I had a good experience at Savvvys (Pasadena). I ordered the Savvvys Special ($7 - 16oz - Iced). It's coffee with agave and cinnamon powder. It's clean, crisp, & chill coffee. I felt awake. I arrived at Savvvys (Pasadena) on Sunday (around 2:20PM). Parking is stressful; it's all paid parking. There's a nearby Parking Garage that says $5 for 24 hours. There's also pay toll machines that charge 25 cents per 12 minutes (2 Hour Time Limit). Staff is polite and professional. Staff is composed and efficient. When asked if they could clean a table, Staff immediately helped. Staff also answered all my questions. My coffee took two minutes and 53 seconds. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Savvvys Special ($7 - 16oz - Iced). It's functional and delicious. I appreciated its strength, and the flavor of fresh coffee & cinnamon is pronounced. The coffee is not bitter nor too sweet; rather, it flowed like silk. TASTY! On ambiance, Savvvys (Pasadena) is lovely. I appreciated the cleanliness, greenery, and displayed artwork. The location has about eight tiny interior tables. And the seats are plush and comfortable. There's also utility at Savvvys (Pasadena). There's customer internet with password; details are written on the counter's transparent display. There's also about seven electrical outlets. WOW! The location is filled with studying/working customers. There's even a self-service water station in the corner. I also appreciated the soft music. Overall, I had a good experience at Savvvys (Pasadena). There's quality and charm at this business. If you're searching for another study/work spot in Pasadena, this is an easy recommendation. 4.7 out of 5

Very cute spot in a Pasadena alley, only thing is the parking but otherwise I really like the vibe. You can stay here for a while and chill or walk around on a hot summer day. The drinks were nice and we came here for the SGV passport deal. Overall very nice

If you're looking for a productive getaway, this cafe offers a beautifully relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for knocking out some homework. I spent about two hours here enjoying the quiet vibes before the afternoon rush brought in a wave of other laptop users, turning it into a focused, communal workspace. The Highlight: The absolute standout of my session was the Matcha Baby Blue. It was incredible, balanced, refreshing, and visually stunning. It was so good that I've already decided I'll be back to work my way through all their different matcha combinations. The Verdict: Whether you need a serene spot to start your day or a modern environment to power through some projects, this place hits the mark. Great vibes and even better drinks, the Matcha Baby Blue is a total game-changer!

Came here with my best friend on a Sunday morning. This spot is tucked away in the heart of Old Town Pasadena in an alleyway right across from Edwin Mills by Equator. Lovely little spot with greenery all around. I love me some Ube so I automatically gravitated towards the Boo Berry Crumble. I loved it! It was delicious! I ended up ordered it with oat-milk It was definitely blueberry heavy, which I didn't mind. I enjoyed the texture. Enjoyed the drink and the vibes! Service was excellent, the ladies were sweet! Hot tip: come in the early morning on Sundays. Free street meter parking before 10 or 11am.

What a beautiful coffee and pastry shop! I see the term Instaworthy used a lot these days, but these are one of those places that truly deserve it. More importantly, the drinks and pastries here are good. Full disclosure, I came here, trying to hit up another new pastry spot in the area. But the line was down the block. There was no way I was gonna wait in that line so I found this spot on a quick search. It's almost criminal that there was no one at the shop and it was so close to the other spot. I will say this place doesn't have a lot of visibility from the main street because you'd have to walk in a little bit down, sort of an alleyway with other shops and eateries. The person behind the counter was really, really friendly and helpful. I was able to get my drink (Savvvy's Special) pretty much right away and the Matcha & Pistachio croissant was really delicious. I was on my way to meet up with some friends at their house so I wasn't able to sit here for very long and enjoy the serene and beautiful setting. Definitely a big fan of this place and would love to come back soon.

