The Office was super organized with a courteously chic waiting area designed to help me get settled in peacefully. Hung had a clipboard with a sheet ready to fill in all my personal information and I delighted in the cute plants, pop culture toys, and fun selection of interesting Magazines laid out for us to enjoy. Hung modeled an energetically welcoming and helpful attitude that put me instantly at ease, and informed me he would reach out and let me know what the problem with my Chromebook was once it was officially diagnosed. A few hours later I received wonderful news that there was nothing wrong with my Chromebook at all and the battery just needed extra charging! I'm very grateful for how honest ITC is and their patience in helping us understand how our Computers work. I came in looking to purchase a laptop, but unfortunately the specific model I wanted wasn't in stock. A gentleman working in the computer section approached us and asked if we needed any assistance. I don't remember his name, but I told him I was looking for a specific model, wanted to confirm the online price, and was hoping to see it on display. He went over to another associate who was already helping a customer and patiently waited to ask about it while I continued browsing other laptops. A few moments later, he brought the associate over, who checked the inventory and pricing. He explained that the laptop wasn't in stock anywhere and initially thought it might have been a clearance item because of the red price. As we continued discussing other options, the first gentleman took the time to ask what I actually needed the laptop for. Once I explained it would mainly be used for basic tasks and schoolwork, he recommended several alternatives. They were all solid suggestions, but most were newer models with higher specs than I really needed. Shortly after, another employee, Youssef, came over to help. He double-checked the SKU and clarified that the laptop wasn't discontinued at all, it was simply on sale, and that sale was ending in about five days. He helped me place the order and was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. What stood out most was that he wasn't pushy. He mentioned the protection plan, Microsoft Office, and the store credit card once, but after I declined, he moved on without any pressure. That made the experience feel genuine and customer-focused. I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but when someone truly goes above and beyond, I think it's important to recognize them. I hope Youssef receives more than just a shout-out. Employees like him are what make a real difference, and they're the reason customers keep coming back.

And I get there and the guy asked "did you get a quote" and I said yeah it's for an iPhone 13 Pro Max and so he comes back with a $160 price and I say, I was quoted 99-129 for my model phone. So he says he'll have to call his boss to get it cleared. None of this would matter if the phone worked. But now my eyes hurt from this super bright screen. I'm turning every app into night mode that can. My cellphone brightness is on lowest setting. The guy even made up excuses on why he was charging more like it was a newer better screen from before and they haven't updated the new price. I didn't want to hear it. And the whole "pay in cash." SMH If you have time to do research, go somewhere else. I blame myself for not walking out when things seemed shady. I was better off with the cracked screen. **** Update**** So I get a call from Ben. My screen is probably defective. He wants me to bring it in to run a diagnostic and see if anything is wrong and replace it and offers a refund. Tells me to take down my review. I'm your typical guy that will google or YouTube something to fix it. There is something definitely wrong with this "non-Apple screen." So I say I'll take the refund and get my iPhone fixed somewhere else. Happy to give back this screen and I'll take my cracked screen. Ben says it's not right to give a refund. Ben was more concerned about taking down this review. Ben was polite but, at this point if I have to live with this super bright screen that heats up my phone until my budget can splurge to drop another $130 on a 2nd attempt, then Ben is gonna have to live with this review. People should have fair warning. So here's the warning. This company does not use compatible Apple iPhone screens. Your iPhone will not recognize the screen for "optimized" settings, ie "my bright screen" Worse, iPhone not recognizing the new screen is acceptable to them and was not disclosed. Who would want or trust a defective product. If I got a lemon then I don't want another lemon that passes a diagnostic only to fail me after a 3 month warranty. I'm better off getting a refund and going somewhere else. Ben, you got me for $130. I lost. And since this is the longest I've been in my phone after getting this bright screen, I'm just realizing how much it's draining my battery. Seems our printer had died, and as we drive along Base Line Rd. on a regular basis, decided to stop and find out if they fixed printers. Well they don't. BUT, these honest people did advise me on who to contact, and their recommendation proved to be well worth the stop. ( As this is a review of PC-Fix; enough said about printers.) A short time later my wife's desktop caught a cold, or something, and we remembered about how courteously we were treated earlier; so off to PC-Fix we went. How fortuitous, Wayne Pidwell, owner, diagnosed the problem, and as the symptoms were not terminal, quickly returned the machine back to normal. Over time Wayne has fixed and maintained a number of our machines, lending his skills and expertise to the dilemmas my wife and I encounter in this technological age. We find fair prices, honest appraisals, and expert repairs with PC-Fix. And the best part? My wife and I now consider Wayne, and his wife Cindy, good friends. Always there to answer questions, and offer advice on what or how to try before we bring in anything for him to check. God is so good.

