentive. It's in a strip mall area so parking isn't hard to find.

We visited around 3 PM on a Friday for a late lunch and were seated quickly. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see that they have plenty of options on the menu. We started with the yogurt dip with cucumber and the baba ghanoush, both of which were very tasty. For my main dish, I ordered the veggie kebabs, which come with saffron rice and grilled pineapple--my favorite part. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. They also offer lunch specials from 11 AM to 3 PM on certain weekdays, and we happened to arrive just in time to take advantage of that, which was a nice bonus. Parking was easy as well. I would definitely come back!

Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! We had 4 adults and one 3 year old. We got out for something in the neighborhood of of $240. Ordering is ala carte: we had 3 meats, 3 sides, drinks. We had a very small bit left over. Decor was excellent. A beautiful entryway, muted lighting, muted noise. Service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. While I'd love to return regularly, price makes that impossible, but it was definitely worth this visit. It will be up for consideration next time we have something big to celebrate.

As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(

I'm also not a fan of their reheated meats and slop-bowl serving style that America loves these days. Too bad, because the meat quality and flavor is good, but once it's reheated so many times, the beef, chicken, lamb, loses it's appeal. The ordering counter is crammed into the corner of the restaurant and is very stressful to maneuver if there is more than one customer.
