A great addition to the Canyon Crest plaza! I came here with my boyfriend during their Grand Opening since there was a promo for a $1.00 16 oz. juice or smoothie of your choice. It was definitely worth it since they normally cost around $5.00! I got the Pink Flamingo and I was expecting it to taste sweeter, but I understand that their juices and smoothies are meant to be on the healthier side. I still enjoyed it though and I thought the color was super cute! I'm not sure if I would come back here often since it is pricy, but I will definitely go out of my way to come back if they have any promos! The girl who finally started making my order could not have moved any slower, she looked like she absolutely did not want to be there. By the time I got the my bowl the place was filled with a whole new crowd of people and all the people (about 6 or 7 orders) had already been served and left. It was my first time at Nektar and I went around 9am to treat myself to a Pitaya bowl. And let me tell you. I'm not usually a fan of Bananas but it complemented really well with the Pitaya, the coconut flakes and the granola topped off with agave. It was delicious and it gave me energy to help me throughout the rest of my day after a weekend of partying. Customer service was on point as well, I was greeted with a nice welcome and a bright smile. The ambiance inside of the store is nice and some place I'd hangout at to study or to chill, just like I did today. I love Nekter Juice Bar! My go-to smoothie is the Health Nut with almond butter and added strawberries. Their menu consists of healthy drinks and bowls. The service is always fast, and the workers are always very nice and informant on what to try on the menu. I would give Nekter a 5/5, however their menu is expensive. Every time I get my smoothie it's around $10, which is really expensive. It's a great place to go, however a tad too expensive to make a habit out of. Came with my son and sister and my sister recommended her favorite drinks so I ordered the health nut for my son and I got the banana boost. I took a sip and immediately was not pleased it had an awful flavor and no hint of banana with booth drinks but mostly the health nut. My 8 yrs old son couldn't drink it and said he would rather have mine. I was even in shock as I didnt like mine either. So we changed his drink to a banana boost and as I tasted it it didn't even taste the same as mine. Totally different flavor. After a few sips I realized why they tasted sooooo funky, I had a chunk of banana come up my straw and WoW!!! It was totally not riped and had that unripened flavor ...yuk. my sister tasted all of them and was sad that the 2 drinks she loves were so awkwardly flavored. As for both the banana boost.. I had to suck it up and drink them as no point of changing it since any drink with banana would have been a dissapointment. Finally a Nékter Juice Bar in Riverside! I have been waiting for this location to open and it finally did this week! I've been going to Nekter for years in Orange County and I am super excited that they are finally in the IE near my work! It's a great location in Canyon Crest, super easy to get in and out of quickly! Simply put, Nekter is so popular for a reason, they are just the best at what they do! They use pure unsweetened Sambazon frozen acai berries in their acai bowls, which is why they are such high quality and taste so great! My favorite is the Superfood Bowl with all the extra goodies like goji berries, bee pollen and hemp hearts! It is a little more expensive for the Superfood one, but it is worth it! The prices are really pretty reasonable for the sizes and quality of the products! Much more affordable than other juice places. I really love the fresh juices too, my favorites are the Buzz, Greenie and Sublime! The cool thing about Nekter is that you actually get the full amount of ounces of juice and the ice is extra, so if you ask for ice, you aren't getting ripped off, they just put your juice in the next cup size up and add ice!