The temporary store in the small Athleta store is currently in a pickup window format. There are no small tables inside, and the demo devices are placed on accessory shelves. The store is a fourth of the size of the original store. Since it's located in a clothing store area, I knew it would be quite small. You have to line up in three different places: one for checking out items, one for the Genius Bar, and one for purchasing items outside. This setup will remain in place until September. Fortunately, they will be in the original store and complete renovation for the iPhone 18 Pro launch event there, as the situation could become extremely chaotic to manage. It's similar to the COVID lockdown-style Apple pickup windows, but you can still browse items inside. The service remains the same; manager Christina and Tim the specialist are still there and they are superstars. Only thing is that since the temporary store doesn't have any tables, prepare to bring Apple gift cards and your Apple Pay cards on your iPhone! The store doesn't have the tables due to lack of space and their registers are unavailable until they reopen at the permanent location in September.

I found Human Computer because of all the great reviews, and now I completely understand why they have such a great reputation. John was so sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and immediately made me feel like my computer was in good hands. He was able to fix it, get me back up and running, and it only cost me around $85! He even told me that based on how well I've taken care of my computer, it could easily have another five years of life in it. I really appreciated that he wasn't trying to convince me that I needed a new computer or sell me something I didn't need. I also couldn't believe this little shop has been here in Riverside off Van Buren since 1996! There's something really special about finding a small local business that has been around that long and still treats people with genuine kindness. If you have a PC or Mac that needs repair, I absolutely recommend bringing it here. Great service, fair pricing, knowledgeable, and most importantly, someone you feel you can trust. I'd like to compliment a company I recently had the pleasure in working with, Net Tech Computer Service, for their excellent service they provided me this past week with my Sony Vaio. Eric, an employee for Net Tech Computer Service, helped me get back to my computing skills by taking on the challenge of fixing my Sony Vaio, only after having a fall out with a buddy of mine who was working on it originally. Hesitant as I was to leave my laptop with Eric, it needed to be done. However, after beingreferred to Eric and Net Tech Computer Services by two of my other buddies, I was not worried. My two buddies were very pleased with the service they received, so it was my turn to find out. Eric listened to the issues I had and addressed them spot on. He took into account what I went through with the fall out of my buddy and the work he did and offered me one of the best professionalism I've ever received in customer service and his ability to get to the bottom of the problems I was having with my Sony Vaio quickly exceeded my expectations. Within a few days, Eric was able to verify the route of the problem and start the process of having my Sony Vaio fixed and back up and running sonner then I expected. This place is great!! I have a 10 year old HP with Windows XP that I love with a dead battery and a booting problem. Another RC computer store told me to buy a battery, they would install but that wouldn't fix my booting problem and they did not work on XP. I called Nettech, they installed the battery and my booting problem was fixed. They notice my video card was failing and I was concerned about my hardware with multiple expensive programs that were not backed up. They suggest cloning my hard drive for backup. New battery install, upgraded video card and a backup hard drive in one day and for an amazing price. The customer service is GREAT. I came to Nettech Computers knowing pretty much nothing about PC builds--like, at all. I just told Richie what my budget was, and he took care of the rest. Super chill experience. He asked a few questions about what I planned to use the computer for, and he handled the rest. No pressure, no upselling, just solid advice and transparency. The final build turned out better than I expected with the budget i had, the PC is fast, it handles everything I throw at it right out of the box. Honestly, if you're new to custom PCs or just want someone who knows what they're doing to take the wheel, Richie and the team got you. Highly recommend. I came by on Christmas Eve and was honestly a bit surprised they were open. I went in to look for cases for individual CDs, they didn't have any stocked up for sale expectedly, but Richie found some paper CD sleeves lying around and put it in a plastic sleeve to protect them from the rain for free. We chatted a bit about changes in the industry and a Christmas present I've been preparing. It felt like a much more comfortable experience than the one I had at Best Buy a few minutes earlier. I unfortunately didn't buy anything at this visit, and I'm somewhat tech savvy myself and usually pretty conservative with upgrading my PC, but it really re-opened my eyes with supporting local businesses and I will probably find an excuse to come by to actually buy something next time. read more

I came here and asked if he (Eric) could help me overclock my computer and/or buy the stuff I needed to OC, as I was a novice and had no clue to what I needed/wanted. They sold me an all in one watercooler, a new motherboard, a SSD, I also had them install it... $950 and 1 week later. PROBLEM #1 I had the i7-6700 which cannot be overclocked, in fact he said he could and would. He never mentioned that I needed the i7-6700k! #2 The motherboard he had me buy was the H170, which does not overclock as well! MOST OF ALL #3 When they installed the watercooler they didn't remove the plastic cover from the heat sink. They just through some thermal compound on and presto gave me a time bomb! read more

