Who knew Ardsley had such an amazing Thai restaurant? A tranquil Thai dining experience that exceeded our expectations. Delicious food, a cozy vibe and reasonable priced. While waiting for a friend to join us, I asked if they still allowed B.Y.O.B. and was told yes. Once we confirmed and found out the liquor store was very close, my daughter went and got a bottle of white wine for us. I asked for glasses, and three wine glasses were placed on our table. When I asked for ice, our waitress pleasantly brought a glass full. What we ate: The curry puffs were filled with a delicious mixture of chicken, potato, onion, and curry. The sweet fish sauce served alongside was perfect for dipping. Pork Belly Ka Prow - A hearty portion of succulent pork belly stir-fried with fresh basil, onion, string beans, and bell peppers, all coated in a rich chili garlic sauce. Pork Pad See Ew - fresh rice noodles stir fried with Chinese broccoli, carrot, and egg in a dark soy sauce. On the heat level my daughter opted for 3 out of 4.I will trust her word that it was spicy because she started hiccuping after the first bite. When the hiccups subsided, she insisted, "It's not too hot." (Hmm?) One of the best Shrimp Pad Thais I've ever had! It was on the sweeter side, which I enjoy, and included egg, bean sprouts, ground peanuts, and five perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp. For dessert, we ordered the Mango Sticky Rice, which featured a generous serving of fresh, ripe mango alongside sticky rice. The rice was colored green with pandan and purple (not sure of the ingredient), and topped with a delicious coconut sauce. Both of my lunch companions thought it was quite good. The restaurant has a free parking lot in front, and the air conditioning was perfectly cool on a hot day. The two gender-neutral bathrooms were clean. Whether you're a fan of Thai food or trying it for the first time, Neung Thai Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. We had a delightful meal and think you'll enjoy it as much as we did.

Last week, we were informed about this new Thai place by my wife's' co-worker. Undecided about dinner, I suggested Neung Thai Kitchen & off we went. The place is located in a tiny, tiny strip mall. The three of us walked in without a reservation & hand signaled 3. The hostess pointed out a table behind us. We were seated immediately. The place is very small. It's bright and airy, well lit. If I recall correctly there are about 8 tables seating four each. There is also a banquet bench running along one wall, so the seating capacity maybe a bit larger. Started this review in June, now it's December. It's a BYOB & no corking charges. We've been there now about four times. Highly recommend it. It's easy on the budget, generous portions, tasty and well prepared. The only thing I have are photos but no captions at this time

I stopped by this restaurant while in the area running some errands. I simply searched for the nearest Thai restaurant on Yelp n I called in my order first - chicken satay, massaman curry with beef and shrimp pineapple fried rice. I also tried the Thai iced tea. When I arrived to pick up my order the staff was friendly and greeted me immediately. I really thought I would enjoy everything I tasted based on appearance but the food was just ok. Out of everything I tried in my order the chicken satay was the best but I have definitely had better. The massaman curry was my least favorite because it tasted as if was very watered down to me. Unfortunately. I don't see myself planning to return in the future.

Neung Thai Kitchen is the best, authentic Thai restaurant in Westchester County. My husband and I went to Thailand many years ago and when we stumbled upon this place, we were immediately blown away by the staff providing attention, care and service to our needs. It was wonderful to hear about their culture and background as well as stories as they originate from Thailand and how their love for their home country shows in the impeccable food provided. We have been here a few times and every dish I tried is like I'm transported back to my trip there which makes me excited to go in the future with my daughter. The pad Thai , Tom Yum Noodles and their desserts are truly delicious and I recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Thai food. I will definitely be a frequent customer here with my family for sure!

It seems Westchester has long suffered from a lack of great Thai restaurants, so I was thrilled upon hearing of this new spot. The restaurant is very small, about the size of a cafe, and easily overlooked; inside, a small staff of friendly but sometimes seemingly overwhelmed servers scurries around to tend to guests. The menu has all the classic Thai staples plus some Chinese dishes here and there. I ordered the roast duck noodle soup, which was fantastic; most notable was the generous amount of crispy, tender duck! The pad thai was good, not too sweet; the green curry was well-seasoned and very, very creamy; the thai fried rice was standard. The prices for some items are a little high for the portions. $8 for a tiny bowl of average Tom Yum soup is unnecessary. Also, there was a swarm of flies around our table for the duration of our meal. Went here on a weekday and the restaurant was receiving a ton of takeout orders -- maybe that's the way to do it next time.

