Also I asked for no ice since I got it at night and know I wouldn't finish it and the employees let me know it would not be cold rather slightly room temp/ warm and I was fine with it. Nest Tea House is located in the Arcadia Center. It is located off to the side near the back, so it can be a bit hidden. There is plenty of parking in the plaza as well. I tried the Green Milk Tea with boba, Mango Green Tea with boba + milk cream, and Watermelon Juice with boba + milk cream. The green milk tea had a good creaminess, but it had a weird tea aftertaste to it. The mango green tea with cream was on the sweeter side with an artificial mango syrup taste to it with a slight green tea taste. The watermelon juice with milk cream tasted like fresh watermelon juice with a nice creaminess addition from the milk cream. I recommend the watermelon juice with boba and milk cream. read more

I've frequented Nest Tea House since they first opened about 10 years ago... I miss some old items, but the Thai Tea is always my favorite and with 25% sugar. Boba had a bit of a rubbery taste, which I don't prefer. Better than average texture. Hokkaido milk tea just wasn't good and tasted of barely anything. I really couldn't tell you what it tasted like because nothing stood out to me. $7 for this was not worth it at all. Service was nice and drink came out quickly. I came by Nest Tea last Saturday on 7/10/2021 for a quick drink on a hot day with a couple of friends. The store clean, nicely air-conditioned, with a few chairs and seating available. Location: Nest is located in a small plaza right next to the Big Lots on the corner of Las Tunas and Baldwin Ave. We had difficulty finding parking so we ended up parking in the Big Lots lot right next door. I used to come by Nest Tea during high school, post grad, and it's great that the shop has stayed opened (props esp in an over-saturated boba area in sgv!!) even throughout these years. I've tried their Guava Green tea, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, amongst a couple of other drinks. My favorite drink is the Guava Green Tea since it's not the most common flavor, but unfortunately, the store was out of it that day. Drinks:  I ended up ordering a Peach Green Tea ($4.15) - Reg Sugar, Light Ice while my fiance ordered a Taro Milk Tea ($4.25)- Reg Sugar, Lt Ice. The drinks were definitely a fairly reasonable price (considering the fact that you can expect to pay $5-6+ for drinks now) and prepared in a timely manner. Both drinks were too sweet and this is coming from someone who orders everything 100% sweet. The Peach green tea had a nice peach flavor and you could definitely taste the tea so it wasn't just drinking flavored peach water. I would recommend 75% sweet. However, the drink was still refreshing on a hot hot day. Anyways, I thought my drink was sweet but the Taro milk tea was even sweeter... like TOO SWEET LOL. I would definitely recommend not ordering full sweet. I honestly couldn't really taste much of the milk tea but couldn't get over the fact that my mouth was just full of sugar. We came to this place by accident but I was still not disappointed. I was on the search for Almond Milk Tea in Pasadena, so I was scouring through boba tea shops and their menus and I knew this place did NOT have Almond Milk Tea, but my driver still took me here on accident when we agreed on somewhere else. He felt bad, but the cashier was SO friendly and welcoming that I decided to stay and place an order. I only drink two types of milk tea and usually, every boba tea shop has Thai Tea, which they did, so we got two of them. Like I said in my first sentence, I was NOT disappointed. They have a cute interior with trendy, upbeat music. The cashier offered a stamp card as well, which means they have a reward system for returning customers! When our order was ready they called our number and we grabbed our drinks. They have sanitizer where you get your drinks as well as two types/sizes of straws! Nest is one of the better tea houses in 626! My go-to is the peach green tea. It's the perfect amount of fruitiness combined with tea flavor. Love this location for how spacious it is for a catch up or study / work session. Service is usually good though weekends can get busy. Hands down my go-to boba place in the Arcadia area. Parking can be a bit tough when it's busy but I've always been able to find a spot whenever I am. Great place to study or just catch up with friends! Downside of this place is that space is limited inside and it can get a bit noisy if you're trying to study. Quality of drinks here are great and boba is good as well! They do offer stamp cards so don't forget to ask! Also you can get a 10% off your order when you check-in on Yelp! I usually get a large Honey Black Tea with no sugar (the honey is already sweet enough for me). This drink is the right amount of sweetness and it's strong so it gets me going on late nights when I need to study :) I've also tried their Hokkaido Milk Tea which was good as well but I suggest going down on their sweetness level! I came here so much for the past 7 years and the service was so nice before and I talked to the owner quite a few times and he was very friendly and kind and made me so comfortable but today we're have a bad experience due to the cashier girl with long black hair. She seems so young and inexperienced and is not good customer service at all. She was so rude and didn't even greet us. Upon my arrival, I looked for their overhead electronic drink menu or their top drinks but neither one exists. Thus, I end up looking at their paper menu at the counter. As far as visual is concern, I think they were grappled with a dearth of interior creativity. As I perused their drink menu, I almost