I asked for a quote via the website and within a few hours I got a quote from Karen Richman. She was responsive and helpful the entire process, never once felt upsale pressure which is normal from Car Dealers. I asked for the same from Ken an Joes in Santa Clarita and they massively increased their asking price, obviously trying to take advantage of ignorant buyers. However, Karen never once attempted to increase the sale price, instead did all she could to lower the price, gaining a very happy buyer. The finance process was quick. In and out in 1 hour. I am a long time service customer at this dealership, and have been very pleased with the customer service I receive when taking both my motorcycles here. Alex in service is especially good, and most of the service department has track bikes that they ride themselves, so they are very knowledgeable when it comes to working on my track bike. I purchased a motorcycle from this location a few years back and purchased a tire warranty. Please don't get swindled into the add on's. First off, customer service at this location is terrible. They will ignore you, the service department is very unprofessional, will avoid your calls and treat you like garbage. I don't see how this location is still in business. I attempted to utilize the tire warranty back in May, I soon learned that they are unwilling to support. I escalated to the "General Manager" (who has zero control) over the service department. And was assured that I would be reimbursed. Here we are months later with zero resolution. I basically threw 500 dollars in the garbage, this is a pipe dream warranty basically. I advise you not to support this business as I am thoroughly frustrated and tired of the games they have played. Very disappointing. read more

This is the best dealership of BMW or KTM motorcycle in town. They have the largest inventory ( running low now because of European production issues) and the sales dept run by Gigi with KC and Karen in the trenches will answer all the questions. KC who is an avid biker will answer all the technical questions and Karen who supervises the apparel section knows her jackets helmets and gloves! Now the parts is also friendly and willing to help and the service is as knowledgeable and sympatico. What is not to like ! Got my Tesla side mirror mashed by a truck, and worried about it gonna take 3 months to fix in Tesla collision center (my friend's experience). Found BMW collision center fix Tesla too and came in, Carlos is professional and highly experienced, found the part and got everything done in 24 hours, the whole process is smooth as butter, I even got touch up on the damaged paint. This has been one of the worst experiences getting service. Alex in the service department ordered the wrong rear tire for my bike. The mechanic still installed it and sent me on my way. When I realized it was wearing down my fender I knew something was wrong. My bike was also considerably slower. After having them order the correct tire I made the mistake in having them do the service. There are now multiple and very new chips on my wheel. Also, the 2nd weight they had to reinstall was placed diagonally. I don't know how this service department hasn't been shut down by KTM or BMW. read more

The service department is terrible. They don't answer the phone and they don't have any way to make an appointment for the service you will need 2 months after you buy a bike from them. Something I did not know is that BMW motorcycles have a 600 mile initial service interval. When the alert came up on the bike, I contacted the dealership. They don't answer the phone, they ignore messages. This is two months after I bought the bike from them! I will not return to this business. I went to New Century Motorcycles to get the KTM Duke 200. I looked everywhere and they were the only one who has them. As soon as requested a quote, they contacted me immediately. Karen Rickman made the purchase process so easy. She even made sure that my elderly mom is ok. She gave her water and cookies. Then I had the bike delivered as I have no way of riding it home. I've only had a handful of experiences at dealerships and have only bought one car/vehicle brand new. It was a terrible experience at a certain Mazda dealership (not the old one in Alhambra). My experience at New Century has been great every time I come. They are upfront, honest, and respectful. Although I've never been since this location is quite a drive away for me, they host a few cool events like bike nights and such throughout the year. Shoutout to Gigi! She definitely made this experience what it is. I was searching for a 2022 KTM RC390 for about a week. Most of the local dealers near me were providing outrageous OTD quotes. They would advertise a discount and then add a ADM resulting in 0 discounts and it actually being more than MSRP. I was also a prior customer of these dealerships and was provided no loyalty which was disappointing. I then put in a request on cycletrader with a offer on 2022 KTM RC90 at New Century. KC emailed me back with a counter offer beating any other dealer. We wrapped it up the next day and now I am proud owner of KTM RC90. KC was personable and has quite the the motorcycle collection. You can really see he is passionate about motorcycles. That is the type of individual I like to do business with! I had a truly dreadful experience leaving my bike with New Century BMW Motorcycles. Communication with Alex or Girardo is near impossible as they never answer the phone and it seems that the only way to get in contact with someone in service is to call the sales department instead and tell them it's an important message. They took over a week to inform me of the diagnostic, and then another 2 weeks for them to quote me on a repair. The quote they gave me was way over what I had calculated. I believe this is because they wanted to charge me 13 hours of labor for a 3 hour job. When I decided I wanted to cancel the job that they still hadn't started and take my bike elsewhere, they told me that they needed to charge me $75/day for storing the bike with them. Eventually I got them to return the bike but when they put the bike together, the mechanic "forgot" to put all 4 spark plugs back on the bike. I believe this was intentional and a way for them to get back at me for canceling the job. I never write reviews on Yelp, but I feel like I need to warn others so that they don't have to go through this nightmare. read more

