The Ortho side is great! 5 stars However, I would stay away from the regular dentist side (Dr. Jung -0 stars) this is the worst dentist I've ever experienced. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. My child was being seen to get a cleaning and a small surface cavity filled and a secondary cavity that was found by the Ortho dentist the day prior to be looked at as well as possibly filled. After waiting a little over an hour he walk in didn't say a word spent about 3 minutes doing something on her mouth then got up and walked out. I said "excuse me " and he turned around with an attitude and said "what's the problem " I stated I wanted to know what was going on with my child's mouth and that I was wanting a little communication. He said what do you mean communication? And that I need to "relax" he then stated "I'm still here" and then walked in to the next room to work on another patient. He then was about to go work on another patient and I got up and went to the front to complain as we were just left sitting there (child still in the chair) not knowing if he was coming back, if he was done or if an assistant was coming to take care of us. The lady in the front came back and spoke to the dentist as he was just entering another patients room then he decided come back in our room to finish what he had begun. He again said nothing and when he finished he had filled one cavity did the cleaning and then said that my child will need a crown on the newly found cavity then stated "but it won't be done by me". I then said you are most definitely correct it will NOT be done by you. I will never go to this dentist again as we spent a total of 2 hours sitting in a chair mostly waiting with no communication, not knowing what was going on. He's horrible, has no class, NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS, and does not excel at being a dentist. He will give you no advice, no clarification, and no respect as a paying client that helps keep him in business. He acted like a man child throwing a tantrum and even the assistant was embarrassed by him as she apologized profusely to me on the way out. Don't bother wasting your money on a loser that takes no pride in his chosen profession as his work is completely overshadowed by his bad attitude. Stay Away!!! read more

EASTERN AVENUE LOCATION: This company pushes expensive deep cleanings to increase their profits. I arrived for my teeth cleaning appointment. After the x-rays, they said I must pay $600 for a deep cleaning and they refused to do the basic teeth cleaning that is fully covered by my insurance. My teeth are not perfect, but I have a nice smile with no pain and no issue so alarming that it would make me ineligible to have my teeth cleaned. I have never in my life had a dentist refuse to do a basic cleaning that is FULLY COVERED BY MY INSURANCE. The staff members are fine and the music is great. But the issue is GREED and questionable / unethical practices. The main dentist lady was not personable, welcoming or kind - she just tells you all your problems and sends you to the front desk for all the prices. The lack of costumer service skills and professionalism is very disappointing. This is the worst dentist I've ever been to. The staff is constantly yelling at each other from across the rooms while treating patients but nobody ever talks to you (the patient). The doctor comes in, reclines my chair, not a single word and I'm just thinking what the hell did I get myself into. She rushes through my procedure and leaves. Then I'm left with "an assistant" that didn't know what she was doing. She struggled every time she had to do something. I had a crown done so she placed the temporary one, not the doctor. I've been in pain since and after asking AI (which I trust way more than these inefficient doctors) it says I more than likely have nerve damage due to too much filing or improper fit of temporary crown and probably require a root canal. Of course all this after paying them almost $1000. How can they even be in business after all the unsatisfied customers? read more

Never going back! Was there over 2 hours for X-rays and cleaning. Dentists hands were shaking. Only cleaned at the gum line, didn't even floss. Told me not to swallow, but kept squirting water in my mouth. The assistant did the polishing. Told me to rinse and spit with no sink. Water all over my clothes and hair and glasses. He tried to suction the water out unsuccessfully. When I left there was water all over the floor. I had to ask to get X-ray results and he said everything is fine. Again, not going back! read more

