My husband and I purchased a business that had a contract with Neptune Water Solutions. However when we purchased the business we purchased the assets of the business (the equipment, hardware of the business) we did not purchase any of the debt of the business and any contracts that were in the previous owners name had to be changed into our name because our business was a new corporation and this in order to continue the contract the contract needed to be in the name of our corporation and not the previous owners. All other providers the previous owner contracted understood this and happily opened up contracts with us in our corporation name because like I had mentioned before when we purchased the business we purchased the assets of the business but not any of the debt which included contracts that the owner owed or was in contract with. Neptune Solutions continues to try hold us to the previous owners debt. They say we owe them for charges that we did not make prior to us having ownership of the business. So, we informed them we would not like to continue a contract with them and to please pick up the equipment. They refused to do so!! They sent us to collections, and we informed collections that we purchased the business and this debt was in the former business owners name, and collections agreed with us and promptly closed the collections (especially since the amount was like 500+ dollars). Seeing this Neptune solutions, decided to open up the account again and start charging us again (to have a higher amount to collect on since the 500-+ charge was too small) but get this, THIS TIME THEY WERE CHARGING US FOR SERVICE ON EQUIPMENT THEY DID NOT COME OUT TO SERVICE. Since 2021, we took down their equipment, it doesn't work, and no one has come by. We've asked them to pick it up, and take it with them, and they refuse to do so. The one time someone came out he also refused to take it. It's been sitting unused for 2 years. Color me surprised when we received a new charge for January 2023!!!! And even if they wanted to argue they came on the premises and serviced without us knowing we have cameras and have footage that shows that they have not been to our business in 2 years. So the charges on its face do not have any merit and further go to show the deceptive practices they will employ to get money out of a small business. I am quite surprised I have to take it to these Lengths. We have been trying to get out of this contract for at least 2 years but they refuse despite the contract is not in our corporation name and we've asked nicely to please let us out of the contract. All of the charges they've made and included on the invoice were charges they fraudulently made because we have not used their system since 2021. If you are a small business RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN. They use deceptive practices to keep taking money from you. We've emailed and asked nicely for them to take the equipment and let us out of the contract since we did not sign a contract with them and they continue to hold us to this contract even though we did a asset purchase and NOT A STOCK PURCHASE. Please do not do business with them!!! We've tried for 2 years to settle this. But they have not serviced anything or taken their equipment. read more

I appreciate that filter service is less frequent that I expected, and when the time comes, the technician is in and out in less than half an hour. Wow - I can't say enough great things about Neptune Water Solutions. I have been drinking their water for over a year now and I wouldn't hesitate to use them for your business needs. From my experience, their service has been reliable and the water tastes amazing. I like having hot water available too - as I drink a lot of hot tea. It's important to me to know that my water is pure - and filtering out all the gross stuff that is in tap water these days. I try to not drink tap water as my neighborhood's tap water has a strange off white color - gross! That leads me to 2 options, buy bottled water or use a filtered water system. I chose a water filtration system, because that is better for the environment and really bottled water is just filtered water anyways - that's stored in plastic. I'm not sure if I trust the plastic containers that bottled water gets stored in - who knows, that could be adding plastic to my water. Eek! read more

Our small dance and fitness studio switched over to Neptune Water Solutions from another water service provider and we're very happy with our decision! Everyone that we have spoken with and met has been very friendly and professional and always gives us concrete answers to all of our very detailed questions and concerns. We've called multiple times since signing and have always gotten the same folks on the line, so it feels like we're dealing with an actual local company. The water cooler is fantastic as well. Our previous model dispensed water more quickly but it ended up leaving lots of water in the drip tray, which had to be manually emptied every day. The controlled output of Neptune Water Solutions prevents wasteful spilling. To those complaining about the 5-year contract, it's pretty standard practice for this type of service. Is it for everyone? Of course not, but always read before signing! read more

Ridiculous business practices. An employee of ours without authorization signed a 5 year contract at $45 a month. That is several thousand dollars for a water cooler you can buy at Home Depot for $249. We closed the office and were forced to pay an early termination fee. Avoid these guys like the plague if you can. Total rip off. read more

