Let me say this, planning a Funeral is Like planning a wedding but, in a rush! My mom passed away a few weeks ago and I needed a funeral home that could accommodate my family in a timely Fashion because alot of people were flying in from out of town. I am so thankful I found this place. The Palm really makes you feel like family. From the time you walk in Kimberly greets you with soo much kindness and compassion its truely infectious. Our coordinator Karen was Phenomenal, we were able to knock out all the Funeral arrangements within just a few hours, and she helped me will all my decision making from Start to finish. Karen established an excellent rapport with us and kept us in the loop with all the fine details regarding my mom. Karen is kind, caring and extremely organized, definitely a plus! The Day of the Funeral, Angel and Steve were in charge and made sure everything ran smoothly. They both are the real reason why the Palm truely exceeded my expectations! They made my guest feel welcomed, they helped with set up and clean up, they checked in with me every few minutes to make sure I was ok or needed anything. They kept things in line and on track and I am soo grateful for them being there. They are the extended relatives you want at EVERY family function. The Palm even has a reception area and a list of Caterers you can utilize, the food was delicious by the way. It was and excellent touch for my hungry guests who attended the Service directly after work and those who flew In. The Palm is your ultimate 1 Stop Shop! The Festivities didn't end at the ceremony, the cremation process was finalized by Joe Palmer, who gently handled my mother's remains with so much love and care, he even escorted my mom into my car himself, placed her urn in the seat and put her seatbelt on. He is a genuine Sweetheart! Karen is currently helping me with the process of sending my moms Ashes to the Philippines, the fact that they also provide this service is such a great help. Coming into all of this, I felt scared, lost and helpless but the Palm helped ease all of my anxiety with their level of EXPERIENCE and PROFESSIONALISM. Back in July 2023, prior to my husband and I updating our wills, I completed an online inquiry for pre-planning with Palm Mortuary. The inquiry was actually prompted by several deaths of close family and friends that took place earlier in the year, seeing how their loved ones were unprepared to make final arrangements. Anyway... I don't think it took more than a day for a representative to get back to me, scheduling an in-person meeting within the same month. Mary was our representative, joined by a colleague at the actual meeting. Silly me thought it was just working with Palm Mortuary, but I guess it's just a branch for a network. The actual "business" provider is Dignity Memorial, and I say network because our reps said we could actually transfer our burial plots to a different state if we changed our mind about being laid to rest at the Palm Boulder Highway location. As Mary and her colleague said: "Like for like." It was definitely an eye-opening experience with the pre-planning counselors. They drove and walked us around the property, showing us the different types of burial plots they have. We even got to see the expansion plans for the location. Appreciated the way they listened to what ideas we had, which definitely helped for the larger conversation after the friendly chat and tour. In terms of our own funeral arrangements, we were simply looking to be cremated and laid to rest beside each other, then go from there. *SIGH* Sadly, we were also told during our tour that our beloved dog's cremated remains would not be allowed to be interred with us. Oh well. Mary and her colleague walked us through a pre-planning program that asked us questions beyond the burial arrangements, such as the reception requirements that could also be paid for ahead of time. Going through those steps, our estimated total was well above the $15,000. Instead of making me more uncomfortable, they helped us narrow down the arrangements to get our basic needs met that came down to around $11,325 that pretty much covered our cremation, burial plots with specific cremation jars, and the county and state taxes. There was also the deposit that needed to be taken care of that same day, which I believe was $1,200. Someone might be gawking at the amount of money we agreed to, and yeah... It's a lot. That larger amount is on a payment plan that's available through the provider, so our future "forever home" should be paid off within 5 years. Fine print on that payment plan: If we pass away before our arrangements are paid off, the provider assumes the loan and would hold our family to immediately pay off the remaining balance. Just a detail to keep in mind for those that are pre-planning. As of right now, we're pretty content with our decision and are grateful to Mary and her colleague for helping us with all this. I appreciated their transparency, empathy, and light-hearted humor to making us feel comfortable. All this will hopefully make it easier for our loved ones in the future. read more

