Don't come here. I read the reviews and thought they even though they were pricier they would have the best service for the price in the neighborhood. Absolutely not. When I dropped my clothes off I requested pricing and the prices were mysteriously absent from their shop and they told me to check the website but their website shut down. Wtf? They also said they would give me a discount for 5 stars on Yelp (Now I understand the reviews). I was charged almost $150 for 8 dress shirts 3 t shirts. Insane. When I asked the guy he was adamant that those were the prices even though before he was hazy about them? One of the shirts was a vintage shirt I've had for almost 20 years. I asked them to be exceptionally careful and not to touch the graphic on the front. Before the graphic was in great condition, and now it's almost half peeled off with no explanation or apology. They lose all our daughter's socks, even when we put them in mesh bags. We know we aren't the only ones as we have socks from other families come home in our laundry. We've event had other men's underwear in our laundry! They also lost a couple of items of clothing. It's the cheapest option in the neighborhood and it's dependable, but the money we save goes into buying new socks and clothes they lose. read more

Great Price, Great Service. Nothing every messed up. I've only been doing business with them for about 3 months but compared to other cleaners i've been to who can charge 3x as much for some similar services, I'd say they work out more than quite well. I typically give them my T&A bespoke shirts, which I am very careful with, and they really do take good care of them. I had 3 very very very disappointing experience over the course of 1.5 years. The reason I kept going back is because of their inexpensive services. But as cliche as it might sound, you do get what you pay for. If you want to see your expensive suits or your nice dress shirts again, good luck with them. You can argue that maybe I got unlucky but these 3 incidences really really make me sick. 1. First incident happened to me when I asked them to tailor my Hugo Boss suit. They agreed and carefully took my measurement. When I got my "tailored" suit, the pants were too short and the jacket was too big. To make it worse, they completely cut off the "extra" fabrics and threw them away. Therefore, there was no way for me to fix the suit. Yes. Hugo Boss suit, see you! 2. After the first incident, since they apologized and made these innocent faces (YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT), I went back again for my laundry needs. (I was thinking, yes, everyone makes mistakes. So what. Now I think back, what an idiot I was). I used them to dry clean my nice dress shirts. When I got them, I realized one shirt was fixed with patches underneath the shirt. This means that they somehow broke my shirt, did not call me or left me a note to apologize, and patched it up in the hope that I won't realize and pretend that the shirt is normal. How messed up was that? When I went back to the store for an explanation, they said these things happen ALL THE TIME and "hey, we didn't charge you for the patching up work." LUCKY ME! 3. After the second incident, I have outsourced my tailoring and dry cleaning needs to another dry cleaner around the area. Although the new place charges a little more, I haven't had a single problem over the course of 1 year. However, due to New Fresh Clearners' inexperience price, I went back to them for my laundry needs. I thought if they can't get the tailoring or dry cleaning right, which is a job that needs some level of skills (maybe), they should able to clean and fold my T-shirts and underwear. Ha. They messed that up too. I don't know what happened but my whole bag of laundry all turned into purple. After these 3 accidents with them, I completely gave up on them and learned my lesson that incapable dry cleaner will make all the mistakes you can think of on ANY level: tailoring, dry cleaning, and even doing laundry. For those of you who can spend a little bit more and do not want to deal with these headache and troubles, go to another shop. read more

This is the best dry cleaning / laundry / tailoring service I've ever had in all my years living in NYC or other major cities around the world. I use them all the time for dry cleaning, wash and fold, and tailoring -- all great experiences. They pick up and deliver from my building in financial district and every time I call for them to pick up, the wonderful owner always knows exactly what apartment number I'm in before I can even say it! One time, the owner called me right away after a pick up to let me know the lining of my husband's suit jacket was falling apart so she couldn't dry clean it, but she'd be happy to sew it back together for a small price and then clean it. He totally needed that and just never got around to it, so it was fantastic she took the initiative to reach out and the quick fix was super cheap! Wonderful service! Always prompt and super helpful! If I ever have an issue or a question, they are quick to help and never put me off. I have sent them hundreds and I do mean hundreds of shirts over the course of 2 years and never had any complaints. I even had them dry clean my winter coats and my comforter, all of which, again done perfectly! They even put my comforter in a nice big plastic comforter container which I can reuse. They will pick up and drop off the clothes from your building depending on where you are located and even do same day service for free, as long as you get them the clothes early in the morning. They also called me right away when they found a stain on my husband's new shirt and than made sure to take it out without charging me extra! Woo! The hallmark of the quality of a business is how they respond when something goes wrong. That is how you build customer loyalty. Not responding properly to a difficult situation is how you lose customers. New Fresh Cleaners tore my shirts - I had two button down shirts with clean cuts on the left sleeve, at the exact same location. On 3/28 I stopped by the BPC New Fresh location to discuss this. The manager on duty insisted that this is how the shirts arrived. I brought the shirts in and showed him the exact same cut on two shirts - instead of accepting that this can't be a coincidence, he simply told me that was how they were received, and a lot of shirts get torn. I can appreciate the fact that Dry Cleaning services probably receive a lot of bogus claims of damage - but that doesn't mean you should dismiss the claims that may make sense. If there was just one shirt that was damaged I would probably accept that I probably just didn't notice it - but two shirts in the same load. I don't buy that. 1. The Manager told me that shirts tear a lot. Ive never had a shirt tear on the left sleeve, below the elbow. 2. In three years of using New Fresh Ive never had a shirt tear. Yet two in this single load? 3. The two shirts are torn in the exact same place - horizontal cuts on the left sleeve. When the shirts are hung on a hangar it is clear that they are in the exact same position. 4. The cuts are clean - they aren't rough or jagged. What I think happened is that someone had an accident - accidentally cut my shirts - but instead of owning up to it, figured they would say the shirts were received like that. I will never go to New Fresh again. There are many dry cleaning services out there. I encourage others to look for the alternatives. read more