We came by to redeem the Savvvys promotion from the SGV passport. It was for a BOGO free on any drink purchase. They are located in the Mills Pl alley area. We came by on same Sunday as the Rose Bowl Marathon so it was very busy. The location has spacious dining areas outside and a few tables inside the shop. The staff was very personable and kind to us. She noted customers periodically use the SGV passport from time to time. We decided on the Savvvys Special and Matcha Chaga. Both of them with Oat Milk. They do offer all kinds of milk alternative bases. Our drinks were completed within minutes and we enjoyed them outside in the patio. IMO, both of them were stellar. The perfect blends of sweetness with the proper amount of caffeine to boost you up for the day! Of the two, I enjoyed the Savvvys the most and would order it again. Savvvys is a great place to kick back and enjoy some coffee and matcha! Check em out! ( ^_^)b

The shop is so cute and great of photos. Staff is friendly. The drinks were great actually ! They had very unique flavors I haven't seen at other coffee spots. I got the lavender coffee and you can really taste the coffee and it wasn't too sweet. I'm going back there today after I write this review !!

Easy to find, friendly services, great outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. Lady lavender (4/5) tasty and strong Strawberry chocolate scone (2.5/5) I'm not a scone person but this sounded delicious and was hoping it would change my mind but it didn't. Overall, I would come back and try their other drinks and pastries.

BOGO thanks to SGV passport :) Rose Matcha Latte and the Cinnamon Latte! The drink was not bad and tasted good. It's very cozy and a vibe in the coffee shop!

The blueberry drink was really good! Hard to find seating. They were out of stock for the lavender latte and we tried the mushroom pastry which was just ok.

Such a cute spot with nice outdoor and indoor seating. The ordering area can be cramped during busy hours but you can easily wait outside after. Ordered the Savvvy Special which basically tastes like a honey cinnamon latte. It wasn't overly sweet which I liked and had a good balance of the espresso. Overall a good spot and I would come again

So we were able to kill time until then! Located next to Honey & Lavender, parking lot available in the back, not that small! Once seated, we got to order the California Benedicts and the Country Fried Steak. It actually didn't take too long for our order to arrive, which we were surprised they are very quick and efficient with service! Although, the food was very underwhelming. California Benedict was pretty basic, or just the bare minimum actually. It was okay, ingredients don't really stand out. My bf's country fried steak, he was disappointed that the steak didn't even look fried. He wasn't really a fan of his order lol. I thought the potatoes were pretty decent, although I wish they were cut smaller into like breakfast potatoes. They were so chunky, but also wish they could be fried more. Overall, I feel like we chose the wrong items from this place lol, but these were the items highlighted on the Yelp page? Maybe it didn't help that we were seated next to the kitchen or a cart full of dirty dishes bc I just kept smelling that as we were eating.

Our food took quite a while to arrive, close to 30 mins! But the staff was very apologetic and even brought us a complimentary muffin while we waited. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious. I swapped the bacon for tofu, and it made for a satisfying breakfast. However, my husband wasn't as impressed with his brisket burrito, saying it was a bit dry. When I ordered a matcha, the employee asked if regular milk was okay, and I said oat milk was fine. However, I was never informed that oat milk was an additional $1 charge. She also never asked what size I wanted and then told me to pay. When I looked at the screen, I saw that the total was $7 for a large. I only wanted to spend around $5-$6, so I asked if I could get a small instead. I was surprised to see that the price was still the same. When I asked why, she then explained that oat milk was a $1 up charge and she didn't charge me on the large order for oatmilk. I don't mind paying the extra dollar, but I feel customers should be informed about an additional charge before being charged for it. Also, if getting a large was actually the better deal, I would have appreciated being told that. What made the interaction more frustrating was that the employee seemed distracted and dismissive while her coworker was talking to her. I ended up getting the small, even though I was confused about the pricing. The matcha itself was good, but unfortunately, because of the customer service experience, I don't think I'll be returning. I don't expect anything special--just clear communication about pricing and to be asked what size I'd like before being charged.

Despite its popularity, I find the food to be fairly average. Much of it tastes like it's made from standard commercial food-service ingredients rather than prepared fresh. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay but don't stand out. Coffee - 2/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.