Was my first time here and was impressed how helpful and courteous everyone was. Was informed of other services my Kawasaki could use and given a quote but not at all pushy about getting it done. I normally can't stand any type of dealerships. They make the process so time consuming and painful. So, I was a bit wary of taking a test ride on a new Zero. I was worried they would not let me leave afterward. Instead, they did not pressure me at all. Anyway, after going to try two other bikes, I decided to come back and buy the SR/F. They also gave me a fair trade in value on my Triumph T120. Karen was polite and patient through the process, if a little hard to get in touch with. Where do I begin? I won't get into all the nightmares I've experienced with this place, (like, they sucked all the pleasure out of motorcycle ownership for me), but I will give you one detail. They replaced the swing arm (among other things) on my 2017 r ninet because someone ran the bike over while it was parked. When they finally (and I mean 5 months later) finished all the work they called to tell me it would be ready the next day, but then the pickup date was delayed because they were "having trouble with the rear end." I picked up a couple of days later and was told it was fine. A couple of weeks later the bearings in the rear wheel seized up because as I learned later, the swing arm had been improperly installed. Like Michael P below, I was *beyond beyond* fortunate that I was driving slowly just leaving my studio, and not going at speed on the freeway. I don't even want to think about it. Well it was time to call GIGI at new century Bmw!!!! I saw the beautiful new R 1250 GS AND ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE! I currently had a 2016 racing red XR1000 R Bmw which was my baby but I needed to trade in to make room for the new bike. GIGI said let me work!! And not only did she give me beyond fair trade in value the bmw team there treated me like family and got me the best deal In town and believe me I looked . I tell them what I want to pay, they say they can or we can't and we agree on something and I'm out the door with a new bike every time. In and out in an hour every time I've bought a bike. I've bought 3 helmets here and the 3rd helmet brought me here again. I had never met Karen and I had the pleasure this time around. She just made the process seamless and was very accommodating. Service: Well thankfully, I haven't taken any bikes for service here yet, but judging by all other BMW dealers, it doesn't sound like it will be good. I have communicated with the service manager and he appears so-so. If they promise you anything, make sure you get in writing. I would proceed with caution. Sales: I have never bought anything here, but Gigi appears genuinely nice, helpful, and has a relatively good understanding of BMW products. I would steer clear of the other salespeople, especially the other asian guys if you are an international student or have money (don't get ripped off). Observing these other salesmen interacting with other asian customers in the store (my gf is Chinese so could translate), ehhh.....I would avoid getting taken advantage of. Probably best to deal with Gigi only. Parts: Well, I think there are two parts guys. One, I have no complaints about. The other is Danny who is a real motorcycle enthusiast and always super cool and helpful. Will do my best to update in the future with any additional experiences. read more

Completely non-existent customer service. Walked in yesterday looking to purchase a helmet and there were two sales people at their desks looking at their cell phones. None of them even bothered to look up to acknowledge my presence. Mind you the showroom was empty so it's not like they were packed with customers, etc... so I spend a good 15-20 minutes wondering around their apparel section. I think maybe the guy at the parts counter can help so I walk up and guess what? There's a service writer just chatting away with the parts guy about some party he is going to. From top to bottom, everybody was friendly, accommodating and easy to deal with. If you do business here, buyer beware of salesperson named KC. He's no better than a used car salesman and won't return my calls now...pick another salesperson. He will roll out the red carpet for you and make you feel special for the sale. Any follow-up customer service after the sale is obsolete, and he's also dishonest. I purchased a new 2016 R Nine T in late December of 2017, and he told me (my best friend was with me as a witness) that the first 600 mile service would at no-cost to me. Today, I took it in for just that, and he claims it was a misunderstanding. That it is a perk for only "demo" vehicles. He completely lied to my and my best friend present. I left a VM for the office manager, Steven Pan, and I am not sure if I will hear back from him to make this right. This is about principal and customer loyalty. Ruben in the service department was the only positive of all this, as he remained positive and helpful during this fiasco today. Thank you Ruben. Buy if you'd like--but get any promises in writing and avoid KC. I called the boys at Moto Club of Santa Monica after being recommended to them by a trusted friend (he said what KC pulled on me was BS, perhaps since I am a female he got away with this) and they completely heard me out, apologized for New Century BMW, stayed professional and told me to come in and they'd take care of me.
