Decided to come over for dinner. Everything we order was great (won ton soup, vegetable egg rolls, fried shrimp and rangoons). We particularly like the hot mustard which cleared our sinuses! Staff friendly, menu selection very good along with prices. Definitely will return.

It was my first time here because a friend recommended it since it's close to his place. We came here for lunch and it wasn't busy so we got seated right away. I noticed there were more take-outs than dining in. We ordered and the food came within 5 mins! The service was awesome! The food was delicious AND the price was amazing! I highly recommend this place! Thank you!

We love to go here for Chinese! Absolutely love their food. The lady that always serves us is so awesome she always is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is always very clean.

Chinese American food catered towards more towards American taste bud. Quality and quantity is good, though they do charge $3.50 for tea bags. General Tsao chicken wasn't crispy and it's white meat. Very passable. Walnut shrimp was 21-25 ct large shrimp and was rather tasty.

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Didn't feel like cooking tonight & had a random craving For foil wrapped chicken. Just my luck, they had it! I opted for a pickup order since I wasn't far away & Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and the man even gave my daughter some tasty almond cookies which was very sweet. Pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, broccoli beef, orange chicken, foil wrapped chicken. I ordered extra beef with the broccoli & it was definitely plentiful. There's not too many Chinese restaurants I've came across in skye canyon area that I'd re-order from but new grand China is most definitely some place I'd eat at again or make a delivery order. Speaking of delivery my order was packed up wonderfully. No spills & I just really appreciate stuff like that. If you're craving Chinese & haven't already tried this place, I highly recommend. Prices were more than fair. Especially for the quality.

Inside is clean the server and cashier are super friendly. Upon arrival your sat immediately asked what you would like to drink. Waters all round and a lemon smoothie with boba $4.50 had a great lemon flavor and boba was made perfectly. We had sweet and sour soup and egg drop soup cup price is $3.25 each for a small or $7.95 for a large bowl. Both soups were try to their flavors. As for appetizers we had veggie egg rolls, shrimp tempura and foil wrapped chicken. The shrimp and egg rolls didn't taste or looked like they were house made. The foiled wrapped chicken was good just stuck to the foil so you had to be-careful peeling it from the foil to not eat foil. Also the server brought out free fried wonton pieces with sweet and sour sauce nice to pair with your soup. Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings: $9.95 Good crisp to the Chicken the salt and pepper flavoring wasn't so much on the chicken, but sautéed with onion and jalapeños on a bed of cabbage. Was decent. Orange chicken: $11.95 Not to crunchy the sauce had a cinnamon flavor and smell to it. Slight taste of orange with a slight tang to it. House Chow Mein: $11.95 Was stir fried well it had a variety of proteins, shrimp that was cooked perfect, sliced beef, sliced chicken and bbq pork. It was good... House Fried Rice: $9.50 Mixed proteins like the chow mein smaller pieces mixed in. It was good. If you use cash and is over the price of $35.00 than you get free cheese wontons (6 pieces). Just make sure to let your server know. We didn't get everything al la Carte we ordered the family dinner that's for 2-4 people $35.95 we had tons of food extra between 2 children and 2 adults.

Tonight, we tried this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, we arrived a little bit closer to closing (about 40 minutes before) than we would typically. However, upon arriving we were given a warm welcome and sat for dinner. I ordered crab rangoon for an appetizer. It was very tasty. The orange beef came with white rice. It was a good portion and delicious. Also, I experienced their fantastic mango slushie. It was so refreshing. Our food was very good, prices were reasonable, and we had great friendly service. We will definitely go back.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of the owner?

Ask when you're at restaurant or call. Otherwise, you may be able to find out who the owner is from public records. I'm unsure if that will provide any of their contact information.

Are they only open for takeout and delivery or can you eat in restaurant?

We got there ahead two tables, but both were served first and got their food first. When ordering, they even had to ask us who arrived first (Which was my table and logistically I'd imagine they had a better track of) but still was served last. Lastly, we had to wait 20 minutes (not very busy at the time) just to get the check which was a pain considering the slow service at the start.

The first time we ordered the duck, fried rice, the salted egg yolk prawns, noodles, the eggplant (my favorite). I loved everything except the duck. I did not enjoy that as it was a little too far from the roasted duck I was expecting. The service is friendly for a Chinese restaurant and the food comes fast and piping hot and I really enjoy that you can see the chefs making your food. It really adds to the ambiance and know that your food is freshly made. After watching some videos of what other people liked to order, I decided to get the crispy beef and that single dish is life changing. If you order nothing else at chinamama, order the crispy beef. Its sweet. Its savory. Its crispy. Its honestly perfect. If I were to only eat that and the eggplant for the rest of my life, I would be happy.

This is a tiny, no-frills restaurant, but the food and customer service were both excellent. I came here with my Taiwanese parents, and one thing I really appreciated was that our server switched to Mandarin while taking their order. It made the whole experience feel so welcoming. We ordered the duck and chicken combo, the duck and BBQ pork combo, the crispy noodle combo, and the wonton soup with duck. Every dish was delicious. The duck and BBQ pork were juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of richness. The gai lan was cooked perfectly--tender but not mushy. The noodles were packed with flavor, and the sauce wasn't overly salty. My mom especially loved the wontons and kept saying they tasted fresh and homemade. The restaurant itself is tiny, probably only around eight tables, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups much larger than four. The decor is adorable though--it feels like you're sitting on a little street corner in Hong Kong. If you're looking for quality duck and noodles without any fuss, this place absolutely delivers. I'd happily come back the next time I'm in Las Vegas.

We ordered the two-item combo with roasted duck and honey-glazed BBQ pork, along with wonton soup and chow mein. Everything was delicious, especially the duck. The wonton soup was also very flavorful, although I wish it had come with a few more wontons. I also thought the vegetables paired really well with the meals. The restaurant is a bit small and cramped, so it may not be the best place to dine with a large group. The service was quick, although we did feel a little rushed, likely because of the limited seating. Overall, the food was excellent, and I'll definitely be back.

My first impression was really positive. The restaurant has a modern, stylish vibe, and the interior is beautiful. I also loved the tableware--the plates and chopsticks were really nice and added to the overall dining experience. We had a large group and reserved the private dining room, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. As for the food, it was decent but didn't really stand out, especially for the price. We ordered around 8 dishes (you can see them in my photos). The crab was a little disappointing because the meat was quite dry. On the other hand, the fried eggplant and the king prawn were both excellent and ended up being the highlights of the meal. The rest of the dishes were good, but nothing really wowed us or made us feel like we'd come back just for the food. Overall, I think you're paying a bit of a premium for the beautiful environment, modern atmosphere, and comfortable dining experience. If you're looking for a nice place for a family gathering or dinner with friends, this is a solid choice. The ambiance definitely adds to the experience, even if the food itself wasn't especially memorable.

A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.
