Two words to describe my quick morning bite at Nehemiah... "Holy Honey". Was just coming to grab a small bite and coffee before returning to Airbnb to work some. This was my first mistake. I quickly regretted not bringing my laptop to get some productive working in. The cafe had no limit of seating and noticed they also offer working spaces for groups to collaborate. The coffee was tasty. Got a basic, iced vanilla latte. The food was epic! I was in between the basic and the Madi's way. Barista suggested Madi's way and I'm so thankful. I asked my partner if he wanted a bite and told him he would regret it when he said "no". The cream cheese was nicely whipped, the bacon nice and crunchy and the honey was so obviously fresh and homemade. You could see the spices in the honey. It all balanced perfectly!! read more

Another update because I've become more of a regular and wanted to mention a few things. One, they stay open now until 10pm Thursday through Saturday, and two, they have beer and wine. I love a coffee and dessert after dark and think a little glass of red wine or bubbles fits right in. Wine sounds especially good if you're ordering a flatbread or grilled cheese or tomato soup.. Nehemiah usually has gluten free bread available (maybe call ahead to ask, just in case. I've gone to order a sandwich before and they were out of gf bread). They get their GF products from Pinch of Salt Pastries in Grapevine, so you know they're good. I really really enjoy the "avo great day" avocado toast at Nehemiah -- the avocado spread is super fresh and kinda spicy. Overall it's a light but satisfying meal for anytime of day, really. Jon loves their "de-lox" smoked salmon bagel. And the prices are so good and fair for these quality sandwiches and bagels, truly. Note that Nehemiah's kitchen closes around 9:30/10am to prepare for lunch beginning at 11am. It gets crowded here, of course, but it's a pretty vast space for a coffee shop. Tons of seating and plenty of outlets for chargers. There's two decent sized patios and an entire upstairs. Go get cozy! read more

Nehemiah Coffee Co is a very unique LOCAL coffee shop. It's open and airy with plenty of places to gather and work or visit. They even have a small kids table, rooms you can rent, and an upstairs! It's very warm and cozy feeling. The coffee was great and chocolate muffin was delicious. Nice place to go to get out of the house. I went with a dirty Chai Latte and it was tasty!! Had the perfect amount of spice ! I also tried the empanadas and they were still cold so I couldn't enjoy them to the highest level. I googled a local coffee shop as I said in Arlington to wait for my daughter to get out of class. Boy am excited that I chose this place. I wish I lived in Arlington. I would go here weekly for sure. Downstairs was a little crowded so I had upstairs to the outdoor balcony/patio area. It was so relaxing that I wanted to fall asleep.. I realize that I didn't have the Wi-Fi password so I called downstairs to get it, and they provided that information with no problems. I don't drink coffee, but the tea was good. Next time I'll try specialty drink and food because the food looked delicious and smelled delicious as well, I will definitely return for another visit in the area read more

Came here for the first time and I was impressed!! The shop is absolutely beautiful, tons of seating upstairs and downstairs, and the color scheme is so cute! There were also 3 bathrooms (2 downstairs and 1 upstairs) which was nice as well. I came to work so I went upstairs and I was able to find a table. Service wise, everyone was very nice and attentive! I ordered the Hibiscus Tea (sweetened), which was so good, and then I got the grilled cheese which was PERFECTLY toasted and tasted incredible!! I found Nehemiah after searching for a coffee shop near my Arlington hotel. Luckily, this gem was right down the street! As I was in a rush, I unfortunately was unable to go eat inside, but appreciated the swiftness of the staff working the drive thru. I was greeted with the kindest staff! I ordered the mocha and the breakfast sandwich with bacon -- absolutely yummy! If you're not a fan of chipotle flavor (the sandwich as chipotle aioli), it would still be a hearty sandwich even without that. Seems like it's been a while since a new office shop popped up in the Fort Worth area. Nehemiah is a strong new offering to the coffee community. It's located in the very stable North Arlington, where it's unusual for a new restaurant to appear. It has what I look for in a coffee shop, a cool space, good coffee, lots of room, and a convenient location. Nehemiah has a post-modern design with huge glass windows and a high ceiling. It's very bright and organic in tone. It reminds me a bit of a nicely designed library or office building. Not a detractor for me, but not cozy or rustic either if that's your thing. The seating is quite varied with a lot of places for small groups to chat or work together both upstairs and downstairs. My drink is a black eye with splash of cream which requires a robust coffee flavor to taste right. Nehemiah hit the target. The parking seems inadequate to support the amount of room in side this business. I had to lurk in the lot for a while for a spot to open up. It seems like they share parking with the adjacent apartment complex. Highly recommended but parking might be tricky. read more

Lastly, there's almost always a line. If you're planning to meet a friend or stay on schedule during peak hours, add an extra 15-20 minutes just to wait your turn to order. My daughter had their oatmeal which usually comes with dried fruit and nuts, but they modified for free with fresh fruit since my daughter is a toddler. She loved her oatmeal! My brother had lattes, twice, which he loved and my husband and I had their brewed coffee which was as flavorful as a pour over! The service was decent though we were waiting in line while the register girl was busy on the phone and though 2 other employees were free to come lend a hand with those of us in line, they ignored us completely. I needed to change my environment when studying and stumbled across Nehemiah. I love going to Christian coffee shops- the atmosphere is indescribable. This location closes at 10pm so there's plenty of time to get your study time in, grab lunch nearby, and return to finish your workload- they even have a wine and beer menu! The interior is phenomenal. There are two floors with plenty of study spaces and even patios with chairs, tables, and couches. The first floor has a study room you can rent. The cafe has a drive-thru but I believe it was closed when I was there. I visited on a Saturday (9/21) and it must have been an off day. The service was SUPER slow. Two baristas and neither were attentive to getting through the line. The coffee is okay. As someone who truly enjoys coffee, I prefer to have mine in a ceramic mug if I'm dining it. I was informed they only had paper cups, which was sad considering their online menu consists of coffee in beautiful mugs. I ordered a 16 oz cinnamon dolce latte and it was milk coffee; watered down with no hint of coffee. I wanted to try the food but was discouraged by the long line and slow service. I loved the space and would return to study. The coffee, long lines, and slow service was discouraging. A busy Saturday morning + 2 discouraged baristas + long lines + a bathroom with a sink that isn't working is a recipe for disaster. It made sense why the drive-thru was closed for the day. read more
