The dentist was gentle, patient, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I was honestly scared for no reason -- everything went smoothly, pain-free, and way better than I ever imagined. I walked out wondering why I'd been so worried in the first place. I was told by my regular dentist that I needed to have my upper right molar extracted and replaced with an implant. Wanting a second opinion, I booked an appointment and visited this place. The dentist here was incredibly friendly and provided detailed explanations. They even identified a problem that my regular dentist had missed. However, the cost of an implant here is more expensive than in other places. I was quoted $4,300 for the extraction, bone graft, and implant, whereas I had received a quote for $2,000 elsewhere. I would prefer to have the procedure done here if the prices were similar. But the significant difference in cost has left me indecisive. read more

Please read..I am putting out a warning to everyone who plans to try this place or is currently a patient here. They are SCAMMERS! My elderly mother who was in a terrible need of dental procedures tried this place on a whim, only to be taken advantage of by these horrible, unprofessional people. Supposedly there's this ghost coordinator lady, who consulted my mother regarding the cost of the procedures and led her to believe it was going to be a certain amount and then after a few treatments, they started demanding more money in thousands of dollars. Outraged, my mother demanded to talk to the coordinator lady who initially consulted her, but they claim that she's not there and nowhere to be found. These people took advantage of my poor mother, who's spending money that she's saved over the years on social security and trusted them to take care of her needs. They took advantage of the fact that she's old and in pain. You would think that these people would have mothers too. I'm more than enraged by how my mother was treated and put forth a warning to everyone out there. They are waiting for a lawsuit. read more

After a following visit, I had to add some detail as to why the current Brite dental deserves 5 stars. Dr Jeung was patient and gracious even when I changed what I requested for filling work done. Explained the different options to me in a straightforward manner unlike what is mentioned in reviews for the previous operators. Dr. Jung was very professional and has explained thoroughly the process of my implant. For the preservation of my tooth ridge, she performed proper and careful procedure. I am in the middle of the implant procedure now. So far, the bone graft is successfully growing and settled in the area where my tooth was extracted. When I read the reviews in this post, most negative reviews were done before she operated the business. Somewhat, I concern these kinds of unfair and previous reviews may hurt her great professionalism. The price is fair and reasonable. Especially, when they perform the prophy, it was completely different than my previous experiences with other places. This was like a deep cleaning but 1/4 price. The lady spent more than one hour for the job. All employees are kind and ready to help you. I wish this office will be successful in this great difficult time. Best of luck. read more

Don't go here. While the assistants were very nice, the administrative lady is a CHEAT and a SCAMMER. Like the other folks who reviewed this place below, they tried to convince me to pay $110 dollars more than I needed to. I passed on the ridiculously expensive price for standard fillings she quoted me to go home & check my benefits. Sure enough: all lies. Also was charged for services that are supposed to be no cost. *SO*SHADY* My cleaning was about 100 times worse than what I'm used to from my family dentist at home. Maybe I'm old school, but I expect every tooth to get some attention. Dood was young & lazy. They are racist and dirty. I arrived early for my appt. the receptionist was even there yet. She arrives late. Takes the Korean ppl who were AFTER ME before me and gives excuse that their appts are shorter. Yet one is getting whitening The new dentist comes in barely speaks English. They take me in back. It's dirty. Hasn't been swept. Then he says after waiting ten min for him to show up I see you have a cavity. U have to come back to fix. I don't have time now. I'm like y clean my teeth just for me to come back. ill just come back. Nice guy tho. Then when I ask to be validated the racist receptionist is like I don't have enough for you. Only thirty min. I've been there for an hour cause her ass was late. And she took ppl before me and now they wouldn't even validate me for my freaking time I wasted. I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. I had an absolutely incredible experience here. Everyone was lovely, Dr. Lee is awesome, and THEY LITERALLY SAVED ME EIGHTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. Wow, do I have a story for you. So I got a lifebooker deal for a teeth whitening, x-rays, and exam from Wilshire Smile Studio, and since it's been about a year since I've been to the dentist, i figured I could use a cleaning. Well when I got there, it was a nightmare (those details are for another yelp review), and they basically bullied me into scheduling a deep cleaning, and told me that i needed 2 root canals, 3 crowns, and twelve fillings, which would total around $20,000. WHAT!? so, I was freaking out, crying, and the lady kept telling me in her saccharine-y sweet voice that they could work out a payment plan, etc. etc. and that I'm welcome to go get a second opinion, but that what's-his-name is the best and I REALLY shouldn't wait or i might die. Well, I'm pretty sure she wasn't actually expecting me to go get a second opinion, because they were absolutely full of shit. I went to Brite Dental on a recommendation of a friend who used to ride BMX with Dr. Lee. First of all, how cool is that? I got there, parked in the parking structure (free validation, btw) and was greeted by the gorgeous and super sweet Asian girl at the front desk. I brought my x-rays from my disaster of a treatment, and was taken care of right away. Dr. Lee took the time to show me exactly where on each tooth the cavities were (I DO have quite a few cavities to be filled), and even explained all of that dental abbreviation jargon for me. Consensus? NO root canals needed. NO crowns needed. The grand total? $1,895. With no insurance. Um, what? They LITERALLY saved me over $18,000. And then Dr. Lee grouped the fillings in order of priority for me so I can schedule them according to the money I can afford to pay. They are SO accommodating, SO lovely, and really honest and fair. I am so grateful and SO excited I'm finally taking care of these damn cavities. you will NOT be disappointed. read more

