    519. Sweet and Sour Chicken Dinner with 343. Garden Fresh Vegetables
    Bailey P.

I love Chinese food and decided to switch things up and try someplace new. Unfortunately, I can't say I will be a returning customer at New China Hut. We ordered take-out on a Saturday night. They said it would take 30-40 minutes to be delivered but it didn't come until over an hour later. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken dinner. The chicken was warm and crispy but only came with one tiny container of sweet and sour sauce which was barely enough for half the chicken. It also came with an egg roll and TON of white rice. Half the platter was rice and it came with another small box of rice on the side. The rice was on the dry side too. We also ordered garden fresh vegetables. I can't say they seemed very fresh though. To me, it was equivalent to the bottom of a bag of frozen vegetables that were microwaved a bit too long.

We order from here at least once every 1-2 months. We have 5 adults and 3 kids so we usually order 7 entrees. The food is amazing delicious EVERY time. Large portions. Fabulous seasoning. I don't know what other people are talking about. All I know is we drive from Sugar grove to pick up food here. The salt and pepper shrimp, orange chicken, sesame chicken, and house lo mien, shrimp fried rice, egg drop soup - all of it was delicious. Only thing I'm missing is the wonton strips for my egg drop soup and my 5yo granddaughter was disappointed that we didn't get fortune cookies. (Her dad told her she'd get over it. I agree ) We will

Better than expected. It has gotten a lot of bad reviews but the last time it turned out fairly okay. New China Hut has a few locations and this one is in Aurora on River Street. Has pretty typical Chinese restaurant items. The menu also has a few vegetarian friendly choices including tofu. Came in recently to get carryout. It seems like it gets most business this way as there's never anyone inside. They seem to prefer this. A lot of times we came by the inside is closed. There's only a couple of inside tables. I ordered the Kung Pao Tofu at lunch. It's $11.35 for the only portion. This is one of the few vegetarian friendly choices here, and the only with tofu and not just vegetables. It only comes in the one size, as large. This has green peppers, mushrooms, onions, pea pods, and peanuts in a spicy Szechuan sauce. After eating it, both of us agreed it was much better than expected. The freshness others had problems from wasn't an issue. Good lunch meals at least the last time we came here. It has basic typical Chinese stuff and just a few vegetarian friendly options. This place has inside seating but mostly is takeout.

The food had very little flavor and chicken was mushy. The rice was not fried rice- it had zero vegetables or eggs it tasted like rice with soy sauce. I couldn't figure out what meat was in the egg roll but I definitely couldn't went without. They had great customer service and I was pleasantly surprised with their delivery service.

Spent $58 in this place , the women ( the owner) was very rude I ordered chicken wings amongst order things but the chicken smelled It's OK, thank you horrible ( spoiled) so I returned the wings but not the rest of the food and she refused to accommodate me ... I'll never go back here ... shouldn't never order in the 1st place do to her rude attitude and behavior

Oh my lawd! Today I tried the " spicy chicken with pepper and garlic sauce, lo mein". It's so freaking good! Spicy and flavorful. I walked over, placed the order, and a few minutes later I had a delicious lunch to bring home. Service was fast and perfect for my work from home day. The lunch special comes with an egg roll and fortune cookie. Family friendly atmosphere. John is always pleasant at the register. He knows everyone and their usual orders. Highly recommend!

This is casual Chinese but the interior is nicer than most Chinese restaurants. We ordered crab rangoon, crispy shrimp with lemon sauce, twice cooked pork, baby bok choy with garlic, smoked tea duck, and boiled sole fish fillet in spicy Szechuan sauce. Service was good. Food came out fast. It wasn't very busy on a Sunday evening. Prices were fair for the portions. Overall about a 3.5 out of 5. -crab rangoon 5 - big pieces with a lot of filling inside. -crispy shrimp with lemon sauce 5 - this reminds me of walnut shrimp but with lemon flavor. Shrimp was crunchy. -twice cooked pork 3 - This was decent but it didn't have a lot of pork in it. A lot of vegetables but I wanted more pork. -baby bok choy with garlic 5 - vegetables were soft not soggy., -smoked tea duck 5 - pieces had a good amount of meat. I could really taste the smoky flavor. -boiled sole fish fillet 4 - not too spicy. This was a very good dish but I wished they added more fish in it.

Lucky Panda is one of the many restaurants in strip malls in this part of town. Has a lot of the common items. There's beef and chicken of course, as well as tofu for healthy options. A lot of customers seem to get carryout. It's got a pretty big dining room if you want to eat inside. There's also a gaming section with a few slots. As for the food it's basic. It's about $14 for an entree. Portions are kind of big though. Has some that are spicy. We got the Kung Pao Tofu. Came with quite a few pieces of tofu in it. Too bad these were kind of burnt and tough. Had a good variety of vegetables including carrots and peas. The meal was pretty okay but they didn't understand we were eating in and they made it to go, so we ate it out of the bag at a table. For sure there's many Chinese restaurants that are much better. I'm hoping this isn't a new trend because I've otherwise enjoyed ordering from here.
