    Appetizers (already had eaten 1/2)
    Jon S.

Dined in and had the Assorted Appetizers, Thai Chow Fun, Combo Egg Foo Young, and HK Style Crispy Noodle. All were excellent and prices were very reasonable. The server was a not very welcoming when we walked in but eventually warmed up. The place was clean and tidy. My biggest con, and one of my pet peeves, is they used plastic utensils and serve everything in takeout styrofoam, including the plates.

The people that work here are impeccable they will do everything that they can to make sure that you're happy with your order. The cooks work fast and tirelessly, they give you extremely large portions. The woman that answers the phone is very understanding and likes to repeat the order to you so she can get it correct after you have already stated it. They do cater to the things that you may be allergic to or the things that you may not eat. This is my second time here and I'm always used to going to Chinatown I do not have to go there if I want something right away I can order from them. The woman that is always picking up the phone remember who I was she even remembered my son she is very personable but she's very fast and efficient she really wants to get your order out to you. For some people she has a very heavy accent but for me she does not because our families have heavy accents too, she will try very hard to get your order correct she understands people, I can tell when I was in there there are people who don't understand her but if you listen clearly she will repeat everything that you want on your order she will also say that we will (accommodate) make you whatever you want ,whatever you need ,will do it for you. I suggest that you already have your food that you already want to order because they work so fast to make sure everyone gets their order in a timely efficiently hot order. they want everyone to be happy with their order. I'm sure if they've made any mistakes they will correct it they have no problem with it and they have a very good attitude about things regardless of how hectic and how busy they are with short amount of staff. They do have delivery if you do not order Uber eats or any of those other things like we don't. I am so grateful that they brought me some food I have been sick for quite some time and they delivered it to me and I have been so tired but they did everything and now I have food for a couple days I provided some pictures not too many their food is wonderful. In this area I will be ordering from them from now on I will not have to order all the way from Chinatown. I am so grateful for them I had not gone grocery shopping in a little bit so thank you and yes I would highly recommend that you order from them if you have a big order call beforehand give them some time to cook all your food. If you're going on break and you want something quick to eat and sit down and eat inside it is a nice cozy place nothing too fancy but it's just like a regular diner. I would recommend eating there if you wanted to sit by yourself and just enjoy yourself while eating, I did get the family meal A and instead of getting the egg rolls in the crab rangoons I asked for an extra soup which only cost an additional $2 and she did give me free pot stickers which she didn't have to but she did so I'm grateful for that Thank you guys for providing our food for this weekend.

This is my wife and mine favorite for curry, the portions are amazing and the flavor keeps us going back for more. The place is one big happy family. There's a huge selection of everything a person could want and we're always greeted with a smile. I would give 10 stars if allowed me to. Seriously our favorite

Dinner for 2 only $37 and plenty of leftovers.

First time at New China, amazing meal. Easy location to find, prices are great and the portion size are enough for a meal and leftovers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I stopped in for the first time to try this place out. I saw beef chow fun on the menu which is one of my favorites. It only listed green onion and bean sprouts on the menu. I ordered it with no bean sprouts which they did get correct. However, what the issue was is there was very little noodles and only a few pieces of beef because it was filled with cabbage, onion, carrots and green onion. Nothing but filler. If I ever give this place a try again I know to say no veggies at all... Too bad their menu is incorrect. Not anvery good first impression....

The worst General Tso Chicken I've ever had... The restaurant is still new, hopefully they turn it around

Hey, y'all…read more Y'all... I guess I've been living under a rock because I'm just now finding out about Cheongdam Food Hall! Where have I been?! Anywhoddles I ordered from Eki Ramen, and when I tell y'all this ramen was RAMENING! Aka delicious. Aka... fire I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, and as you can see from the menu, it was only $12.95. I added an extra egg, extra pork belly, and extra black garlic oil because... why not? Anywhoddles with the extra "trimmings" it came to $18 dollars. Let's get back to the review Now lean in so I can tell y'all about this broth. It tasted authentic to me. It was rich, velvety, silky smooth, creamy without being heavy, and bursting with savory goodness. Every sip had me closing my eyes The noodles had the perfect bite--not too soft and not too firm. The pork belly was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of char around the edges. And those eggs? Whew! Perfectly jammy with that beautiful golden yolk. So... if you're a ramen lover--or if you've been thinking about trying ramen for the first time--I highly recommend giving Eki Ramen a try. And while you're there, take your time and explore Cheongdam Food Hall because there are plenty of other restaurants waiting to be discovered. Until next time... y'all already know what time it is! I'll be doing a boomerang back to this spot because there are way too many restaurants in this food hall for me to stop at just one!