The service and treatment were fine but the receptionist tried to charge $5 copay even though yearly cleanings are covered under my dental plan. After an argument I did not pay. This is the second time I have had to go over this with them. A call to the dental insurance policy seems to be in order. Why would I come here if they were not going to follow the terms of the insurance provider? One star deducted. I have been trying to make an appointment with this office for a couple of weeks now. EVERY single time I call, I get a recording... "... the office is closed." It's 2:00pm. **New Management** i had a very pleasant experience at this very large and clean dentist office located in a huge office building with plenty of underground parking. the staff was extreamly friendly and helpful to all of my questoins, especially the dentist i saw, ..dr. John Lee. Dr. Lee was super patient, professional and super observant for the care of my teeth. After a couple of xrays, Dr. Lee showed me where I was begining to develop cavities and which areas I should be careful of if I didn't take care of them. I ended up getting a deep cleaning from him which was fantastic. My teeth look and feel pearly white!! I ended my consultation with Dr. Lee teaching me how to brush properly and recommending me to toothpastes that fit what I needed. I believe I'm going to be regularly taking care of my teeth every 6 months with him from now on =) Overall, great experience. I feel like I was well looked after. This office likes to recommend optional treatment that's not covered under your insurance plan. I needed several crowns. And they wanted to do gold even though my plan only covers base metal and I don't have any allergies to base metal. So there was no medical/dental reason I couldn't get the base metal crowns which were covered under my plan with no co-pay. They refused to do it unless I got gold which they would charge me $700 each for. So I had to transfer to another office where I had the same problem! I finally was transferred by my insurance company to a 3rd dentist who's honest and caring and didn't try to rip me off like this office did! read more

I have Delta Care and I was assigned this dentist under my plan eventhough it was 30 minutes away from my home. I made an appointment for a teeth cleaning and their office called 2 days before my appointment to confirm my appointment. When I showed up, on time, the receptionist told me I was not on their list as an insured. To add insult to injury they refused to validate my parking. When I asked for the dentist, he told the receptionist to go ahead an validate but then she said they were out of stickers. read more

Update - I no longer give 5 Stars unless I am blown away. Their Admin service has been off recently. Original - I have been going to Brite Dental for 6 years. They have a really modern office with video screens everywhere. They are very friendly and professional. If you want a non insurance covered item like whitening, they have great prices. read more

first time going to this dentist i chose from my plan. i didn't like this place. the dentist seemed a bit creepy.....was making small talk and at one point during my cleaning said something like "no pain no gain right?" i felt right at ease....yea right! he didn't really do a good job. the worst part was that they were trying to charge ALOT of money for the dental work i supposedly needed- i later found out from my insurance carrier that all that stuff should be free! nope! not going back there again....chg'd dentist right away! read more