Most unprofessional cold hearted people I've ever dealt with showed no concern messed up so many other special memories. My mother's favorite color was pink everybody wore pink I walked in to the chapel and her casket had red flowers on it. My mother hated the color red it took two hours into the service before we got flowers. Her beautiful pink silk pajamas had stains on them , I don't have the strength to list all of the mistakes they made. They offered to only compensate for the mistake on the flowers. These are memories we will never be able to relive. The funeral Director took no responsibilities. She said everything was out of her control. She should have been there. That is her job. They advertise serving this great community since 1926. They were hired to perform a service they Showed no remorse no sympathy no sorries , The funeral Director Should have been there first thing in the morning to make sure Her clients were very well taken care of. Instead, she hid in her office for four hours, and would not come out to consult us. We asked for her attention several times. We finally had to walk the halls and track her down ourselves. I would not Ever want anyone to go through what we had to experience on this very sad day, so no thanks to Palm mortuary ! Make sure you review all information that you give this mortuary and that they understand the family's requests. Our family did not want an obituary published and made that quite clear; an obituary was published on Palm Mortuary's website and it contained errors. I have buried both of my parents and was at least given the opportunity to review and correct and errors I found before it was published. Not the case with Palm Mortuary. read more

I initially posted a poor review here for this business. After dealing with Joe today, I am happy to say that they made everything right. I am very relieved that we went out today. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience and I would recommend Palm. This location has been here a long time and I now have two generations of relatives here. It is peaceful and nice. Came here today to pay respects to a very good friend who recently passed away. His family setup a memorial in one of the rooms which was elegantly decorated with pictures and items that represented his life. It was a living room setting which kept all of the family and friends relaxed.....just as he would have wanted it to be. We celebrated his life and shared stories of him that brought smiles and laughs......we all use to get together on Thanksgiving, so it was appropriate that his memorial was the day after Thanksgiving. The staff here is very accommodating and helpful.....the facilities are very nice as well. His family was very pleased with it. I hope I never return to this place.....for obvious reasons. read more

I'm writing this review because of the security guard tonight. We visited after hours for special circumstances knowing we aren't allowed in there at night but this was very important to do tonight. He was so kind and understanding. He allowed us to go to the grave well he escorted. My brother has been there since 2007 but this gentleman sure stands out from the rest. I don't typically write many reviews on products or services unless they are extraordinary and worth sharing. My experience with Palm Mortuary was nothing short of amazing. I worked directly with the Family Services Director, John Bomarito, and he provided a very personal yet professional level of service. I was truly impressed with the care and compassion he showed to my specific situation and to my boys with the loss of their father. Every step of the way he assured me that all our needs would be met to our expectations and followed through to do just that. He was very detailed with the financials and all the arrangements, and very responsive to all my concerns and questions. The quote I received did not match the initial quote I received 3 months earlier as they since had a price increase. However, since my son did not even get his dad's remains back until 3 months after the passing, and we were just now able to work on the arrangements, they honored the original quote. Our father recently passed away. He had arranged everything ahead of time to take place at Palm Mortuary at 800 S Boulder Hwy. He had moved out of state a couple of years before and because of that, the arrangements for my dad were initially quite complicated. My brother and myself found true compassion and a genuine willingness to help us through all the details and rough patches that arose during this time from Dara Carno, Location Manager and Funeral Director at Palm. Dara took on so much of our stress and worry so that we could concentrate on saying goodbye to our dad. I can't thank her enough for what she did for our family during this time. My son passed in March of 2001. It was a really nice ceremony held at the Mortuary on Eastern. I have only one problem, the care takers of the grounds are rough when mowing. They tear up urns and leave them. I have gone to pay respects to my son and find that not only are the flowers gone after only a few days and the lights I put on there are stolen. Something has to be done to provide theft from occurring. read more
