The next several visits included a different person in training each time. Paired with extremely long hold times, overall an unorganized front office full of Kaos. On my first visit I really liked the PA Trevor, I was excited to finally have a Doctor I liked after 12 years of searching (which Is why I returned initially) . Unfortunately, I never saw Trevor again. Each visit is a take who/what you get! Once your called back to a room it's a guessing game...who's behind door #3...? You'll wait in a room and have zero idea who the provider will be on any particular day. This creates no relationship or history with your provider. This office feels like a cattle call/urgent care. Although, don't expect anything to be easy afterward. Receiving a report via a phone call, needing records forwarded or god forbid your own records printed! Overall I consider this vibe an older urgent care clinic -whether you have an appointment or not.

The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money!

That is the reason for my visit today. Sometimes we tend in think we feel fine, but there might be small things wrong that can lead to monster issues. When I walked into the office the front staff greeted me and I was so impressed at how the feel and atmosphere of the office is. The office is very clean and nicely done. I did not wait long for the doctor, actually I was still filling out the paperwork when they called. I finished the said paperwork in the room while talking to the office assistant. According…read moreto Apostle John Chi The ability to put others above yourself and put aside your own personal feelings to help others in a positive light and using love shows here. I'm here due to an imbalance with iron deficiency that has occurred yet again . This time around I'm on my fifth infusion of iron. The staff have been spectacular in making sure that my care is paramount. Could you imagine the strife an individual has to endure here? Cancer patients from all walks of life? Their existence and will are so precious. Lots of these patients are super human. They deserve and have that will, it's just magical to see. Here anemia sure can cause an individual to be sick, but cancer is devastating. I believe in these walls the patients and staff make their lives better with the warmth they create . Again, who knows how long we have to endure here? Some days we just want to "stop fighting the good fight." Then we remember all those that are around us, we have so much to give. Kindness and love are what we need to deliver and show others how to live. And to be loved. They always say, "you have your health." This last year it's seemed blow after blow, being isolated and feeling my own pain it feels like dark. On every occasion that I've visited here especially, the lab the staff and other patients have always brought a smile to my heart. There is no judgement here. We all struggle. We all fight the good fight . We should spread kindness whenever possible. I have had too many close calls and encounters in life that I've been given. If today was your last chance would you keep on? Would you just give up. Mind you I don't have the struggles with cancer, my alignment is anemia. It's again on the other spectrum from cancer, anemia for whatever reason makes inconsistency in the body too. The deprivation of oxygen to the brain and heart are let's say's, "not great." This last year, five iron infusions and the intolerances that come from iron not made in the body is rough. Here I stand. I stand stronger, I'm not sure why? We are not to ask the why? We are going to keep reaching for the stars and making it happen each and everyday. Bring the energy of light and love to heal others. Never forget the "good fight." Even in the dark we can make it . You must search for the beacon. Follow the path and you will find the road.

I do not have cancer but I did have a few issues with blood clots, so I was referred to see Dr. Nguyen, as he is a hematologist as well as an oncologist. The location is nice. I've come to this medical center quite a few times, in other offices, so I'm glad CCC was here, for my comfort and for how easy the parking lot is. The waiting room has a good amount of seats, even if some people think it's a bit small. I love the fact that you can get your blood drawn here and that you can make an appointment for that. Every person I encountered, from the financial adviser, to the medical assistants, to the lab techs, to the doctor, is kind, supportive and helpful. I especially have to give a shout out to Dr. Nguyen. This man is not only professional and knows his stuff, but he seems to deeply care for people on a very personal level. I joked with my husband after my last appointment that I wonder if he writes down all of our info or if he has a super computer in his head and just remembers. I mean he literally remembers our conversations, even though they are months apart. Seeing me after my honeymoon, he remembered where we went and what pastry I wanted to get. That's how personable and comforting and caring he is. I truly believe he's so genuine about not only wanting to help you heal but making you happy. Scheduling an appointment is easier than easy and any time adjustment is needed, that's easy too. I wish all medical practices were run this way, I'd be way better at caring for my health then.