I was planning on taking my clothes to the higher rated four seasons cleaners across the street, but they were closed. I decided to give Fresh Cleaners a try. When I see a bad review I am curious what happened so I will attempt to provide a balanced depiction since this is Fresh Cleaners first writeup. Pros: They did a very good job on my dress shirts and slacks. Launder and press was 2 dollars a shirt. The slacks were $5.75, the instructions on the slacks say launder, but I am guessing I was charged the dry clean price. The shirts had their sleeves pinned, and cardboard collar reinforcements which is exceptionally helpful when they were going into my carry on luggage. No fee for dropping off my order at my hotel the next evening. Cons: No clothing pickup option, and only average wash and fold service. There was a 10lb minimum for wash and fold costing a dollar a pound. The wash and fold was not at the same level of care as the dry cleaning. One of my polo shirts was returned with the collar folded as part of an interior fold, in a fashion that left the collar very crinkled. All of the others collared shirts were folded so their collars were on the top and not mashed. I expected all my shirts would be folded in the same manner and was surprised at the irregular one when I was putting my clothes away. read more

Found a yelp coupon to this neighborhood establishment. Service is excellent and the staff has gotten to recognize the family when we pass by. Turnaround time for local delivery is prompt and matches their estimates. They may end up rewashing your clothes if something doesn't get out the first time. Nice touch. I had a great experience here. I got the 10off coupon from yelp and dropped off a suit for alterations. This being the first suit I ever had altered I didn't know what to expect. I needed the bottom of the jacket hemmed, the pants hemmed, the sleeves shortened, and the sides takes in. The woman spent very much time with me and gave me suggestions on what might look the best for my body type. She was helpful and kind. After the suit was finished I tried it on and nothing needed to be fixed. It was measured, pinned, and worked on great and looks great. Thanks! read more

I don't even know how this place gets 4 stars! My boss sent over laundry and suits to be dry cleaned on a Monday to be ready on Wednesday at 6pm and when we went on Wednesday for pickup the clothes were still in the same bag that we sent them in. THEY NEVER WASHED THE CLOTHES!!! When I call to discuss the issue with one of the incompetent employees he explains that this is not very common, when in fact it is! Same thing with important business suits that were handed to them on the same day. We went to pick up two days later, as stated in the receipt and again, the suits are not ready! I highly recommend creating an account and choosing between the various options of machine pressing, hand pressing, etc. The only option not listed is a wash & hang service for pants not needing to be ironed but wrinkle if folded. All it took was one phone call and the pants were redone for free with the more expensive service at no additional cost. I came here back in December to get a cocktail dress and a blazer tailored. I told them where the garment needed to be taken in and they listened. Their tailoring fees are specific to the part of the garment you are altering (hem, shoulder, sleeve, etc.) but the tailor made sure I got the best possible deal. The dress took one week and the blazer took two and a half weeks with a fitting appointment in between. Afterwards, I wore the dress and blazer for a few months and I was very satisfied with the fit. I came back to dry clean my dress. Again, the price was very reasonable and it was ready to pick up in two days. The service was very good and the people are very courteous. I recently moved into the building and tried to give this Cleaners a fair shot but I am beyond displeased with their service. They have literally destroyed blankets, towels and bath rugs. When you call and explain the issue they repeatedly say they have never had a problem before and don't take any accountability. They say they outsource it and they put a special note to pay attention. Do not bring anything special to this cleaner. I brought a lovely new, only worn twice sweater in for cleaning. It was returned to me with a large tear in the sleeve. The clerk advised me to bring in my receipt for reimbursement. I found this cleaner through a Yelp Deal. I can't believe how fast they are and how thorough they were with cleaning all my items. I'm new in the neighborhood but after trying New Fresh Cleaners first I don't think I can go anywhere else. I came in with a sad bag of ripped seams and stained silk dresses and in less than 5 days I felt like I got a new wardrobe. They also deliver and pick up in the neighborhood. Convenience is good, but quality is lacking. My dress shirts came back with buttons broken, extra creases in the collar, and rolled collar tips. I had dress shirts laundered and returned with my wash & fold, and had my laundry bag lost and not retuned. After my inquiries, follow through by the staff was lacking as no research was conducted after 48 hrs of my original inquiry, even though the staff mentioned they would look into it.