immediately looked for fruit flavored section. And I dare say they have a decent variety of tea drinks and toppings. Moreover, prices were very reasonable and utterly competitive. I end up ordering the Honey Chrysanthemum Green Tea (100% ice + 75% sugar) with grass jelly. It was flavorful, refreshing and taste great. Similarly, grass jelly was soft and sweet. They offer a regular and large size cup. Service was fast. Staff were nice, competent and followed health protocol. Free Wifi. Finding a parking spot was easy. You'd think this would taste good, and you're right it does. For at least the first few seconds, but then you realize the drink made your mouth taste like your Grandma's flower garden. The aftertaste is so flowery that it's like I'm just eating straight petals from a flower. If it was a bit more subtle, I think the drink would be much better. Once I got my drink, I made my way back to the car, and proceeded on my daily commute. When I took a zip of my drink, I realized it tasted a bit off. I don't know what kind of milk they used, or what kind of coffee they actually put in my drink. But it sure didn't taste like any iced latte I usually get. From my experience, most places only have a cheese cream but not Hokkaido cream which is what makes Nest Tea so special. The drink does not come with a lot of ice which is what I appreciate about this place. With the yelp check in, the price came out to $3.80 for a regular size which is very fair. In terms of the venue, there isn't a lot of seating. I used to enjoy coming here to study for an hour or two before work but it gets crowded really easily. Moving west from Baldwin Park Nest Tea serves as the "Stateline" to the mecca of SGV boba/tea. By Stateline I'm referring to the drive to Vegas from to So. Cal. For lack of a better analogy...Nest Tea is "Whiskey Petes". The casinos at the Stateline all have gambling like the casinos on the strip, but there is no wow factor to write home about. This is Nest Tea. The drinks are solid and they get the job done, but I have never had anything that was too memorable. If you are in the area and need to get your fix this would work. On another note, my dentist is in this plaza, and I also lament the role sugary tees have had in the slow but steady destruction of my enamel and gums everytime I have an appointment. Nest is my sisters faaavorite cafe (she loves the hokkaido milk tea and the guava green tea). I got the honey green milk tea and it was GOOD. Super flavorful tea with a strong taste of honey. Size is perfect for me because I can't drink that much and prices are under $5 which is nice. There's a parking lot with tons of spots, they have tables inside and outside, there are plenty of outlets, and there is one gender neutral restroom. Workers here are pretty friendly and give out stamp cards with your drink. They play music and it can get pretty loud in case anyone minds. read more

Their mango jelly is in the shape of stars! so cute! Their top 10 drinks are posted on the wall. Currently watermelon is not in season so no watermelon juice available. There are also paper menus available next to the register and they do have a stamp card so don't forget to collect your stamps! All the times I have gone were on the weekends or later at night so parking was not an issue. This location is hard to spot from the street but its is at the very back of the parking lot on the other side of the big lot's plaza. This place is located at the very end of the corner of the plaza, it's kinda hidden but you will see it. They close pretty late which is a plus! When you walk in they have top drinks listed which I like because I can choose from there then from the entire menu. I chose their top first choice the Hokkaido milk tea and adjust the sweetness level, the lowest quarter sugar. I don't like my drinks too sweet so I really like boba places that are able to adjust the sweetness level. I also added boba in my drink. My boyfriend ordered milk tea, quarter sugar. The drinks came out super quick and my drink was better than I expected, their Hokkaido drink doesn't taste powdery and the sweetness level was perfect for me. The drink is definitely flavorful still even at half sweet. What I like is that they have a special creamer making it a little more thick in consistency. Drinking it, I still get the sweet and also the tea flavor. Definitely recommend if you want the real thing compared to the milk tea popsicle! Honey Chrysanthemum- This drink was something that reminding me of my childhood. I really love chrysanthemum a lot due to it being very floral in taste. Yah it is not milk tea but I definitely crave it due to it being something from my childhood. I got this drink with 25% sweet and dang I still taste the chrysanthemum taste which was definitely a plus! If you are down for a non caffeinated but refreshing drink, this would be the one especially on a hot day because it keeps your body cool! Overall I definitely like this place a lot! Food/Pricing - Drinks are one size and about $5 something without toppings. I got the Earl Grey Milk Tea with lychee jelly. It was good! Though I wish I got it without toppings so I could taste the tea more but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Service/Ambiance - The staff was okay, not super friendly but not rude either. Just an okay tea place but the strip mall is pretty empty so parking is a breeze! The store was pretty full on a Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't too loud so you could have a boba and study there. I ordered their Hokkaido milk tea with boba since it is the most popular drink on their menu. I would recommend going for light ice because I opted for no ice, and the drink was warm, which was unexpected!
