Had an Açaí Mango to go with my daughter and it was delicious. In a busy shopping center with quite a few eateries. Parking can be packed (partly because of the gym a few doors down. If you park in a spot right in front of Nektar prepare to fight your way out. My suggestion...don't park right in front. Overall, it's hard to mess up Açaí. I love, love, love Nekter... Just not the one in La Habra. Unfortunately, the customer service tha5 has become synonymous with the Nekter brand is lacking at the La Habra location. Additionally, I've used Yelp to check into every Nekter I've been to, to either leave a review or for the complimentary ginger shot. However, although it's clearly advertised on Yelp, the cashier was unfamiliar with the coupon (see attached photo). When she asked her coworker, a young man said we don't accept those. When I asked why, he was unable to provide a clear explanation and added that the location only used "the app." As a long time Nektar Customer I found his explanation ridiculous. Especially when every other Nektar I have EVER been to accepts the Yelp coupon. read more

I have been to a Nektar a couple years ago to the Pasadena location. My girlfriend and I wanted a nice refreshing smoothie and acai bowl, so we decided to come here. However, I remember it being a lot better than what I tasted a week ago. Food: My acai mango bowl didn't have much flavor. It was refreshing, but I felt like it was missing something. Maybe the fruit wasn't sweet enough, but I would have liked more mango in the bowl. My girlfriend's pink flamingo smoothie was better tasting than mines. My acai bowl expectation is pretty high, so maybe that's why it didn't meet expectations. Ambiance: The inside is very appealing. There is a long bench to sit at and to enjoy yourself. I like how inviting it is! Overall, I don't recommend coming here for the acai bowls, but the smoothies are great and refreshing. read more

Great juice joint with high quality healthy products. I finally tried Nektar for the first time this week, and I'm so happy it's a chain because I loved my drink so much that I had to find the nearest shop to me, which is right here at the La Habra location. Last time I tried the Toxin Flush and today I tried the Green Apple Detox. Both juices were great and tasted super fresh and refreshing, but the Toxin Flush was a little sweeter so that's my favorite thus far. And I love how healthy and how good I felt about myself afterwards, especially considering how lately my drink of choice has been milk teas. The price is $6.25 for the small (16 oz), so it's a little more than what I'm used to spending on drinks but that's to be expected for good quality healthy options. Another point in Nektar's favor is that when you ask for ice, they give you your juice in the larger cup size and then add ice so that your drink is actually the 16 oz you paid for. I've never been to any other place that does this, so I was definitely impressed. Anyways, I would eventually like to try most of the drinks on offer. read more

I waited by stop watch a full 5' minutes to get ANY help or further acknowledgement But all i received was a bit of attitude (we'll serve you when we serve you). I returned because I was in the area and desperate for some Nekter in my life! I walked right in Saturday morning and was thrilled to see there was not a line. No, just several customers waiting for their orders. Clean as other Nekter locations? No way, the tables were sticky as heck. I ordered my usual strawberry banana smoothie and strawberry banana acai bowl. The bowl by itself deserves 5 stars! The smoothie tasted weird...just slightly off. I prefer other locations since I only get eh smoothies from here. The staff was alright this time around, but the girl was totally confused when I asked about their vegan ice cream. She acted like she had never heard of scoops before or couldn't tell me the prices. Eventually I was able to learn the flavors and get a sample of the blue one. Ohmygosh, it is SOOOOO GOOOOD. A few years ago my mother and I walked in here for a delicious bowl, but was presented with the most nasty customer service. As if the cashier didn't want to take our order. They weren't busy. Now, 3 years later, my aunt and I were passing through and stopped by. The girls didn't say anything nor offered service. One was busy. My aunt asked if we can make our order only to be hit with an ugly come back with 'I'm busy'. Nothing else. I got the Pumpkin Almond Bowl the other day, and ate it for breakfast this morning. It was so good! I recalled from last year when the Pumpkin Almond Bowl had starberries, raw pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, and I think the granola was regular. Now, the Pumpkin Almond Bowl is really different. It's more on cinnamon, red apples, raw pumpkin seeds, and different granola. For those who are planning on going to Nekter, the Pumpkin Almond Bowl only happens during Fall season. I support businesses run by good people, and the "manager" was completely disrespectful. She would not give me her name of course, she must not be proud of her behavior. She kicked me out immediately after I bought my drink because Instead of walking straight out, I was attempting to be helpful and suggest d some trending, healing herbs as additions to their menu to help set them apart. I was not promoting any products, or seeking any form of personal financial gain in anyway. Only sharing information that heals. This "manager" is a horrible representation of your company and her actions are not aligned with the movement of human beings coming together to share information that helps each heal through natural means. Starting last week, the Health Nut drinks changed and now have unsweetened chocolate chips in them which slightly changes the texture of the smooth peanut butter, but you can always ask them to take it out. I love the customer service here-- I didn't really enjoy my Banana Berry Burst drink because I felt that it had tasted too watery, but Shannon (the business owner) offered to give me a full refund for it, which I thought was really nice. read more

Nekter Juice Bar was good but not great. I felt the customer service was bland at best & there were multiple women working at once. They seemed too busy talking & joking around amongst each other to deliver good service but like I said, it was bland & not necessarily bad. My husband & I being in the health & fitness industry love that there are more healthy options around now, but we do enjoy when places can make healthy taste amazing. We got a pitaya bowl, an acai bowl & a tropical green smoothie...they all tasted healthy in the sense that the average person would rather just eat bad. I love pitaya bowls but theirs was just okay. I can usually get them down quick because they taste so good but I had trouble wanting to finish mine. The same went for my husband & the smoothie we couldn't finish at all. It says there was fruit in the drink but it tasted like a garden. I'll give this place 3 stars. If my husband was dieting for a bodybuilding competition, it would be great. The ingredients are clean & didn't taste bad. If you're going for incredible tasting healthy food, then I'd try another option. I've been in here twice since my previous unhappy review and I'd glad to say that my thoughts have been turned around. The staff has been pretty great, albeit not over the top friendly (which is totally fine) but definitely not the opposite either. I've gone in the last 2 times on Friday afternoons at around 12:15 and one time it was busy, the other time it was dead. So I guess its just hit or miss. I still would think that this location is better than the Brea one, although I havent been to the Brea one in a long time so I dont know if they are still playing their loud shitty club music. This La Habra location plays music but its not overly loud so thats a plus. read more
