I had been wanting to do laser hair removal forever but never went for it. I was never sure who to go to. I have previously gotten a facial/dermaplane at Sound Shapes (and loved it!) so when I saw they had a sale on laser hair removal I went for it -- and I'm so glad I did! It was done by Sarah, who was so nice and explained everything to me, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time - and the best part is that it didn't hurt really at all! Theresa and sound shapes are the best. I got to Sound Shapes for regular treatments and I absolutely love it. I love the convenience of it being right in the north end. Then Theresa saved the day the week of my wedding. I had an unwanted acne breakout and so did my mother. Because this woman is so knowledgable, patient, empathic, honest and caring ...that she's like a damn saint! But she definitely doesn't look like a dried up old nun. She looks - for her age or for any age: incredible. Radiant. Gorgeous. Full of life. That's the type of professional I trust with my skin. Kayla is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She answered all of my questions and gave honest advice about what she would recommend for my age/skin type. After the service she wrote down some of the key ingredients I should look out for when buying new skincare products and gave more information on other services I was interested in learning more about. This April 15 was my 7th Boston Marathon in a row. I am so lucky to have Sound Shapes help me the day before the race. Theresa, was so accommodating to my schedule! I had a Meyers Cocktail (which is an IV that pumps your body with fluids). If it wasn't for having that IV from Theresa I know for sure I wouldn't have done as well as I did. Around mile 10 the sun came out that morning and the rain from earlier in the day caused it to feel like running in a sauna. It was very humid and hot! Thank goodness Sound Shapes got me marathon ready the day before. I highly recommend Sound Shapes to anyone running a marathon, next year and beyond! I have just had my first visit today at Sound-Shapes. I usually wouldn't get into detail in this sense, but I feel like putting it out there on how great this staff is would be nothing short of needed. Now, as an individual who identifies as female but was burdened without that body, these women took me in and worked with clearing the Brazilian zone. Initially, I feel a sense of anxiety due to having them doing something that would typically be very uncomfortable for most technicians, but Kayla made it a point to make me feel as relaxed as possible. Theresa, the owner of the studio came and introduced herself to me as well and made extra sure that I wasn't uncomfortable. They were very patient and open to requests and suggestions as needed. I walked out of there with a smile. I really did. The appointment was very last-minute and these two women really brought what it means to be customer oriented to the table. I went to this place because of all of these high reviews and I will say, these reviews are spot on. In short, if you need to get any services that are performed by this clinic, come here. I love this place! Theresa is so kind and gentle and takes her time with the services she does. She uses numbing cream which helps with the pain if you are having tattoo removal. I have been other places and they do not! She even leaves you sitting with ice after to make sure your skin cools down before sending you out the door. I have had the bioidentical hormone pellet therapy which has really balanced me out. I have friends that have gone elsewhere and not gotten good results. This VASER Shape Cellulite Reduction Treatment Center located in Boston's North End delivers on its promises. The was it works is that the technology removes fat - fat is what causes cellulite. So basically VASER Shape removes fat & cellulite which results in Body Sculpting / Shaping. So it is three results in 1. It took me 5 sessions to get the results I wanted but I noticed results after 1 session. I called around a lot and they offered the best pricing. They also offer free cellulite treatment consultation. I've did a ton of online research about cellulite removal and VASER Shape is the least invasive. It doesn't hurt at all. It really works. So if you are looking to get rid of fat & cellulite and don't want liposuction plastic surgery - this is the way to go. Just remember it may take more then one VASER Shape treatment to get the results you want. The Cellulite Treatment Center of Boston is professional and the space is beautiful. This is a great noninvasive way to lose inches. Most importantly the staff at Sound Shapes is helpful, supportive, and very well informed. I have not gone in for my treatment yet, but I feel extremely prepared and am looking forward to it. What woman or man wouldn't want to lose an inch off their waste in just 45 minutes? So when I saw a Living Social Deal for a Vaser Shape treatment, I did my research and bought the deal and met with Theresa at Sound Shapes for my consultation. Theresa was extremely honest and helpful, although I would see results from the one treatment I purchased if I had a series of a few more the results would be much more dramatic....Theresa was not a high pressure sales person type, rather a nurse giving very truthful and trusting advise. I have to say I am 100% thrilled with my results, so much so that I ended up purchasing a few more treatments for another area. I wish I had found this gem of a place years ago, Alyssa who performed my treatments is just a sweetheart. I first visited sound shapes to get some PCA products Bc they came up on PCA'S website. The space is cute and clean. They offered me a free facial to talk about my concerns with my skin. I saw kayla she is super nice and I felt comfortable with her and we talked like she was one of my friends. I then returned for a lash lift treatment. I've always wanted to get fake lashes or something to make them curled but was hesitate Bc I didn't want the up keep of it. I had the lash lift treatment done and it looks great, my lashes with mascara on (I have blonde lashes) look so curled and long. They look fake but in a good way! I immediately told a few friends and showed them mine. They all made an appt the next day. If your looking for great skin care or for your lashes to looked curled ( they lash up to 12 weeks from one time) then I would deff suggest going to sound shapes.