Excellent! The food is crazy fresh and you can easily tell by the color and crispness of the veggies. Ordering is smooth and service is friendly. The roti app is amazing and they accommodated a request to make the sauce on the side vegetarian! Fam loved the massaman curry! Teens enjoyed the pad Thai and I had the Thai basil which was FIRE! The ambiance is homely and welcoming. Not stuffy and overwhelming.

We had noticed this place after having dinner at Red Hat and I made it known I wanted to eat here for my birthday and my birthday wish came true! The restaurant is 2 floors but the 2nd floor is where to be. They have this wonderful balcony that puts you with a beautiful backdrop for your meal. For our meal we opted for the lunch special which comes with choice of soup or salad and a classic dish entree. I got the Green Papaya Salad and Green Curry with chicken and my mother got the Kao Tum Soup and the Ginger Scallion entree with chicken. Since it was our first time here we had to also order a few more appetizers to try so we got the Chive Cake and Asian Cauliflower as well. The chive cake was lightly crispy and had a smooth chewy texture that was delightful. The cauliflower was tossed in the tangy sweet and sour sauce but still maintained its crispness on the outside and yet perfectly cooked on the inside. The green papaya salad was outstanding! I love the sourness, saltiness, nuttiness and freshness. My mouth is watering just thinking of that dish. The soup was a wonderful clear stock but tasted of the delicious aromatics it was steeped in. The green curry is always my go to and with good reason. The green coconut broth is so flavorful and a slight hint of spice that coats the chicken and vegetables perfectly. The rice is like a sponge for that delicious sauce. The ginger scallion was also soooo good. The sauce had this charred flavor that was amazing. Our drinks were also just as good as the food! My mom got the lychee Thai iced tea and I got the Tender Coconut. I was definitely not expecting to have the whole coconut in my glass so that was a fun experience! The iced tea was the best of both worlds and not too sweet. After I had finished drinking all the coconut water, they went ahead and cracked it so I could eat the coconut meat so that was a nice little dessert after a fabulous meal!

That was basically our entire meal. The Larb Kai Salad was incredibly fresh, bright, and packed with flavor--the perfect balance of savory, tangy, spicy, and refreshing. The Massaman Curry was pure comfort food: rich, creamy, beautifully spiced, and the kind of dish you just want to keep going back to for one more bite. And the Pad Lee Maow was absolutely delicious--bold, savory, perfectly seasoned, and full of that wonderful wok-fired flavor that makes the dish so addictive. What really stood out was how much flavor and care there was in everything. Nothing tasted generic or thrown together. Every dish had its own personality, and you could genuinely taste the love that went into the food. The view and ambiance were just as incredible as the meal. The atmosphere made everything feel that much more special--relaxing, beautiful, and perfect for enjoying a great meal. It's the kind of place where you want to sit, take your time, and really enjoy the whole experience. There's something special about a restaurant that can make a meal feel comforting, exciting, and memorable all at the same time, and Sambal absolutely did that for us. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try next. If you love Thai and Malaysian food--or just really, really good food--do yourself a favor and give Sambal a try. We'll definitely be back!

Wonton soup for the Honey, Hot and Sour soup for me - we usually end up tasting both so this is a good choice. Both soups were excellent! The Wonton flavorful with a good "body" with several wontons, tender wraps and tasty filling. The Hot and Sour soup deserves its own star! Delicious! Well balanced heat with lots of mushrooms and other vegetables in the flavorful bowl. The best in a long while! I chose the Sesame Chicken, the Honey, the LoMein. Both with brown rice. Good choices. Well portioned and obviously freshly made. We did share these too! We'll definitely be back!

This review, though, is all about their omakase experience. As always, the service was exceptional. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like a valued guest. The only reason this wasn't a perfect 10/10 had nothing to do with the restaurant. It's a small, intimate space, and unfortunately another table had a baby who cried throughout much of the meal. Not the restaurant's fault at all, but it's something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quiet omakase experience. Now for the food, the omakase was fantastic. I won't go through every course because part of the fun is the surprise, but what really stood out was the fish-to-rice ratio. Every piece was generously topped with beautifully fresh fish instead of being overloaded with rice, which I absolutely loved. Each bite was thoughtfully prepared, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. Dessert was another pleasant surprise. Instead of the usual ending you get at many sushi restaurants, they served matcha ice cream topped with sweet red bean paste and pieces of mochi. It was unique, refreshing, and the perfect finish to the meal. Overall, I'll definitely continue coming back, not just for the omakase, but for their regular menu as well. If you're an omakase fan or looking for a quality sushi experience without breaking the bank, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