I love how quickly I am called back after checking in how friendly the staff is but I don't like misinformation and the feeling of being dismissed! The nurses seem to be running around trying to figure out what's going on! One of the nurses complained they are understaffed and the top floor of the hospital isn't even open!! So patients who are admitted may have to spend days on an uncomfortable and cold gurney in the ER! It took everything for me to get my husband to finally go to the ER for soreness and a rash that developed on his nose after being exposed to gasoline fumes at work. Things went well in the beginning. The doctor looked at his nose, asked a few questions and said he would run some tests, take some images, and prescribe something for the pain and irritation. He was a bit rushed but we trusted him! Once we were called back to a room, we never saw the doctor again!!! Every 30 to 45 minutes, I stopped a nurse to ask if they can provide Tylenol or something for my husband's pain and discomfort, each nurse said "I"ll check" and was never heard from again! He remained in uncomfortable pain for hours!! Blood was drawn although we were told they aren't equipped with the right tests for chemical poisoning! His blood came back with no traces of poisoning based on their substandard test! Then workman's comp paperwork was given to my husband, he filled it out and the doctor, with his limited knowledge, said he could not see the correlation between my husband's symptoms and exposure to harmful gas fumes! Really?!? The State of Nevada Poison Control website says differently!!! So he made the paperwork invalid!! Needless to say the doctor never followed up or even bothered to ask if we had questions! We were asked to leave the room and sit in the waiting area so they could keep the room available for new patients! The wait room was empty?!? And umm.. my husband was still a patient in need of care!! His pain wasn't a good enough reason?!? So he sat in the waiting area with a needle for an IV in his arm and was eventually discharged by the front desk?!? Needless to say, my husband did not get a prescription for the pain in his nose that spread to his upper lip and forehead, the blood test was inadequate, and the workman's comp paperwork was insufficient! And if there was any chance of me ever getting my husband to go to the doctor again, it was lost on this lengthy, disappointing, and expensive visit!! He left the same way he arrived and muttered "This was such a waste of time and money!"

He told me my results were old and left almost immediately after that (I'm sure you can guess which Doctor it is, as it seems past reviews have mentioned him). I didn't even get a chance to ask any questions, which felt dehumanizing. Neither did he even notice that I was flagged for *Pre-Diabetes** on my blood test (huge concerning indicator for me, since I have family history of Diabetes)!!! That being said, this is a 5 star review because Nurse Ina and the front desk supervisor, Angie, turned this horrible experience into an amazing one. Angie comforted me as I was crying over the experience and with the advice from Nurse Ina, did everything in her power to help resolve the situation. She went above and beyond! I left that Doctor consultation on the verge of tears and then left the office crying happy ones. I was so ready to find a new Dr's office, but Angie and Nurse Ina (who deserve a raise!) were so spectacular that I am absolutely excited for my next appointment. Thank you to Angie and Nurse Ina. I sincerely hope that you are rewarded by upper management for the kindness and care you treated me with. If it weren't for you, I would no longer be a patient. As for the Doctor in question, I hope no other patients have to go through what I went through. I hope after this experience, he understands that patients take time out of their day to see a Doctor, the least he can do is ask if they have any questions. No one deserves to come out of an office visit feeling utterly neglected.

I wish I could give this office ZERO stars. The way my father and our family were treated during…read morethe most frightening and vulnerable time of our lives was absolutely unacceptable. My father was seriously ill with cancer, and instead of receiving urgency, compassion, communication, and follow-through from an oncology office, we were given the runaround. I repeatedly tried to get help and answers while watching my father get sicker, and I felt like I had to fight every step of the way just to get people to do what they said they were going to do. Two people in particular made this experience even worse. Angie, the office manager: I contacted this office desperately trying to advocate for my sick father. Instead of focusing on HIS situation and helping me resolve the problems with his care, Angie spent an inappropriate amount of our conversation telling me about her own personal problems and circumstances, seemingly looking for sympathy from me. I was the daughter of a man with cancer begging an oncology office for help. That was not the time to put your personal problems on my shoulders. I needed an office manager who cared about what was happening to my father and who was willing to take responsibility and get something done. Alisha: There was a complete lack of follow-through, and when I continued calling because things were not being handled, I was actually told that I needed to "let people do their job." I will never forget those words. I WAS trying to let people do their jobs. The problem was that things were not getting done, and my father's health was deteriorating while I was being told to essentially back off. This wasn't a delayed haircut, a restaurant reservation, or paperwork that could wait. This was my father's LIFE. He had cancer. Time mattered. My father has now passed away. And what makes this even more unbelievable is that, after everything that happened, this oncology office STILL has not even followed up on him or our family. Not a call. Not an acknowledgment. Nothing. I understand that medical offices are busy. I understand that employees are human and have their own lives and problems. What I cannot understand or excuse is a lack of urgency, accountability, compassion, and follow-through when you work in ONCOLOGY and families are depending on you during some of the worst days of their lives. I will live with the loss of my father for the rest of my life, and I will also remember how helpless and dismissed this office made me feel while I was desperately trying to advocate for him. Families dealing with cancer deserve better than this. My father deserved better than this.
