I'm addicted to this place. This Frutilandia is located Gilbert and is connected to a Taqueria Factory. The menu is so big and has so much good stuff on it. The staff is always helpful because I can never decide what I want. Fruitilandia is known for their Mexican desserts. Their menu has all types of desserts like Aguas Frescas, milkshakes, ice cream, shaved ice and tropical fruit drinks. The drinks are so colorful and full of all types of fresh fruit. I love the Raspado and Mangoneada. They also have popular Latin street food items like Sonoran Hot Dogs, Elote, nachos and carne asada fries. I recently tried the Masedonia and I think that may be my favorite new drink. Fruitilandia has locations all over the Valley and have become one of my favorite spots for a late night snack. read more

I will randomly crave this place at times and luckily its no too far from me. I have had their fresas con crema, frozen fresas con crema, escamochas, and ice cream. Everything taste wise has been pretty consistent. They serve Thrifty ice cream which is my absolute favorite. The escamocha is always pretty good and the fruit tastes fresh. The fresas con crema, both regular and frozen are bomb. We always make sure to add condensed milk, granola, and coconut. Service is ok. Sometimes they are friendly and sometimes they are not. My FAVORITE spot for ice cream in Mesa. They have cheap priced scooped ice cream that is the BEST cookies and cream ever!! Well let's just say after coming to this location a few times we will not be returning. We normally get just drinks and strawberries and cream. How ever this time we decided to get food to try it out. $54 dollars latter we had chips and salsa, wife had 3 tacos, a soda, and I had the large quesadillas with carne, and a Chamoyada (like I normally do). The food was maybe 5/10 at best. The Chamoyada was rock solid and looked terrible. I asked why it looked the way it did and the girl with a bad attitude said "that's the way it comes" as she walked away. I explained to her as she was clearly bothered by me asking, that I get the same thing often and it never looked that way. She again said "well all our stores make them the same". So I asked for a refund. I was given $4.99 for a drink that cost $9.25-$13.50 plus tax. As you can guess we will not be back to this location. read more

No change to my 5 star review. If any thing, this is a confirmation that this place is even greater now with this new location on Gilbert road. It's so spacious, with new decor and enough space for a lot more people than before. It's also very clean. I tried their mango Aqua Fresca, my new obsession, and it was great with small pieces of fresh mango. I also ordered a mixed fruit bowl for my daughter which was huge! Everything was so refreshing on that hot afternoon. They have signs to social distance when lining up to order and their prices are pretty reasonable. I absolutely loved the Strawberries and Cream I got! You could tell the strawberries were fresh and they loaded them in there, so I had plenty to get me through. It also wasn't that sweet, which surprised me. This is definitely a perfect choice for strawberry lovers like myself! On the other hand, my girlfriend got the Dulce Churro. The churros had caramel in them and were delicious! Unfortunately, the ice cream was way too sweet and there was a ton of it so it overwhelmed the overall flavor. For the food itself, this place would get 4 stars, but a star was lost due to the staff. When we were ordering, the cashier had a lot of attitude towards us. She seemed very irritable and annoyed and was trying to rush us when we were asking questions even though there wasn't anyone in line behind us. Also, the guy that was handing out the completed orders kept winking at me even though I was clearly with my girlfriend. He first winked when we went to grab our desserts. I thought I was imagining it, but then he winked again when I went back up to ask for more napkins. This was not appreciated and was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I only come here for one thing. Corn! They have Corn in a Cup with Cheetos! Their ice cream drinks are pretty good too. Too bad they don't have a drivetru window. I used to really like going there, last time I went, we ordered a bunch of things, with my family ,one of them was mangonada. The mango was hard. I don't even touch it. Send it back ask for my money back they said I will have the money back in my account in five days when I ask the cashier for receipt of the return she gave me some weird received. It didn't even show that the money guy return just as I expected. Never got my money back so they lost a customer for $12 dls I didn't even go back to talk to them again to me. It's not worth my time but very dishonest on their part. read more

Came with friends for Mexican style desserts. Inside is clean but smelt overwhelmingly of sanitary chemicals. Menu is colorful with many interesting sweets and antojitos. I ordered the pina coolada and my friends ordered the dulce churro, strawberry raspado and tosti elite. My Pina coolada was more coconut and condensed milk in taste. The strawberry raspado was sickeningly sweet and syrupy. The dulce churro was also sweet but at least the churros were fresh and warm. Tosti elite was tasty however. read more

But this weekend I came here to get some frozen strawberries and cream , I have been to other places that chop the ice into squares to make it easy to eat. One can never go wrong with ordering the Pecan flavored raspado with a scoop of ice cream on top. Other notable things to get from here are the Agua frescas, any flavor of the thrifty ice cream, and the Tosti-lote. My husband wasn't nearly as impressed, and my son had a hard time finding a sauce he liked. He ended up eating only half of his bowl. Unfortunately, the price was hard to overlook. Spending over $50 for three bowls and drinks felt expensive. Add in the loud music and an employee who acted like I was inconveniencing her when I asked for a different sauce, and it took away from the experience. For me personally, the food earns high marks, but as a family restaurant, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'd come back solo if I was craving Mediterranean, but probably not with the whole family.

We sat at a table close to the door. Service (5/5): Friendly service and we were fortunate enough to chat with the owner for quite a bit. We learned about the history of the dessert spot and how they're trying out some new ideas. Nice lady. Drinks (N/A): No drinks for me on this visit. Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!

Frutilandia is my FAVORITE place to go grab a snack or something to eat ...I honestly I can't have enough of their "Carne Asada Fries" they're my absolute favorite meal to eat , even tho i love everything they serve l recommend my friends and family members to try this amazing place! And for sure they wont be disappointed. Terrific customer service they have in amazing team that treats you like family. This place is the best kept secret in Phoenix, everything they have is just amazingly delicious. I recommend the Strawberries and Cream and add a scoop of Thrifty Ice Cream you'll be wondering why you didn't know about it before! Their Raspados (Shaved Ice) are made from fresh fruit. This place has some great food and some great ice cream. My favorites are the unicorn shake and their hamburger. They make the absolute best hamburger! My friend gets their sonoron hot dogs which take time to make but are completely worth it. The only issue is that sometimes they're so busy they forget your order. If that happens though, they'll make sure to do their best to correct the situation. read more

This is by far my favorite place to grab a quick snack or even a meal at. They have a huge variety from candy, fruit, smoothies, burgers, raspados, strawberries and cream and many more. I've visited this place many many times.I love the fresas con crema and the Tostitos locos are very good too.Service is wonderful staff is nice and place is very clean and well maintained.Its a little bit pricey than other places but at the end it's well worth it , very authentic Mexican treats. read more
