    Appetizers (already had eaten 1/2)
    Jon S.

Dined in and had the Assorted Appetizers, Thai Chow Fun, Combo Egg Foo Young, and HK Style Crispy Noodle. All were excellent and prices were very reasonable. The server was a not very welcoming when we walked in but eventually warmed up. The place was clean and tidy. My biggest con, and one of my pet peeves, is they used plastic utensils and serve everything in takeout styrofoam, including the plates.

    Spicy Kung Pao beef delicious

The people that work here are impeccable they will do everything that they can to make sure that you're happy with your order. The cooks work fast and tirelessly, they give you extremely large portions. The woman that answers the phone is very understanding and likes to repeat the order to you so she can get it correct after you have already stated it. They do cater to the things that you may be allergic to or the things that you may not eat. This is my second time here and I'm always used to going to Chinatown I do not have to go there if I want something right away I can order from them. The woman that is always picking up the phone remember who I was she even remembered my son she is very personable but she's very fast and efficient she really wants to get your order out to you. For some people she has a very heavy accent but for me she does not because our families have heavy accents too, she will try very hard to get your order correct she understands people, I can tell when I was in there there are people who don't understand her but if you listen clearly she will repeat everything that you want on your order she will also say that we will (accommodate) make you whatever you want ,whatever you need ,will do it for you. I suggest that you already have your food that you already want to order because they work so fast to make sure everyone gets their order in a timely efficiently hot order. they want everyone to be happy with their order. I'm sure if they've made any mistakes they will correct it they have no problem with it and they have a very good attitude about things regardless of how hectic and how busy they are with short amount of staff. They do have delivery if you do not order Uber eats or any of those other things like we don't. I am so grateful that they brought me some food I have been sick for quite some time and they delivered it to me and I have been so tired but they did everything and now I have food for a couple days I provided some pictures not too many their food is wonderful. In this area I will be ordering from them from now on I will not have to order all the way from Chinatown. I am so grateful for them I had not gone grocery shopping in a little bit so thank you and yes I would highly recommend that you order from them if you have a big order call beforehand give them some time to cook all your food. If you're going on break and you want something quick to eat and sit down and eat inside it is a nice cozy place nothing too fancy but it's just like a regular diner. I would recommend eating there if you wanted to sit by yourself and just enjoy yourself while eating, I did get the family meal A and instead of getting the egg rolls in the crab rangoons I asked for an extra soup which only cost an additional $2 and she did give me free pot stickers which she didn't have to but she did so I'm grateful for that Thank you guys for providing our food for this weekend.

Dinner for 2 only $37 and plenty of leftovers.

First time at New China, amazing meal. Easy location to find, prices are great and the portion size are enough for a meal and leftovers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

This is my wife and mine favorite for curry, the portions are amazing and the flavor keeps us going back for more. The place is one big happy family. There's a huge selection of everything a person could want and we're always greeted with a smile. I would give 10 stars if allowed me to. Seriously our favorite

I stopped in for the first time to try this place out. I saw beef chow fun on the menu which is one of my favorites. It only listed green onion and bean sprouts on the menu. I ordered it with no bean sprouts which they did get correct. However, what the issue was is there was very little noodles and only a few pieces of beef because it was filled with cabbage, onion, carrots and green onion. Nothing but filler. If I ever give this place a try again I know to say no veggies at all... Too bad their menu is incorrect. Not anvery good first impression....

The worst General Tso Chicken I've ever had... The restaurant is still new, hopefully they turn it around

This place needs to CLOSE and practice their recipes before too many ppl try their food. They have just opened their doors for business but they are NOT ready. STOP SENDING OUT FLYERS!! The pictures of the food isn't even what we got, the vegetables were completely different. The Mongolian Beef was decent but had hardly any meat but luckily we love onions. The General Tso Chicken was the worst I've ever had in my life. I can watch YouTube and make it better. The Potstickers were actually pretty good and we enjoyed them! This is the worst review I've ever had to write. I really hope they stop serving and review their recipes. Also the menu is HUUUGE and we ordered some really simple dishes.

Customer service was on point from start to finish, and every dish came out fresh and hot. We ordered a variety of items off the menu and were honestly impressed across the board. The gyoza ($6) was perfectly pan-fried with a great crispy bottom, and the filling was packed with flavor. The dipping sauce had just the right hint of spice to bring it all together. The takoyaki ($6) were hands down some of the best we've had at any restaurant. Super crispy on the outside, and when you bite in, the inside just melts and oozes out, so good and full of flavor. The squid leg karaage ($10) was a great starter. Squeezing fresh lemon over it and dipping it in the mayo and spicy sauce combo made it even better. Definitely recommend this one. We were especially excited about the soft shell crab ($9) since it's hard to find it served on its own. It did not disappoint... perfect crunch, great flavor, and the dipping sauce really elevated it. The tonkatsu curry ($13) was a standout. The jasmine rice was cooked perfectly, the curry had rich flavor with tender carrots throughout, and the katsu was fried to perfection... crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Easily a 10/10 dish. The curry udon ($9) is perfect if you're craving something comforting...just curry and noodles done right. The udon ($8) had a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, simple but executed really well. The crazy dragon roll ($13) was definitely a highlight. The amount of eel on top was impressive, and the roll itself was a great size. Everything from the rice to the flavor balance was spot on. Every dish that came out had us smiling, we genuinely enjoyed everything we tried. Highly recommend this spot, and we'll definitely be back again soon!

