More akin to a breakfast panini, the gooey fluffy egg and cheese, crunchy bacon, and bright onions were perfectly supported by two slices of crunchy, crusty toasted sourdough. Such great flavor! The iced maple latte was a bit on the sweet side but still very much enjoyed it. TBD on the scone, but judging by how busy it was, it is gonna be great! Service: Friendly group passionate about what they do! Ambiance: Small town, comfortable bakery where I assume all the netizens gather.

I've been a huge fan of Red Hen for years. If I could live on their baguettes alone, I would. I…read morehadn't been to the cafe in several years, but found myself close today so I stopped in for a to-go sandwich. It's always been busy when I've gone, but wait times aren't very long and the staff is pleasant. Needless to say, I got home and inhaled my turkey on a baguette. The only thing I think is a little bit of a bummer is the lack of more "traditional" topping options. I like my sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The cafe does not offer tomatoes and only has pickled onions. Would be nice to have a little more choice when building your own sandwich. That said, I'm still a big fan and would get food from there again in a heartbeat.

We chose to sit on the outdoor patio which is by far the best place to sit. Get to hear the sounds of the river going by. This dining location is the best thing about the store. We ordered a turkey sandwich, a vegetarian wrap, and some chicken tenders. The food itself was actually pretty tasty, nothing special but certainly not bad. What kind of was odd was the service. So they said they would bring her food out to us and someone came out with three wrap sandwiches put them on the table and said if you want utensils or napkins they're inside. Just seen God to us that it you're going to say you're going to bring food to the table you can bring out some napkins and utensils. The food itself was very expensive. Lunch for three of us came out to you $71 and all he just got was one sandwich or wrap and one bottled non-alcoholic drink. I'd go back if I was close by with friends and looking for a nice place to sit and eat but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there

This place gets slammed during the winter holidays. It's one of the few restaurants in town that…read moredoes not take reservations, which we love, since we aren't good at getting our act together in advance for reservations most of the time -- but wait times can be very long. Pizza remains good, with an enjoyable, crisp, thin crust that falls somewhere between St. Louis style and New York style. It make the kiddos happy especially when they do their own builds -- a pesto base for one kiddo, marinara for the other. In years past, we had issues with over-salting and over-cheesing. Not this time around. Salads are a bit meh and small and overpriced for what they are, but ah well. I never seem to remember the lesson! I know staff were working hard, but b/c of the crowds, there were long waits and little check-in. We had to flag folks down for more water, a delayed dish, and at the end the check. Next time: takeout!

Thankfully this place had a bar, so the wait wasn't bad... we even talked to another patron who was also waiting; he was extremely kind and we had a great conversation! Parking was easy and the lot is a fairly decent size. Staff was extremely busy, so it took a little time to actually order to go (we weren't in any rush!). The restaurant is definitely a locals' spot where people hangout or takeaway. The pizzas are quite large and what we ordered was pretty good! We definitely had left overs. I can't say it was the best pizza we had, but it definitely helped the cravings. *THE PIZZA-PIZZA: Red Sauce, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Sausage, Green Bell Peppers, Red Onion: Big (16") $27. In the end, I can say I would be back to try other dishes.
