Definitely one of my favorite boba shops to come to whenever I'm in the 626 area. The only drink I would recommend getting here is the Hokkaido Black Tea which is the milkstache and not the milk tea. From my experience, most places only have a cheese cream but not Hokkaido cream which is what makes Nest Tea so special. The drink does not come with a lot of ice which is what I appreciate about this place. With the yelp check in, the price came out to $3.80 for a regular size which is very fair. In terms of the venue, there isn't a lot of seating. I used to enjoy coming here to study for an hour or two before work but it gets crowded really easily. The WiFi is good and the restroom is clean so what a shame. Overall, I would recommend coming here if you want to grab and go. read more

Size is perfect for me because I can't drink that much and prices are under $5 which is nice. There's a parking lot with tons of spots, they have tables inside and outside, there are plenty of outlets, and there is one gender neutral restroom. Drinks here tend to be too sweet for me and I always get 50% sweet. My go-to drink is a rose milk tea with boba. My second favorite drink is a green tea with mango jelly. Their mango jelly is in the shape of stars! so cute! Their top 10 drinks are posted on the wall. Currently watermelon is not in season so no watermelon juice available. There are also paper menus available next to the register and they do have a stamp card so don't forget to collect your stamps! All the times I have gone were on the weekends or later at night so parking was not an issue. This location is hard to spot from the street but its is at the very back of the parking lot on the other side of the big lot's plaza. This place is located at the very end of the corner of the plaza, it's kinda hidden but you will see it. They close pretty late which is a plus! When you walk in they have top drinks listed which I like because I can choose from there then from the entire menu. I chose their top first choice the Hokkaido milk tea and adjust the sweetness level, the lowest quarter sugar. I don't like my drinks too sweet so I really like boba places that are able to adjust the sweetness level. I also added boba in my drink. My boyfriend ordered milk tea, quarter sugar. The drinks came out super quick and my drink was better than I expected, their Hokkaido drink doesn't taste powdery and the sweetness level was perfect for me. I think if you are deciding between black tea and green tea with hokkaido milk foam I'd def go with the black tea since it has a bit more depth of flavor and there is more contrast between the tea and the foam. The drink is definitely flavorful still even at half sweet. What I like is that they have a special creamer making it a little more thick in consistency. Honey Chrysanthemum- This drink was something that reminding me of my childhood. I really love chrysanthemum a lot due to it being very floral in taste. Just an okay tea place but the strip mall is pretty empty so parking is a breeze! The store was pretty full on a Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't too loud so you could have a boba and study there. COVID-19 Edition Review One of my top favorite Boba Shops in the 626! Nest Tea House has been around for years since I was in high school like 10 years ago which says a lot because I've seen boba shops come and go but Nest Tea manages to stay and continues to thrive. Social distancing is enforced and there are markers on the floor on where to stand in line 6 ft apart from one another. All the staff wears wears and gloves and hand sanitizers are provided in the front of the store where you pay. My favorite drinks from here are the Hokkaido Milk Tea (50% sweetness) and Hokkaido Green/Black Mustache (50% sweetness)...basically anything Hokkaido here, get it. Their tea flavor doesn't taste artificial and are brewed exceptionally well. Their Hokkaido is top notch, it's super creamy and sweet and rich in their flavor. It's kinda like eating a milk candy but in dream form. I've tried their other drinks and they're all delicious as well. The only drink that I've tried and didn't like was their Guava Green Tea which taste super artificial to me. I know it's one of the top drinks that they sell and I LOVE guava but I think it's a hit or miss for me on how people make it; it could either be really good or really sweet and artificial tasting. Unfortunately it was a miss for me at Nest Tea, but at least their other drinks make up for it. They have a pretty big parking lot and I have never had any problems with parking. This is one of my favorite spots in the 626! The drinks are very consistent every time I've come and prior to COVID times it was a great study and hangout spot. There were a decent amount of tables, but were almost always filled especially during peak hours and exam season. However the service is always phenomenal, workers are friendly and efficient. They usually got my drink out in under 5 minutes, unless there was a rush of customers. I've tried many drinks here and confidently say their tea flavor is very strong and prominent. I personally find their FRUIT teas to be very sweet and would recommend getting 50% sugar or less. Otherwise think their milk teas aren't as sweet and just perfect. For reference, I generally get 50% sugar at most places but get 25% sugar here! My favorite fruit teas here are: passion fruit green tea, peach green tea, grapefruit green tea, and hokkaido milk tea with pudding! The syrup doesn't has any weird artificial aftertaste and the fruit and tea flavors are both apparent even with less sugar. Overall a very solid spot and the prices are great! On a warm Saturday my friend and I were doing a social distancing date at the park and got thirsty. This shop was within walking distance so we figured we go on a mini adventure. It was a bit hard to find since it's tucked deep within the plaza, to the side of Ho Kee Cafe. Luckily my friend had been here before. Masks required when entering this facility. The server at the cashier made sure to speak clearly and repeat our order since having masks on makes it a bit more difficult to hear. I've been finding that not all places do this, so having her repeat my order made me feel like she cared about getting it right. My friend ordered the passion fruit green tea and I ordered the guava green tea. Mine had a very fragrant and rich guava flavor. It definitely tasted like the real fruit. 75% sugar was a good choice. Otherwise I think it might have been too sweet and overwhelm the guava taste. In this area, I'd recommend coming here on your daily stroll. High quality tea with no artificial tastes to it. This place is located in the corner of a really small plaza, has plenty of parking, and when you walk in, has a nice aroma. Staff is fast and efficient. You'll get your drink within 2 minutes of ordering. During pre-covid there are usually many people chilling here studying/doing work. Interior design is clean and minimalistic. As for drink variety, there's a drink for everyone, from creamy milk teas, to fruity green/black teas with chewy boba that could probably have a little more flavoring, and if you can't decide, they have a top 10 menu to choose from. On top of that there is a 10% yelp check in discount you can use daily. The total for one drink will come to under five dollars, which seems to be more rare these days around SGV. For the price you pay for the quality of drink you get, I would say this is one of the better deals for your buck around 626. Nest tea has been my go to place for the last couple of months. Mainly because they close at 11. Inside is very spacious, so it definitely makes staying 6 feet apart manageable. I have tried their honey milk tea, grapefruit green tea, and their lychee green tea. Not a fan of their honey milk tea as it has one of those grass jelly like after-taste. But I love their lychee green tea. It has a good balance of of both flavors, and the level of sweetness is perfect. The grapefruit green tea tastes like how it's suppose to. I haven't had Nest Tea House for a while so I decided to drop by. But, I'm disappointed. The drinks are exceedingly mediocre. I tried the earl grey milk tea and taro milk tea. The scent associated with earl grey was essentially nonexistent. The taro tasted like powder mixed with some real tea. I've been visiting this place a lot for studying. The things I look out for when I scope a place for studying is: 1. Is the lighting bright enough? 2. Is the music/noise not too loud? 3. Are the seats comfortable 4. Is it easy to get a table This place has all of that except #3 (the seats are metal so they ain't the most cushy thing my butt has hugged). It's actually easy to get a table if you come early but if you come at like 2-3pm or later, it can be difficult. Now about the drinks! The drinks here I can tell are higher quality than most other boba shops I been to. They seem to really know how to add the "tea" essence in their milk tea drinks.You can actually taste the "tea" and not just the sugar/milk/boba that most other drinks overwhelm you with. Their most popular drink is their Hokkaido Milk Tea and I can see why it's so popular. They only really specialize in tea drinks, so if you want juice/slushy type of drinks, this isn't the place for you. This place looks very clean overall as well so I feel comfortable for being here for a long time.