Enormous disappointment…read more We were so looking forward to our meal here. I'm in my "seafood period" right now and I was excited at the potential I saw in the menu here. It's beautiful. But you no doubt know that from all of the Insta pics. Plan on some extra time to allow all of the wannabe influencers that are staging photo shoots at the entrance, which is famously decked out in fake flowers and pretty vignettes. It's all downhill from there. We were about 10 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and the hostess told us she would seat us "closer to our reservation time". OK. That is sort of unusual since the restaurant seemed empty but sure. 5:30 came and went. We went back up to the hostess stand... apparently there was some shift change that was holding things up. Again, that's OK. But there was an attitude about it all that wasn't very friendly. We were shown to our table soon and it was a nice curvy booth. We both noticed pretty quickly that the music is too loud. That makes everyone have to talk loudly so you will be surrounded by tables of people yelling at each other. Our server seemed distinctly unimpressed that we didn't order any alcohol. You could see the moment he lost interest in us. When my partner asked about the chicken he sort of menu shamed us. We ordered expensive food so his attitude was unnecessary and he did warm up a bit after that. I had the seafood tower for one. This is $68 a person. When they put it in front of me, I was honestly confused. I couldn't hear a thing our server was saying over the loud music so I missed his descriptions of the items. There was something so bizarre on this seafood tower - something that looked like an oyster shell full of whipped cream. What in the world? Oh it's so much worse than that. To my horror, I tried it and found this is some sort of absolutely foul lemongrass cream or some nonsense like that. It was an enormous amount of it - a full mouthful and at the bottom of the shell was supposedly an oyster. I didn't find it and I wouldn't want to eat an oyster that had been sitting in that offensive pool. Wow. That is so amazingly bad. Nowhere on the menu do they warn you what they are going to do to your oysters. It's truly appalling - so bad in fact that I just had to say something to the waiter. He seemed surprised but I don't buy it. This cannot be popular. Anyway, rant over. The rest of the seafood tower was just OK. The lobster was tiny and not super fresh. The shrimp were sort of "meh" but the hit surprisingly was the scallop ceviche... very nice and bright. Note there is no bread either offered or on the menu. Felt weird. It's needed. For our main course, my partner got the filet mignon and a side lobster tail. His lobster was also of the "wee" variety and a bit tough. Steak was nice though and cooked as requested. I had the Truffle Mushroom with Spaghetti and added the jumbo shrimp. This was also terrible. I thought I liked truffles - but I bit into something in this dish that again I can only describe as foul. And the sauce was just too much and overwhelming. I ate about three bites and just gave up. We spent about $260 before tip. With no drinks. This was a pretty stunningly bad meal.

This evening, I enjoyed a culinary adventure with my sister and her boyfriend, where each dish felt like a perfectly orchestrated note in a symphony of flavors and textures. Every dish we encountered was meticulously crafted, harmonizing beautifully to create a delightful ensemble of tastes and sensations. We started our meal with a thoughtfully curated selection of appetizers, each more tantalizing than the last. The Crispy Tuna was a standout, expertly composed of perfectly crisped rice layered with spicy mayo, sweet soy, and a touch of garlic. The interplay of textures was electrifying, providing excitement and refinement on the palate. Next came the Miso Soup, an iconic staple elevated to new heights. This bowl was imbued with fresh scallions, velvety tofu, and delicate seaweed, offering a warm and comforting embrace setting the perfect evening tone. The Popcorn Shrimp followed, and it was indeed a delight. Flash-fried to a tantalizing crunch, these morsels were paired with a zesty chili mayo sprinkled with furikake and green onion, creating a delightful, addictive quality that left us reaching for more. The sushi course was divine, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to fresh ingredients and exquisite flavor combinations. The highlight here was undoubtedly the Truffle Niji roll--a sophisticated creation featuring an array of fish, including tuna, salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, and white fish, along with blue crab, creamy avocado, and refreshing cucumber, all elegantly drizzled with truffle soy. Each bite was a testament to the chef's artistry, bursting with freshness and a careful balance of flavors, making every mouthful a unique experience. We were fortunate to savor these culinary delights at an incredible 50% off, courtesy of their enticing Sunday promotion on both sushi and select sake, enhancing the enjoyment of our meal. For our main courses, we opted for two standout dishes that encapsulated the essence of FUHU's culinary prowess. The Baby Bok Choy, yet expertly prepared, was adorned with crispy garlic and infused with a light essence of shrimp that brought an unexpected yet delightful depth to this green vegetable. However, the true showstopper was the Kurobuta Pork Chop. Presented elegantly alongside a silky wasabi potato purée, each tender slice of the pork was bursting with rich, savory flavor. This was beautifully complemented by the Signature Fried Rice--a satisfying and umami-rich blend of scrambled egg, green onion, and added beef that rounded out the meal perfectly. As we neared the end of our exquisite dining experience, we were treated to an extraordinary dessert--Ice Cream by the Scoop. The standout flavor was the Hello Soju Asian Pear Sorbet, vibrantly colored and refreshingly delightful. This sorbet provided a unique conclusion to our meal, leaving a subtle warmth from the soju that lingered pleasantly on the palate. FUHU exemplifies culinary excellence in every regard--the impeccable service, atmospheric ambiance, and inventive cuisine combined to create a truly magical dining experience. This evening was one of those rare moments in life where every detail had been meticulously crafted and considered, leaving us yearning for a return visit to this paradise of flavors and eager to explore more of what FUHU offers.
