The salon has a homey feel and it's clear that the staff enjoy working with Laura, the owner. Beverages are freely offered/given ~ including wine in the evenings. When my former stylist left, I was referred to Renee and I've been happy with her skill and personality. Heather provides a top-notch manicure. I always look forward to my appointments. I just moved here and was looking for a new person to cut my hair and this place had good reviews so I called and scheduled. Even though I was hesitant because of the expensive price. I booked anyways and went in and had my hair cut by katie. It was probably the worst haircut I've gotten. The layers were terrible. It was exactly what I didn't want. I don't plan on going back. I was referred to Neo Bella about a year ago by a friend, and am so happy I found my stylist Pam! She had a baby recently so I have been getting my hair cut by Katie the past few times, who also has done a great job. I have pretty simple requests, I usually just get a trim with long layers, no coloring. While it is a little more expensive than I'd like considering I don't get much done, I have yet to find a place that does this great of a job for less. While I agree the exterior is unimpressive, the plus side is the strip mall is never crowded so parking is always easy. Friendly service, enjoyable atmosphere and talented stylists, I'd definitely recommend Neo Bella to anyone looking for a new salon. I'm going to be moving into the city soon and will probably still come out to the suburbs just so I can get my hair cut here. read more

This was my first experience with this salon. I prefer to patron a small business. I walked in and was greeted with a smile by the owner and offered the best chai tea. Lisa cut and styled my hair. She patiently listened to my needs. I only got a trim and layers but very satisfied with my cut. She was sweet and engaging. Price wise is about what someone would pay at a quality salon from $40 and up. I had called another high rated salon and they were charging $70. Needless to say I choose this one and recommend. I called for the first time late on a Monday afternoon, and lucked out that Monica had a cancellation that evening! My long, thick hair hadn't been cut in a couple of months, and I was looking for a good trim, texturizing, and shape-up. She did a GREAT job - just what I asked for, and we had no communication blockage ... in other words, Monica listened to me and actually understood what I was saying! Neo Bella restored my faith in stylists. After a haircut/color that left me in tears at another salon I was weary of trying someone new. After my first appointment I was hooked. Robert's color techniques are flawless and I have never been so impressed and happy with my color, it grows out well and lasts as well. I have pretty long, thick, wavy hair and Pam is a genius. I've had my hair done at many upscale salons with wonderful AWESOME decor, and it's a "Frankly Scarlett" for me. All I care about is the stylist, colorist and service. ALL is FIVE STAR HERE!!! I have been a couple of times this year and keep returning because I ALWAYS get compliments on my cut and color when I go here....isn't that what people are looking for??? As for value??? If you're looking for high end stylists/colorists, you will NOT find a better value. I would say it's 25% LESS than what I've spent at other salons. I am an extension, color client and Monica my stylist is an absolute master at her craft. I had extensions prior to coming to Neo Bella and had had a bad experience. Monica completely put me at ease and listened to my concerns and patiently answered all my questions. The finished product far exceeded my expectations. Her color matching of extensions to my natural hair was unbelievably impeccable. I have never had a colorist that was able to obtain the exactly the shade of blond that I was trying to achieve, prior to Monica. Simply put, She is the best stylist I have ever had. I'm going to add another piece to my review. Pam now has two adorable sons and isn't working as much so Katie now cuts my hair when Pam isn't available. It's great having two stylists working on my hair. They each cut just a smidge differently, but my hair looks great no matter who does it. Dana now does the keratin blowout on my hair every few months. It's the best thing since sliced bread. My hair does not like humidity and has some cowlicks and wavy parts. When Dana is through, my hair is soft, dries more quickly and I don't have to flat iron as much. My previous nail tech went on vacation and I needed someone to fill in. Heather is allergic to acrylic, so in steps Christine and I now go to Neo Bella for yet another service. I get compliments on my nails the day before I'm due for a manicure they look that good! Do NOT recommend! This salon changes products constantly. I will not be going back especially since they just switched color lines for the 3rd time in 6 months! My hair color comes out much different each visit.. One of the products made my scalp burn and itch for 3-4 days. The new one doesn't burn but my scalp itches for a couple of days and the color fades very fast. My stylist does a OK cut job, but she is slow. Their prices are very high and just not worth it. The owner is not honest about the changes and tries to cover up everything. She keeps changing products and color lines because she gets free stuff from the various vendors to try their products. The clients are the ones who suffer....just isn't right. At one time they used a color line by Goldwell and it worked great....no irritation, conditioned, color was beautiful and lasted long. I spoke with 2 other customers who agree wholeheartedly. They stopped going to this salon because of this, and I plan to find another salon too. With so much competition out there, they really need to get their act together. read more

I've been here 3 times for myself and took my 3 year old son once. Lisa did all the cuts. I loved this place and recommended it to multiple friends. The first 3 visits were wonderful. And I was very happy with the cuts. This last visit was a disaster. I called for a cut and color I even explained what I wanted to the person on the phone. Upon arrival I was told I could only get a cut because they must have scheduled me wrong. Then they said I could make another appointment for a color later. I have always gotten my hair cut after the color so I was already annoyed. I asked for 6 inches off and I wanted it layered and angled. I ended up with a straight cut and it was horribly uneven. When I styled it the next day I had to recut the front and had to go to a friends to have her fix the back. When I left they said I could go back to have it fixed if I didn't like it but I have a 3 and 1 year old. I had to pay a babysitter to go the first time. I didn't feel like paying another babysitter. I will never go back. I took pictures of how uneven it was. I will upload them later. read more
