DELICIOUS potato and onion pierogis with Nutella dessert pierogis to-go.

I'm kicking myself for not trying Wheelie Good Pierogi sooner!! Delicious pierogis served in small or large orders - perfect for a quick lunch. I love their dessert options. I cannot wait to come back and try The "My Girlfriend is Not Hungry" special and bring back a batch of frozen pierogis to serve later for dinner. Fast service. Great pricing. Delicious food.

There are 3 things on this menu that YOU have to have but get ready because A. You're about to have a new favorite place to order from and B. It's so good you might cry soooo, if you're about to eat this in public then get your sunglasses because this will be an experience! You have to get the 1. Stuffed cabbage (these guys aren't serving monster sized stuffed cabbage which is most commonly all rice and no flavor. This place is ALL flavor and it hits your heart and tears will fall!) 2. If you're a manly man like myself, then you probably don't want to be eating Nutella pierogi in public, save those for later and get yourself some Buffalo Chicken Pierogi because you're a rockstar with exceptional taste like the chef that created this soul touching snack! And 3. Get yourself the chicken bacon ranch meal and forget about life. Be present. Enjoy this holy meal because you'll be hearing angels singing their highest notes when you bite into this heavenly goodness. I'm only writing about 3 things because honestly, your tastebuds can't handle the rest of this menu so enjoy it slowly and order EVERYTHING at least once because your body is your temple and these meals bring you closer to Jesus! Hallelujah !!

This place makes really good pierogis. With that said, there are a few downsides thst prevent me from eating there more often: 1) They have odd hours and you can't get lunch every day. 2) There is no seating. It's takeout only, which really sucks in the winter. 3) They only deliver if you have Grubhub, so forget trying to order for an office if you work nearby. But if you can manage to get there during business hours, try the standard potato and cheese with bacon topping.

    Polish Happy Meal

From the delicious homemade Pierogis- to the ranch drizzle and garnished chives, this place is heavenly! Both the pierogi and kielbasa are immaculate, it's not over nor under cooked. The size portion is fair and the price is very affordable. Staff was friendly, and quick to answer the phone, tender the order and check me out. I ordered the polish happy meal with chicken, bacon & ranch pierogis- it came with a side of sour cream, spicy mustard, rye bread & beet salad. It was fulfilling and more than satisfying. The food tastes so fresh and authentic, there's no doubt in my mind the dough is freshly rolled out. It's location however is tricky. It's tucked between two buildings- so you must pay attention, it's easy to miss. Once you get there it'll be easy to find for the second time. They're open 3 days a week- which is fine! This builds up the anticipation to place my order on Friday's !!! The food was so good I ended up ordering twice, on the same day, within the hour. Ugh! So worth the wait. I strongly advise you stop and try them out this weekend ! Cheers

I lived in Poland for over 6 years and tasting some of these pierogies definitely made me nostalgic! You come into this cute place to polish music playing and such friendly staff! My new place for when I feel like having a little piece of Poland!

Okay first time trying this place out and it was amazing! Food was fresh, cooked quickly and tasted delicious! If you are looking for your traditional pierogi spot with a little flare. This is it! There is variety of creative flavors that make you want to come to and try everything! I will for sure be coming back to this place as it was delicious.

Is this place really only open on Sundays?

That might be holiday-related. I was there this past Saturday and they were open. (And on their website it looks like they're usually open Friday-Sunday.)

This Polish food is dangerously good. Like "someone's grandma is in the back judging portion sizes"…read moregood. Everything tastes 100% made from scratch, no shortcuts, no funny business. I'm not Polish, but if you were lucky enough to grow up with a nona (or any grandmother who showed love through food), this place will hit that same comfort food nerve regardless of your background. You don't need to know what everything is called, you just need to trust the process. The potatoes? Unreal. Perfectly cooked, seasoned like they knew me personally. As for the other two mysterious balls on the plate... no clue what they're called, but I do know they disappeared fast and I regret not ordering more. That's all the science I need. This spot is tucked in the back of a deli, which honestly makes it even better. Tons of imported Polish goods up front, and then boom, comfort food heaven hiding in the rear like a secret level in a video game. And the ladies working there? Absolute sweethearts. One big smile, genuinely welcoming, and clearly proud of what they're serving, as they should be. Come hungry. Leave full. Accept that you will be back.

For Linden, an old-fashioned town situated along the popular Northeast Corridor commuter train, it is a hub for immigrants--home to some of the best Polish cuisine. Since 2001, this establishment has been translated from the Polish meaning "mermaid" and "symbol of Warsaw," so I decided on Syrena Polish Deli, which is located at Linden Center. Upon entering, it was a bit overwhelming as the cozy, clean, cool interior features a grocery store with everything Polish, like canned sauerkraut, mustards, jellies, etc., a deli, and hot food to go. Step toward the back where one finds everything from pierogies to kielbasa; every bite showcases the authentic flavors of Poland. That is where I decided on takeout as a first-timer. Their menu changes daily. I went for the Pork Stuffed Cabbage Golabki and Coleslaw. The food was authentic, well seasoned, tastefully delicious, and remained hot. The staff was friendly. The price was comparable to the area. Can't wait for a repeat performance, which I can recommend.

Food is from the mountainous region of Poland. If you like Polish cuisine, this place would…read moreinterest you. The menu requires some knowledge of Polish food with some offerings being familiar while others may require some exploration. We were two couples dining on a weekday evening. Two people had plum stuffed pork which was very good, one had the pork loin and broccoli which was also good. I had the schnitzel which was not to be confused with German or Austrian schnitzel. It was two small loaves of a mix of beef and pork which resembled more of a meatloaf. It was a bit bland but satisfactory. It came with mashed potatoes. Several sides of Polish sauerkraut, beet salad, and what appeared to be a fermented carrot salad were included. We shared an appetizer platter of pirogies, kielbasa, and something I couldn't identify, but it was all very tasty. This is not BYOB because they have a full bar. The ambiance has a Bavarian flavor and is squeaky clean and neat. The food is hearty and flavorful im what I would describe as peasant style. The service is excellent as they seem to want you to have a good experience. Reservations are required on weekends.

It was my time to expose my friend group to Polish cuisine, and boy is this the place to do it! We were immediately greeted by the authentic decor, furniture, and outdoor space of a Highlander restaurant in Poland. The furniture is hand carved and there are outfits and decorations straight from the motherland. You feel like you are in your grandmother's home- and in a good way! There is something to look at and admire around every corner. Our waitress was so welcoming and patient while we decided on a variety of orders. She greeted us with a warm smile, gave us plenty of time to select from the menu, and provided top-notch recommendations. The food - don't get me started. This is as good, if not better, than what I eat in Poland. We tried soups (the żurek- sour, but not overwhelming, well presented in a bread bowl, and with delicious boiled egg- and the red barszcz- a tangy beet soup), a "sampler platter" with gołąbki (mini stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce for pouring to your liking), and grilled kielbasa. We also opted for the rye bread, lard, and half sour pickles. Sounds odd, but don't knock it till you try it! It's not what you expect, very rich and filling. For my entrée, I had a thinly sliced breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes on the side and "mizeria" (Polish side salad with cucumbers, dill, and sour cream). It was so fresh and light. I loved it because it reminded me of summers with my grandma. The drinks were colorful, well presented, and strong! Definitely worth their $12+ price. Overall, this spot is a hit. There is plenty of parking on the street or across the street at the library. Everything from the service, ambiance, presentation, to the freshness and taste of the food was top-notch. This is the spot to visit if you want real Polish food. We will be coming back!
