My absolute favorite is the hokkaido green tea milkstache with 70% sugar, the tea flavor is strong with just the right amount of sweetness to bitterness. I also like getting the sea salt green tea or the guava green tea. Occasionally I get the rose green milk tea which is also amazing. I like black tea a lot, but Nest Tea's drinks tend to be pretty caffeinated which is why I stick to the green tea. I would say the service is tolerable, nothing special, but they always make my drinks exactly as expected, which is most important to me. I usually see groups of friends hanging out, as well as people studying when I come! In my opinion, it's a little loud for studying unless you come in the early afternoon. One of my go to boba spots in the area! Nest is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. This a study-friendly spot with plenty of tables and seating. It does kind of get crowded on the weekends but that is expected! One thing to note is that sometimes their boba isnt ready even after 1.5 hours since opening. Depending on who is there, boba will be ready once it opens or at 12:45pm. Usually the wait isnt worth if boba isn't ready since it won't be soaked in the syrup long enough yet. As we drove eastbound on Las Tunas the other day, remembering our experience with this "interesting" escrow company at the front of the small shopping center, I noticed Nest hidden in the back... made it as far as Bradford before I blipped a fitch and went back in for a drink. No wax sealer here; Nest seems to cater to a slightly more sophisticated connoisseur of milk teas and bubble teas who fancy a regular snap-on plastic lid. Creature of habit that I am, I ordered up a boba nai cha, and they looked at me like I was made of cheese. Every now and again, I meet someone who refuses to believe I know a little Mandarin. Or maybe my accent stinks. Either way, I went with a Hokkaido milk tea... which traditionally mixes several dark teas with that caramel-ey, brown sugary sweetness of fresh milk. Pretty poppin' at 9PM on a Saturday night, though luckily there wasn't a wait when I went. Interior is a bit lacking compared to other boba shops. SO got the Hokkaido MT ($5.40). It had a coconutty and flowery aftertaste which was offputting. Improved when the ice diluted the drink. Boba was pretty good as it was soft and chewy. I have seen this boba shop numerous times on my social media, and I have longed to try it! I got the strawberry black tea (with quarter sugar and boba), and my boyfriend got the peach green tea. My tea was pleasant! It wasn't too sweet, and I enjoyed the strawberry bits in my drink. I thought that the boba was at a nice chewy consistency. My boyfriend's drink was delicious too! Updating my previous 5 star review. The tea is still fresh and delicious, but I'm dropping to 3 stars because they got rid of their stamp cards. I come often enough that getting a free tea every other month or so was a big perk and kept me coming back. No reward program/incentive at all will definitely lower them on my list of go-tos. Been here a few times before and have always loved their tea-- the flavor is so strong and always refreshing on a hot day. This place is also study/work friendly as there are large tables, lots of outlets, and a restroom. The music was not blaring loud and it's quite peaceful and encouraging to be surrounded by other working peeps. I ordered the rose green tea and it's probably the strongest green tea flavor I've tasted in a tea shop-- which I personally prefer. I only wish they had a lower baseline of sweetness level. The 25% sweet felt like a 50-75% sweet in other tea shops and my friend thought her 75% sweet was wayy too sweet as well. BEST HOKKAIDO MILK TEA!!! The first time I had it I was wowed! Perfect sweetness level without adjustment (not very sweet) and perfect creaminess and flavoring. After having this, I couldn't have other places Hokkaido milk teas. I've had it with boba and the boba is on the chewy side. Also I asked for no ice since I got it at night and know I wouldn't finish it and the employees let me know it would not be cold rather slightly room temp/ warm and I was fine with it. Nest Tea House is located in the Arcadia Center. It is located off to the side near the back, so it can be a bit hidden. There is plenty of parking in the plaza as well. I tried the Green Milk Tea with boba, Mango Green Tea with boba + milk cream, and Watermelon Juice with boba + milk cream. The green milk tea had a good creaminess, but it had a weird tea aftertaste to it. The mango green tea with cream was on the sweeter side with an artificial mango syrup taste to it with a slight green tea taste. The watermelon juice with milk cream tasted like fresh watermelon juice with a nice creaminess addition from the milk cream. I recommend the watermelon juice with boba and milk cream. read more

Super generous!!! My brother picked me up a jasmine green milk tea with boba no ice. And they still filled it up all the way. I came by Nest Tea last Saturday on 7/10/2021 for a quick drink on a hot day with a couple of friends. The store clean, nicely air-conditioned, with a few chairs and seating available. Location: Nest is located in a small plaza right next to the Big Lots on the corner of Las Tunas and Baldwin Ave. We had difficulty finding parking so we ended up parking in the Big Lots lot right next door. I used to come by Nest Tea during high school, post grad, and it's great that the shop has stayed opened (props esp in an over-saturated boba area in sgv!!) even throughout these years. I've tried their Guava Green tea, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, amongst a couple of other drinks. My favorite drink is the Guava Green Tea since it's not the most common flavor, but unfortunately, the store was out of it that day. Drinks:  I ended up ordering a Peach