I've had açaí far and wide. From Colorado to Atlanta and in between. I make a pretty gnarly bowl myself and hold the standard of excellence to açaí bowl restaurants. Most of them mess up the base with inconsistent texture. This place was great! I came on a Sunday morning and parking was extremely bad because this location is right across from a church so church attendees park in the plaza because they dont have enough parking. After 10 minutes of finding parking, I got out and it looked like the shop was closed because it's so darkly lit. When I walked in no one said hello or anything to me which was strange. I took a seat and waited for my friend and as people trickled in they all got greeted and helped. I was looking for a warm tea or drink but they dont have warm beverages. Prepackaged juice isnt fresh it's made at a company then shipped to the location for sale. I got an immune health beet shot which was okay. This location seems to be a little dated in terms of layout, nonetheless, still produces the same goodness that my body craves. Overall, a great experience! The atmosphere is quite pleasant with the abundance of natural lighting coupled with the kind and helpful employees. I got the toxin flush juice 16oz. I really appreciated that the employee asked me if I wanted ice or not. I chose no ice because I figured it would already be cold, which it was. Awesome healthy smoothies I tell ya! I'm a big smoothies guy and I love to pack the greens and other veggies in there but still get that good flavor in there and Neckter does exactly that! We went with the Berry Banana Burst and the Pink Flamingo and man they were delicious. Tons of fresh flavors but not one of those overly filling smoothies. First time here and I wish we had one where I live. Definitely beats the taste of Starbucks or any of those other big chain places. read more

I give Nekter major props for being innovative and keeping up with the charcoal food trends. It has been popping up in West and East coasts. We finally have it in Dallas for halloween. The ice cream was grainy. This was not my first charcoal ice cream. Iceny roll thai ice cream was able to get their ice cream smooth. Flavor was vanilla since charcoal is without any specific flavor. I stopped in here around 9am on a Wednesday. There was plenty of parking out front. I picked up one of their bottled juices and saw they had gluten free muffins. I grabbed a blueberry one. The muffin was fantastic! By far one of the best muffins I have ever had! I'm actually thinking about going back tomorrow just for that muffin! The staff was really sweet here and quick to get me checked out and on my way. I would definitely recommend stopping in here for a juiced drink or gluten free treat. read more

Been seeing this place advertised and been dying to try it. The place is small and extremely loud but that because of the blenders. It's not a place you would want to dine in, unless it was in the middle of week when it's less busy. I was impressed. Ordered a bowl and a smoothie. The bowl had so many delicious fresh fruit it was insane. It was extremely healthy and refreshing. I love the fact that they use cashew milk. YUM! I stopped by Nekter for an acai bowl after a sweaty Wednesday morning workout and loved my experience. I got a classic acai bowl with greens and gluten-free granola added, and it was delicious. The portion was HUGE, and even with all my extra toppings, the price came out to be around $10 (very reasonable compared to other places with a usual base price of at least $11). My bowl wasn't too sweet, and the smoothie wasn't watered down by other berries or bananas. My friends got the peanut butter acai bowl, which was so rich and delicious as well. We also got samples of their special dairy-free dessert, Skoop, which would make for a nice dessert. Friendly and fast service - 3 acai bowls out in under 10 minutes! Very disappointed!!! I love coming here the customer service is usually great. I went in 10 minutes before closing and was denied a juice because they already clean there machines. I asked the young lady what time do y'all close and she said 7, then I asked are y'all close she said no. So if you're not close and there is not a sign saying we stop making juices at a certain time I really don't understand why we couldn't get a juice. I've ordered a few times online and it's ready within 10 minutes - fast! The banana Berry and PB acai bowls are excellent and very filling. Why only 4 stars? They close at 7, which is too early. I've tried to go for a quick dinner multiple times only to realize that they're already closed. Annoying. The vegan ice cream (branded Skoop) is incredible, and the açaí bowls are usually pretty tasty, but the service at this location is unpredictable at best and downright abysmal at worst. Every time I order Skoop here, I'm given a different amount in a different container. One employee in particular--a curly-haired guy with a baseball cap--had to be told by another employee to put more in the container. On a different occasion, he was given the same criticism for an açaí bowl that he was preparing. (Every time he prepares my order, it takes twice as long.) Sometimes, the açaí mix here isn't fully blended, with large spinach leaves or frozen strawberries still present. The service is a shame, because the Nekter product is great. It wasn't busy at all, and our two bowls took over 15 minutes to make, only to find out that they weren't attentive and gave our bowls to another customer. So we then had to wait longer for them to make new bowls.
