Every wine we tried was good (we're Gruet fans), although we were surprised there was no St.Vincent on offer. In fact our servers had never even heard of it??? I haven't seen another gallery with such an extensive and great mix of photographic exhibits such as the amazing 60's counterculture and rock photography of Lisa Law to Kisa Kavas' hauntingly beautiful work of wild and domestic rescue horses. I also love seeing  David Michael Kennedy's intimate pictures of famous musicians and Native American culture. All of the artists I've seen there are deep and accomplished. I've learned a lot just by looking at the work at Edition One Gallery. I also appreciate that the work is available at different price points making it widely accessable. Thank you!

One question she asked me, which really shouldn't make any difference to her, was "Was I staying at the hotel or a local?" I told her I was local. I was able to get a seat by the fireplace, which was very nice. She proceeded to help other patrons, however, somehow ignored me. I was probably there 20 minutes or so. I walked out... I have gone there in the past when a very nice guy is working the bar. I think his name is Jeremy. Anyway, I will only come back when he is working.

There's this scrappier, slightly rough-around-the-edges feel compared to the newer installations, and I think that's part of its charm. We actually went out of our way to visit New Mexico just for this, which says a lot - and I'll say it was worth it. However it did leave wishing for a bit more, especially knowing how expansive and polished the newer Meow Wolf locations have become. But in a weird way, it made me appreciate the evolution of the experience even more. You can really see how much the artists and teams have grown across locations, and how much love and intention is going into what they're building now. This location certainly helps you understand the whole Meow Wolf story a little better!

They do have a bar out front to the side before you enter as well and a gift shop. I have attended their other location in Las Vegas, so it was fun to compare it to this location and see how different they are all around.