5 year contract terms are justified by "free installation and ongoing maintenance" by their sales manager Charles L. The rental contract states "this agreement cannot be terminated or cancelled for ANY REASON". Be prepared to buyout the contract for the remaining term. Oh, and expect a $150 "pick-up fee" upon termination. The contract is very careful to leave ZERO responsibility to Neptune with regard to maintenance or service. So, when you have a moldy unit that was not serviced correctly or consistently (not sure which since they won't let me see the service records) be prepared to have no recourse in terminating the contract due to Neptune not holding up their end because they have nothing to be held to! The moldy unit we have would suggest maintenance is not as frequent or thorough as it should be. When I asked what the manufacturer specs are on maintenance I was told they were not required to provide that to me, even though the contract requires the customer to adhere to those specifications. Nor are they required to send me the log of service dates they provided. Over-the-top lousy customer service, by the Sales Manager no less. Never again. NEVER AGAIN. Buyer beware! read more

We are leasing a drinking water machine from these people. After 3 visits to make the water drinkable we finally got a letter from them saying they would pick up the machine, charge us the remaining amount for the lease contract plus $150 pick-up fee. . . and all we've been trying to do is get the water machine to stop making strange bad tasting and smelly water. I would NEVER work with Neptune Water Solutions if they were the last company providing water. Nor would I work with the leasing company they do all their contracts with, Pure Health Solutions (PHS). No service was done on our machine unless I called and requested it. Even then it took a very long time to get someone out here. The water tastes worse out of their machine than the tap water at this point. When a new company came out to quote us for water, their test concluded the water from our tap is better than the machine we pay alot of money for. When closing the account I called PHS, who told me to call Neptune, called them and they had to "get around" to sending the final buy out, once I got that had to confirm it with PHS and send PHS a check. Then had to call Neptune to get the machine picked up, then was informed I had to call PHS back to find out the confirmation number and get it all in writing because the girl at Neptune had alot on her plate so she didn't know when she would get around to it. Called PHS and I need to email them to ask for the confirmation number, now I am waiting for a response to call Neptune back to get the machine picked up, we will see when that actually happens. We are on month 4 of just trying to get this disgusting machine out of our office. Save yourself some hassle and find a company who knows something about customer service and what actual clean drinking water is! read more

I work for a small non-profit in Berkeley. I received a sales call from a Neptune Water representative who gave me the impression this company had bought out Quench, which is the company we had our water service from for several years. They came and installed new water dispensers which we do not like because the drip tray is too narrow and you have to hold a cup or water bottle in place while you fill it or it will fall off. Now I am informed we cannot cancel the contract unless we pay for five years of service. What a scam. read more

We were told that it could not be cancel without paying a penalty, our employee was told he needed to sign for a repair service but it was a Dirty Trick, they had him sign a 5 yr contract and he is not authorized enter into any contracts. We absolutely loved our filtered water system for our business. Sadly, we had to let it go, but we enjoyed it while we had it. My business used and enjoyed our water system for three years. Neptune auto-renewed using our credit card without advice or confirmation twice, and now are insisting we pay the contract in full prior to them picking up, a contract we did NOT agree to nor realize was in place. In addition, they are charging us a $150 equipment pick up fee to take their machine back which they won't do until they are paid in full. Quite frankly I'm horrified. Water without the hassle of bottles is nice, but the way they've ended the relationship ensures we will NOT do business with them in our new location. We have a Neptune filtration machine at our warehouse and the water it filters is amazingly good. I've used water bottle systems before similar to the ones you can buy in the store but they simply don't compare to the reverse osmosis process inside the Neptune machines. Our non-profit has 3 Neptune water coolers, installing one as recently as a couple weeks ago, and have been very pleased with their service. They are responsive and recently fixed an out of service cooler quickly. We really appreciate our contract with them and would recommend them to other organizations. read more

Neptune does not support S. Cal or residents any longer which is a shame as they are a reputable company. I am trying other Water Purifying vendors now but have not found one to my liking as yet. read more