My partner came here for a wisdom tooth extraction, and someone on the phone wanted him to come in on Wednesday to have the tooth pulled on Friday, when the oral surgeon would be there. He explained on the phone that he can only take so many days off work, so the person he spoke to on the phone told him for an extra $20, he could come in on Friday and have the tooth pulled. We arrived for his appointment on Friday, and the receptionist told him he would have to come back next month for the extraction. I told her the person on the phone told us a different story. She insisted that she wouldn't know who we spoke to on the phone. I asked who was working there when we made the call. She said she couldn't know, even though she also said in the same breath, that the same six people are working there on a rotation. This is a combo orthodontic and dental practice so the waiting room was super packed. Very loud 'club' type music was playing. I almost left, but the music calmed a little bit so I stayed. I was called back about 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I was led to the room with the pano xray machine. The Dental Assistant threw the heavy lead vest onto me, almost knocking me down. She told me nothing about how the machine worked. When she raised the chin rest arm up so fast, it caught me by complete surprise and I involuntarily jumped backwards. She snapped "it has to press firm to lift your chin." I firmly told her, "I've never been to this office. I'm unfamiliar with this machine. You aren't telling me anything that's going to happen. It's very disorienting and we need to slow down." She seemed to chill out, and go a bit slower with me. When we got to the exam room - there was a TV in the exam room loudly playing political commercials at the same time as the upbeat music from the ceiling speaker was playing. I had to ask to her to turn the TV off. She seemed surprised and reluctant. The dentist - Dr Unknown - because they did not give me a reciept with her name, did a very rushed exam. She told me I had no decay but didn't look at my X-rays with me. Apparently they don't have hygienists so the dentist did my cleaning. She took about 3 minutes ROTO ROOTING and WEED WHACKING through my mouth with the cavitron. The assistant did the polish after. I told the dentist I had some sensitive margins. When I nearly jumped out of my chair when she hit one during the cleaning *she blamed it on me*. She said, "Well you have plaque there." I asked her why she didn't do a perio chart. I know I have some chronically deep pockets around two crowns. She said "we don't do that unless you need a deep cleaning." No exam to feel my clicky jaw. No exam of my glands & nodes. No oral cancer exam. The assistant didn't even polish my whole mouth. When I questioned her she snapped at me. I was exhausted. I have never had a worse dental exam and cleaning in my entire life. Gentle Dental this was NOT. The horribly brutal practices, barely an exam, and loud thumping music piped in to every single room make this by far the absolute worst dental office I've ever been to. read more

The doctor gave me the correct antibiotic to kill my infection, and treated me the next day to remove my tooth. I am so appreciative of Dr. Chi I was in so much pain I literally thought I was going to die. This man has saved my life . Literally. By him providing need the correct antibiotics I was able to get my infection down in enough time to properly get my tooth extracted . I came across Nevada Dentistry and Braces while searching for a dentist who can provide in-house anesthesia for my 5 year old daughter, who isn't the biggest fan of dentist. After some googling and calling different offices, I found that Nevada Dentistry and Braces had the shortest wait time for answering calls. When I inquired about in-house or specialty anesthesia visits, the receptionist/front office worker, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, informed me that they definitely offer in-office local anesthesia. I was pleased with this information and scheduled the earliest appointment for 8:45 am. My husband took our daughter to her appointment and called me 30 minutes after her scheduled time to inform me that they had taken her to the back where she wasn't visible. He wasn't allowed to accompany her, which I found very odd because of her age and how I explained on the phone that she is not the biggest fan of the dentist. Hence, they had to put her to sleep for an extraction. After waiting and undergoing an examination, the dentist gave us the same diagnosis that was on the slip we provided from our previous dentist. One of the worst dental office to go to if you ask for the first appointment they schedule you at 845am and then the office doesn't even open until 9am. You have everyone that they scheduled first thing waiting to go in then you wait another hour or two for the dentist to come to your room. I ended up leaving at 10:05am when my appointment was at 845 and still didn't see the dentist. Then after walking up to counter for them to reschedule your appointment I'm still waiting. The office staff has you on hold for over 10 minutes when you call and when you ask to speak to the office manager they tell they will call you back they don't.
