The employees need to learn their own store policy on the max amount of used oil they accept per…read moreday. Mind you this information can be found directly on their website which I included a photo of below. The employee argued with me about 5 gallons being too much. He insisted the policy was only 5 qt. He insisted they were a retail store not a mechanic shop. After arguing back and forth he eventually gave in and said he'll let me do it this one time. Here's where it gets interesting. 1. I called before going to the store and clearly indicated I had 5 gallons of used oil and if it was okay to drop it off. They said yes. 2. On the website it indicates 5 gallons per day limit. 3. NYC and NY state law clearly indicate all retailers and service station must accept 5 gallons of used motor oil or transmission oil per day; per person. It shouldn't have taken a back and forth argument just for me to drop the equivalent of 2 oil changes worth of oil. Employees need to be retrained on store policy and customer service.

If I could leave no stars I would do that. I came here for a hose clamp. Lemme say again a hose…read moreclamp. They didn't even have that, a universal piece. It says 93 in network 4 in store. Every employee I interacted with looked at me like I was asking them to commit murder. When they went and looked I guess the lady there was management, she said they got boxes filled up with stuff that they don't have time to go through right now. Shut it down or reevaluate your staff to see if they know what's happening in this store because everytime I come like everytime I leave nothing but disappointment and directions to another from the team or management. This also second review and I downloaded twice just because of this.

I called them back to see if I could return it. They said call in the morning. I called the next day and they would not take the seat back or offer me anything. It was an honest mistake. These people are not professional.

I found this place in my search for a fender for a 22 year old car on www.car-part.com. After a bad…read moreexperience with a Willets Point chop shop, I was wary when I was given a canned response to a question on the condition of the part over the phone. Yet, understanding it's nearly impossible to catalog and inspect every part of a junker, I decided to take the trip to Ridgewood anyway before giving in to thinner aftermarket steel. The guys here are friendly and genuinely helpful--a totally different experience in comparison to the one I had in Corona. The only downside is that these guys only have one or two people actually pulling parts in the back so prepare to wait 10-20 minutes or more if you walk in with a shopping list during a busy day. The fender they pulled for me had a light ding, but they didn't push and let me inspect it thoroughly. It really was in relatively good shape with no serious rust and I was given a truly unbeatable price. $350 new from Mercedes, ~$45 new aftermarket, $50 for genuine OE at this place which is cheaper than most, if not all, pick-a-part yards across the country. While their inventory is searchable online, not all the stuff they have on hand is cataloged. I went in expecting to return home with a light gray fender, but left with a maroon one from a different car instead. Give them a call even if nothing turns up online because they just might have what you need. I didn't know where to stick this last bit so here it is: parking in the area is a pain in the ass.
