I told her it's a drive for me coming from Henderson and advised to try this location...the young guy that answered the phone was such a sweetheart and very kind advising we could come in the same day since he has some openings and once my niece got there with her Daddy's urn the guy was so sweet asking for our loved ones name and took the keepsakes and the urn to fill the em. He returns a short while to tell us the urn was sealed (oh no) we didn't even think to try and open it but, did some research and it's not uncommon to do, so we are back to square one and hopefully we can contact the original funeral home to see if they can unseal it for us or to lead us into the right direction. Simple Cremations has always been amazing, I went to the location off Rancho when my grandmother passed and they handled everything beautifully and could not be more thankful, no one wants to deal with losing a loved one but, this place is the best to use when that time comes...thank you again for the kind hospitality of the young guy that helped us.

So early this morning, they gave us a call, and we set up an appointment for later in the day. When we arrived, we were seated in an almost like meeting room with all kinds of urns scattered about on different bookcases and shelves. Laura went over everything in great detail and answered all our questions. What I really liked was that she presented options, but was not pushy in anyway. I gotta say I feel that their pricing was very good. How often do you need a service like this and when the time comes do you know everything you need to do to take care of closing down accounts, etc. etc. They really helped with the transition and feel better about everything after going. They do only work by appointments. We will see if they make all their timelines as far as us getting our death certificates and the ashes of our loved one but as smooth as everything has been up to this point, I gotta think there will be no problems on the backend. They are located in Henderson near Water Street on Lake Mead Parkway. Easy access and easy transition.

My sibling was at Davis but they are pricey so this is their sister company and half the price. Sophie wasn't there when we went but we met with Lauren and she was so nice and explained all the pricing and we picked out a beautiful urn for my brother. Also I sent the obituary to Lauren for memory cards and she made beautiful memory cards and actually detailed it using stuff from his obituary. These people are the most caring and wonderful people I've ever dealt with. My cousin was a veteran and we planned on burying him at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder city. After leaving nine voice messages and because the Memorial Cemetery is so busy and overwhelmed in these Covid times no one called us back. The Director at Casa de Paz drove out to Boulder city and went far beyond the call of kindness to secure us a plot for my cousin. All the staff from the top down were so wonderful and the price was very fair ( thousands less than other places), I don't know why anyone would go elsewhere to have a wake and a burial for their loved one. Most of our family is back east And the elsewhere throughout the country and weren't going to travel with this Covid pandemic. So Casa de Paz set up a zoom stream so all of the family & friends could login and view the wake and military honors ceremony just as if they were sitting in the chapel.