I have been using Nettech since the store first opened approx 15 years I guess. I never have hade to take my computer any where else due to the customer service has been outstanding but most important the 5 computers purchased over the years have always been withoput question a great tool knowing that if something gets corrupted or etc it can be fixed fast with excellent service. No sending your computer in talking to techs you actually have personal service. I would highly recommend Nettech for all computer needs. Five stars for Nettech. Thanks to Ricardo for getting my machine back up and running! Long story short, i got a rootkit or bootkit virus, tried to do it myself and really screwed up my whole system. Dont normally trust services with things i can do myself, but lost control and had to go out on a limb- Nettech And Ricardo were my lifeline back to productivity, so much in fact that i actually signed up for Yelp only to review this service. These guys are highly incompitant of handling laptops. My laptop had virus and gave Nettech computers for removing the virus. They are even worse than virus. i spend about 90 bucks but laptop is no better. Customer service is very bad and unhelpful. I eventually have to reformat my laptop to get it going. Will never recommend to anyone. AP read more

Seems our printer had died, and as we drive along Base Line Rd. on a regular basis, decided to stop and find out if they fixed printers. Well they don't. BUT, these honest people did advise me on who to contact, and their recommendation proved to be well worth the stop. ( As this is a review of PC-Fix; enough said about printers.) A short time later my wife's desktop caught a cold, or something, and we remembered about how courteously we were treated earlier; so off to PC-Fix we went. How fortuitous, Wayne Pidwell, owner, diagnosed the problem, and as the symptoms were not terminal, quickly returned the machine back to normal. Over time Wayne has fixed and maintained a number of our machines, lending his skills and expertise to the dilemmas my wife and I encounter in this technological age. We find fair prices, honest appraisals, and expert repairs with PC-Fix. And the best part? My wife and I now consider Wayne, and his wife Cindy, good friends. Always there to answer questions, and offer advice on what or how to try before we bring in anything for him to check. God is so good.

I'm so pissed at my self cause I should've known this would happen. I got a quote through yelp. And I get there and the guy asked "did you get a quote" and I said yeah it's for an iPhone 13 Pro Max and so he comes back with a $160 price and I say, I was quoted 99-129 for my model phone. So he says he'll have to call his boss to get it cleared. None of this would matter if the phone worked. But now my eyes hurt from this super bright screen. I'm turning every app into night mode that can. My cellphone brightness is on lowest setting. The guy even made up excuses on why he was charging more like it was a newer better screen from before and they haven't updated the new price. I didn't want to hear it. And the whole "pay in cash." SMH If you have time to do research, go somewhere else. I blame myself for not walking out when things seemed shady. I was better off with the cracked screen. **** Update**** So I get a call from Ben. My screen is probably defective. He wants me to bring it in to run a diagnostic and see if anything is wrong and replace it and offers a refund. Tells me to take down my review. I'm your typical guy that will google or YouTube something to fix it. There is something definitely wrong with this "non-Apple screen." So I say I'll take the refund and get my iPhone fixed somewhere else. Happy to give back this screen and I'll take my cracked screen. Ben says it's not right to give a refund. Ben was more concerned about taking down this review. Ben was polite but, at this point if I have to live with this super bright screen that heats up my phone until my budget can splurge to drop another $130 on a 2nd attempt, then Ben is gonna have to live with this review. People should have fair warning. So here's the warning. This company does not use compatible Apple iPhone screens. Your iPhone will not recognize the screen for "optimized" settings, ie "my bright screen" Worse, iPhone not recognizing the new screen is acceptable to them and was not disclosed. Who would want or trust a defective product. If I got a lemon then I don't want another lemon that passes a diagnostic only to fail me after a 3 month warranty. I'm better off getting a refund and going somewhere else. Ben, you got me for $130. I lost. And since this is the longest I've been in my phone after getting this bright screen, I'm just realizing how much it's draining my battery. Not sure what else this store does but for iPhone screens you are better off going anywhere else. Also, please don't delete your reviews when businesses ask you to. Better to update reviews to show how they fix things. I bet Ben has convinced others to delete their reviews. At this point if you go to this business then it's your fault.

Service: He came out to my car to get my laptop, but instead of just looking at it there to give the quote, he asked me to give him 10-15 minutes and he took it inside. He came back in less than 5 minutes and told me the quote, handing me my laptop OPEN rather than closed. As he walked away, I tried to close it and found that I couldn't, as some part was sticking out. I called after him and told him I couldn't close it. He took it and tried, then said, "Let me go use my tools" and he took the laptop back inside. He came back in a minute or two with it closed, and I thanked him and drove off. When I got home, I saw that my laptop could open and close, but the thing itself was completely broken. It wouldn't turn on AT ALL. By playing with the hardware, he had completely damaged it so that it would no longer work.

The tech was checking the battery usage and saw that the battery was draining after a couple of minutes. He then checked the battery data and saw that the data showed it was new. Could hold a full 100% charge. He saw that the Apple Intelligence and Adobe Creative Cloud were sucking up energy. He suggested I update the OS and showed me how to turn off the 2 programs above.