As I opened the Yelp app I see the nicest business owner reply from Palette Tea. Perfect timing Palette it is!!! They sat us right away for our reservation for six even though only two of us had arrived. We were sure they were minutes behind because our friend is super punctual. Our server was super nice and understanding as our friends arrived 45 minutes late. They kept us updated as they were stuck on the freeway . There was a big accident. While we were waiting I asked for assistance with the menu. I asked if there was anything that was gluten free. He said yes and ran away. I thought he was getting a gf menu so I was getting hopeful. I saw him running around the restaurant and into the back of the house and then he didn't come back for a while so I didn't know what was going on. He then arrived with a gf menu. One that he went to the chefs and made one on the spot for me. He marked everything on the menu that could be made gf. Now that is service! I thanked him for taking the time to do that for me. If he just rambled off everything it would be so hard to remember it all, not to mention that the restaurant now has a gf menu. Every dish we had was delicious. Wagyu beef chow fun gf, Poached Chinese Kale (Gai Lan gf, Braised Japanese Egg Tofu w/ Assorted Mushroom gf, crispy noodles with exotic seafood, Wok Fried Wagyu Steak w/ Asparagus, Cucumber Salad with Sesame Dressing gf, Steamed Beef Tripe w/ Ginger & Scallion Sauce, Rainbow Shrimp Dumplings. Turnip cake and shiu mai. The absolute can't miss were the Wagyu Steak w/Asparagus and Japanese egg tofu. I also had the watermelon juice that was super fresh and sweet. It was only $8 for a large glass. It's the best deal I've ever gotten for fresh watermelon juice. It was a great afternoon with friends. The service was top notch. The food was on point and Palette Tea proved again why it is on our favorite list for dim sum and a great place to gather with friends and family. We can't recommend this restaurant enough. It is also a beautiful room as well.

There were several dishes where the ingredients seemed to compete rather than complement each other. The mochi ducklings were adorable and perfect for photos, but the filling wasn't particularly memorable. The lightly sweet-yet-savory flavor combined with the chestnut crunch was actually a little off-putting. For a meat-filled mochi, I expected something more distinctly savory. The rainbow shrimp crepes were another visual standout, but the rice roll itself was too thick and not as soft or flavorful as I would have liked. The colorful bands looked interesting, but whatever vegetable or herb mixture was used had such a strong flavor that it overwhelmed the shrimp and sauce. The shrimp ended up feeling like an afterthought. The coconut pudding was also gorgeous, but the texture was surprisingly firm--closer to agar than a soft, creamy pudding. I've had much better versions elsewhere. The lobster dumplings were good, although I wish they had been served with a plate. They arrived in the bamboo steamer directly on the table, and after pumping the butter into the dumplings, it ended up running all over the table. The fried tofu was probably the safest choice and enjoyable. The fried bass was good as well, except for the peppercorn seasoning. I was expecting more of a classic salt-and-pepper flavor, but the Sichuan-style zing felt out of place to me. One small but important operational suggestion: they should replace the black credit card holders. The card blends into the holder so well that it's incredibly easy to overlook. I actually left my credit card behind because I couldn't see it in the holder. A contrasting color or different design would probably prevent a lot of forgotten cards. Overall, it was an interesting experience with beautiful presentation and some very creative ideas, but for me, the visuals were stronger than the flavors. I'm glad I tried it, but it probably isn't somewhere I'd return to.

My side item to compliment this dish was there garlic fries which came out hot fresh and lightly salted. We did run into a hiccup when it came to billing as our server William over billed us on one dish five times. This was quite a big mistake because this is not a menu that has lightly priced items. Once this was brought to the attention of the waiter he took the bill and corrected it however he did not give any other explanation or any other pleasantries due to the heir of the restaurant in overbilling us. It almost makes me wonder if this has happened to other guests and they didn't notice it. Outside of the overbilling the food was great but I highly recommend you review your receipt thoroughly.