Green Tea ($4.15) - Reg Sugar, Light Ice while my fiance ordered a Taro Milk Tea ($4.25)- Reg Sugar, Lt Ice. The drinks were definitely a fairly reasonable price (considering the fact that you can expect to pay $5-6+ for drinks now) and prepared in a timely manner. Both drinks were too sweet and this is coming from someone who orders everything 100% sweet. The Peach green tea had a nice peach flavor and you could definitely taste the tea so it wasn't just drinking flavored peach water. I would recommend 75% sweet. However, the drink was still refreshing on a hot hot day. Anyways, I thought my drink was sweet but the Taro milk tea was even sweeter... like TOO SWEET LOL. I would definitely recommend not ordering full sweet. I honestly couldn't really taste much of the milk tea but couldn't get over the fact that my mouth was just full of sugar. Tip: *Remember to check in on Yelp for a 10% discount.* And be sure to use their stamp card. 1 free drink after 10 stamps. All in all, I'd come back and am surprised at what took me so long to come back after all these years. There's definitely a sense of nostalgia after each visit. The rose milk tea was good ( I got 50% sugar and still sweet but gladly still mostly tea), the boba what whatever. What I loved about this place though was how late it opens, the tables offered to hang out and the extremely friendly service I got. They even had paper plates and spoons for my friend when we surprised him for his birthday! I don't know the area and this was the only thing open for his availability this late at night (10ish pm). Hands down my go-to boba place in the Arcadia area. Parking can be a bit tough when it's busy but I've always been able to find a spot whenever I am. Great place to study or just catch up with friends! Downside of this place is that space is limited inside and it can get a bit noisy if you're trying to study. Quality of drinks here are great and boba is good as well! They do offer stamp cards so don't forget to ask! Also you can get a 10% off your order when you check-in on Yelp! I usually get a large Honey Black Tea with no sugar (the honey is already sweet enough for me). This drink is the right amount of sweetness and it's strong so it gets me going on late nights when I need to study :) I've also tried their Hokkaido Milk Tea which was good as well but I suggest going down on their sweetness level! I was on the search for Almond Milk Tea in Pasadena, so I was scouring through boba tea shops and their menus and I knew this place did NOT have Almond Milk Tea, but my driver still took me here on accident when we agreed on somewhere else. He felt bad, but the cashier was SO friendly and welcoming that I decided to stay and place an order. I only drink two types of milk tea and usually, every boba tea shop has Thai Tea, which they did, so we got two of them. Like I said in my first sentence, I was NOT disappointed. When our order was ready they called our number and we grabbed our drinks. They have sanitizer where you get your drinks as well as two types/sizes of straws! Nest is one of the better tea houses in 626! My go-to is the peach green tea. It's the perfect amount of fruitiness combined with tea flavor. Love this location for how spacious it is for a catch up or study / work session. Service is usually good though weekends can get busy. If you're in a rush, definitely call to place a phone order in advance. Make sure to call the right location as they also have a location in San Gabriel. Upon my arrival, I looked for their overhead electronic drink menu or their top drinks but neither one exists. Thus, I end up looking at their paper menu at the counter. As far as visual is concern, I think they were grappled with a dearth of interior creativity. As I perused their drink menu, I almost immediately looked for fruit flavored section. And I dare say they have a decent variety of tea drinks and toppings. Moreover, prices were very reasonable and utterly competitive. I end up ordering the Honey Chrysanthemum Green Tea (100% ice + 75% sugar) with grass jelly. It was flavorful, refreshing and taste great. Similarly, grass jelly was soft and sweet. They offer a regular and large size cup. Service was fast. Staff were nice, competent and followed health protocol. Free Wifi. Finding a parking spot was easy. You'd think this would taste good, and you're right it does. For at least the first few seconds, but then you realize the drink made your mouth taste like your Grandma's flower garden. The aftertaste is so flowery that it's like I'm just eating straight petals from a flower. If it was a bit more subtle, I think the drink would be much better. I navigated here after finding this place on my Yelp app. This coffee shop is somewhat hidden from the main road, located toward the back of the shopping plaza in which it sits. Fortunately, parking was not hard to come by. I walked in and checked out their menu. I asked them if they offered an iced latte, and they told me they did. Once I got my drink, I made my way back to the car, and proceeded on my daily commute. When I took a zip of my drink, I realized it tasted a bit off. Moving west from Baldwin Park Nest Tea serves as the "Stateline" to the mecca of SGV boba/tea. By Stateline I'm referring to the drive to Vegas from to So. Cal. For lack of a better analogy...Nest Tea is "Whiskey Petes". The casinos at the Stateline all have gambling like the casinos on the strip, but there is no wow factor to write home about. This is Nest Tea. The drinks are solid and they get the job done, but I have never had anything that was too memorable. If you are in the area and need to get your fix this would work. On another note, my dentist is in this plaza, and I also lament the role sugary tees have had in the slow but steady destruction of my enamel and gums everytime I have an appointment.
