There's not too many Chinese restaurants I've came across in skye canyon area that I'd re-order from but new grand China is most definitely some place I'd eat at again or make a delivery order. Inside is clean the server and cashier are super friendly. Upon arrival your sat immediately asked what you would like to drink. Waters all round and a lemon smoothie with boba $4.50 had a great lemon flavor and boba was made perfectly. We had sweet and sour soup and egg drop soup cup price is $3.25 each for a small or $7.95 for a large bowl. Both soups were try to their flavors. As for appetizers we had veggie egg rolls, shrimp tempura and foil wrapped chicken. The shrimp and egg rolls didn't taste or looked like they were house made. The foiled wrapped chicken was good just stuck to the foil so you had to be-careful peeling it from the foil to not eat foil. Also the server brought out free fried wonton pieces with sweet and sour sauce nice to pair with your soup. Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings: $9.95 Good crisp to the Chicken the salt and pepper flavoring wasn't so much on the chicken, but sautéed with onion and jalapeños on a bed of cabbage. Was decent. Orange chicken: $11.95 Not to crunchy the sauce had a cinnamon flavor and smell to it. Slight taste of orange with a slight tang to it. House Chow Mein: $11.95 Was stir fried well it had a variety of proteins, shrimp that was cooked perfect, sliced beef, sliced chicken and bbq pork. It was good... House Fried Rice: $9.50 Mixed proteins like the chow mein smaller pieces mixed in. It was good. If you use cash and is over the price of $35.00 than you get free cheese wontons (6 pieces). So I got the beef and broccoli. And the friedbryce came to 1699 I was very disappointed with it. The rice was blind and it looks like it's been sitting out all day and the meat in it looked Gray and then the beef and broccoli, the broccoli was so salty. It just tasted weird, so the pretty much. The broccoli was only thing good and then the soup. It was gross, so I'm never gonna eat there again. I'm not gonna get my money back. But I'm just wanna warn people, don't go there. First mistake was to stop: Second mistake was to sit down since the place was empty and it was lunch time : Third was the whole time we were there only one take out !!!!! This has to be the worst experience we have ever had. Got two lunch specials, paid extra for the wonton soups $5. It had no flavor, don't know what meat was in the wonton's. Wife got lemon chicken. Large piece of chicken and that was about it. I ordered the sweet & sour shrimp but what came was what looked like little corn dog wiener's. Don't even know if there was shrimp in it. New Grand China is really good. My daughter loves this place and she is a normal here! It's conveniently located off of the 95/Durango in the Albertsons shopping plaza. There are a few other businesses next to New Grand China, such as Bank of America and Tiki's Hawaiian BBQ. Service is really quick. Usually we are in and out in less than a hour. She orders the Chicken Chow Mein and I typically get the Sesame Chicken with white rice. The flavor profile of the Chicken Chow Mein is good. The chicken is not over-cooked and the noodles are soft, but not too soft, and not under-cooked. The sauce isn't too sweet either. I haven't had any bad Sesame Chicken from New Grand China either. It's cooked with enough fried batter and chicken mixture (where some places it's just all fried, and sauced, with no chicken). It's great for left overs as well. Usually we have left-overs for the next few days after eating at New Grand China! It's pretty cheap too. Usually for both orders, it's under $20.00. I don't know how their pick-up or delivery service is, as we just eat inside the restaurant and have never had a issue with eating inside. read more

This is the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. The sweet and dour chicken didnt even taste like chicken and it was stringy. Fried rice had zero flavor. The crab rangoon was burnt to a crisp and the spring rolls had a strange taste. I will NEVER order from this place again read more

We are giving all the local restaurants a try and New Grand China had some good reviews so why not. We were originally looking for a straight take out place but decided just to dine in. There were only a few People seated so no wait, it was fairly quiet which was good as well. We were sat promptly and our waitress came not to long after to get our drink order. The restaurant was clean overall but a little dated. I really wanted a combination platter but they didn't have chicken and garlic sauce available and also you can have a choice of soup but wonton was not one of them so I passed and just got the regular plate. We ordered the the 2 pork egg rolls as well and they were ok, fried very well but lacked some flavor. The meals came out and they were good size portions and smelled good. I asked for spicy and I got spicy and it had good flavor. The wife's Mongolian beef was good as well. Over all it wasn't a bad experience but we'll keep looking and exploring read more

We were warmly greeted by the staff when we walked in and were promptly seated. The menu is quite big, so we took a bit to narrow down our choices. I highly recommend the salt/ pepper wings and the bbq pork appetizers. Honey walnut shrimp is great, but I would stay away from the chicken and shrimp jalapeño dish. The taste was just off. I have ordered from them since 2022 and have not been disappointed with the quality and price. The increase in price is due to everything being higher but reasonable. I have always been greeted with good customer service and my order is hot and tasty. I believe most of the food is cooked to order so don't expect to run in and receive n out if you have not ordered online. I usually walk in and wait for my food and it's never too long of a wait. Order the Salt and Pepper Wings. They get my Dee Lish rating! Kung Pao Shrimp is getting better too. I don't really like Yelp ratings. 4 and 5 stars are reserved for America's best restaurans. This is generally a 2 to 3 star restaurant depending upon what you order. The Wings are some of the best I've had so far. However recently, the lemon chicken was one of the worst I've had and I couldn't eat it. The chicken was very tough and I'm sure it was nothing but a frozen patty fried in Panko crumbs. Blah. I got the mapo tofu and my son got the orange chicken dinner plate. The mapo tofu was good but not spicy how I like or expect it to be. My sons plate was loaded.
