Started my plan in June 10th 2020, never received urn, never billed, emailed them July 20th with no response to determine status , finally located number to call. Called to cancel account due to no longer trusting and had to wait for a callback. Received return call only to be told I will NOT get my deposit back due to it being over 30 days AND I must write a letter of cancellation in order to NOT end up in collections. Was also told URN and statements have been sent to my home (which I have NOT received) which is suspect due to the fact that I have no issues getting all of my other mail and packages. Disappointed in the lack of follow thru for auto payments, upset that they do not see that the issue is NO CONTACT from them since inception of contract and I should be able to get my deposit back for a contract that was never honored. This is not something anyone really wants to deal with, yet I have to start over and find another plan so as NOT to burden my children when the time comes. BE CAREFUL FOLKS IF YOU THINK NEPTUNE IS AN OPTION!!!!!! read more

My experience with the Neptune Society exceeded my expectations!! It's hard to lose someone and I lost a Fill in Mom, Friend, Partner in Crime, Housemate for many years and someone that loved me unconditionally. Her name was Betty (aka GMAW) and she and her husband Jake joined the Neptune Society in 1989. Jake passed away in 1999 and the Neptune Society was our saving grace then, just as it was when Betty passed. She passed away about 2AM and I was told the Neptune Society arrived to pick her up by 4AM. I received a call from Joanna Dewey that afternoon and she was kind, compassionate, professional, calm and she listened!! I couldn't have asked for more!! I would highly recommend The Neptune Society!! Additionally, the request was put in long ago that Betty's Ashes would be returned to me, just as Jake's were. My parents had their own pre-paid burial plan. At the unexpected time when my father passed, I thought that my parents' planning was the greatest gift they could have ever given to my siblings and me. Right then and there I decided that my husband and I needed to plan ahead so that our children would not be left with the burden of planning and paying for our final resting. Neptune Society was highly recommended by a hospice which our daughter worked for. I could not be more pleased with the service provided by Neptune, Phoenix/Tempe. My husband suddenly passed away about a month ago. Neptune was contacted immediately. Ramon Villagomez and his staff handled everything including ordering the flag from VA. Ramon and his team were caring, prompt to answer my calls, and were very professional. My husband's remains and death certificates were ready in a timely manner and sooner than we expected. We were referred to Neptune Society by a friend of ours. I was immediately grateful that I was able to speak with Susan Rogalski. She was not only kind and supportive, she was also informative and patient. She took the time to listen to my story and listened with care and empathy. She answered every phone call I made and every email I sent. She kept me updated every step of the way. My in person meeting with her when I picked up my parents urns was a very touching moment. Everyone was exceptional from start to finish! Beginning with the night supervisor who answered my questions concerning the process when a Medical Examiner was necessary and to the person who would be assisting me through this process. Ramon was patient, informative, and extremely compassionate. I also spoke with Norelle (i hope that's how she spells her name), once again, with numerous questions. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful and has a great of humor. Kirstie was the last person to whom I spoke. She assisted me in finishing their services with decorum, poise and comfort. Bernie Scarborough passed away in New York City - with loving family, but far away from his beloved Arizona. Ronado Maynez of the Phenix/Tempe, AZ office helped us step-by-step for all of the details that are so painful at a time like this. My grandparents used Neptune Society in Southern California so we were very comfortable having them do my father in law's cremation. He was pre planned so we didnt have to do much. He died at home and they were very respectful it was our private space. My mother in law was surprised at how little she had to do. I didn't realize they ask for a picture so that was a little hard since he changed so much from his last picture and how he looked at death. Other than that, everything went very smooth and we had him back in about a week. We used Neptune Society in Colorado as well so this is a company we trust. read more

My mother passed away in July she had a prepaid plan and everything went very smooth and we were very pleased! Then unexpectedly our daughter passed away in November and she was a donor and was transferred to Phoenix and the Neptune Society works closely with them so I called the funeral director Ms. Shyla and she set everything up for us and again we were very pleased! The price was reasonable and the service was excellent! keep in mind different state offices get involved like the coroner and the office that processes the death certificates so you have to allow everything to fall into place and it does! read more

Thank you, Caitlin, for making this process as easy as could be. My wife went into hospice care and passed away three weeks later. I contacted Neptune Society, and the staff was kind and caring. All I needed to know was explained to me. There were no last minute "by the way" items. What was explained at the beginning was what happened in the end. The staff that came and picked up my wife were gentle and respectful. It was very comforting for me and my children as she was taken away. I lost my mother to COVID last month and was told by the VA that Neptune Society was the best in the Phoenix area. My mom was a veteran and passed at the VA Medical Center in Phoenix. Susan was my point of contact at the Tempe, AZ location. She was very kind and always answered my questions promptly via email and by phone. I live in NC and having to tend to things out of state can be challenging, but she made it very easy. Mom is home now as of last week and we will plan a memorial soon. I want mention that the Neptune society was amazing. My father lived in Arizona and I live in Northern CA. So my dad's remains had to be shipped. The mail carrier went against protocol. When I informed the Neptune society they were outraged and stepped up and fought for the respect my dad deserved. My dad is safe with me.
