I have been coming to Julie & Kevin for YEARS. I found Julie at another salon actually , and absolutely LOVED her work. When I found out her husband and her opened up a new place down the street from me I was over the moon. I have been strictly coming to Julie since 2020, and I don't see myself going any where else. From the QUALITY , every aspect of my nails, helping me grow them naturally and overall just helping me feel more confident in my nails!! (Was a huge nail biter all my life) Listening to me ramble on, and always keeping conversation with me making me feel right at home, the vibe entirely is set by Julie and her husband Kevin. (Kevin also does amazing nails as well, if you're ready to be slayed , definitely head their way) (Run, don't walk here !! )Keeping you satisfied , comfortable and taken care of. They are the absolute best duo, in Vegas. I have never come here and been dissatisfied, or disappointed. I have loved every set I have ever had done here. The over the top quality and the service always keep me coming back. Pedicures, eyelashes, eyebrows and all they do it ! Do yourself a favor and make yourself a regular at the best kept secret in Vegas. Thank me later.

I got my nails done yesterday with Julie. She was very nice and did them exactly how i wanted. I am very particular about how my acrylics are since i like them to be thin and flat. She listened to what i wanted and did them how i asked. They are open till 7pm which was so convenient. Thanks Julie! I will def be back.

I've been coming to New Happy Nails in Las Vegas for years, and they've consistently been reliable and welcoming. Julie is incredibly kind and patient, she always checks in throughout the process to make sure I'm happy with the shape, length, and color. You can tell she genuinely cares, and the rest of the staff is just as friendly. They remember their regulars by name, which creates a super comfortable and familiar vibe. Whether I'm getting a classic French tip, something neutral, or colorful accents, they always get the look right. My nails last, don't lift, and I always get compliments on them. I also appreciate how clean and organized the salon is, and I never feel rushed, even when they're busy. If you're looking for a place that combines great work with a personal touch, this is a solid spot in Vegas. Included are pictures of some of the sets I've had done over the years!

Gel X Extension, medium length, coffin shape- $135 (I also got a gel x set removed)

I set an appointment the day before. The shop was quiet, clean and they wasted no time to start. She never made me feel uncomfortable or like I bothered her as I chose styles and colors relatively slow (I'm very indecisive). I had a sore nail, and she took her time to not put me in more pain. It took about 2 hours. I am so happy, and I've received nothing but compliments.

So my friend that lives around the corner recommended this shop. Let me tell you Julie did my nails and she was AMAZING I showed her an inspo pic and she NAILED IT! I absolutely LOVE my nails! Julie always does such an amazing job!! I really appreciate that she always double checks about the shape and length and makes sure I'm happy throughout my service and after! Especially compared to other places I've been, she makes sure the color goes all the way to the side of the nail and the thickness is thick enough it doesn't break but still thin enough so that it's natural looking around the cuticle when it grows out. I usually just show her a picture of what I want and she is always able to color match :)

Julie and Kevin are the best. I have been coming here for years. Everything I ask for is always done. Julie is always making room for your appointment. They have such a wide variety of colors. I get my eyebrows done every once in a while and they always look wonderful. They are always nice to everyone that comes in. My whole family sees her and Kevin. And we love them!

Had such a great experience at New Happy Nails & Spa. My first time at this salon and won't be my last! Julie did my manicure and she is a master at her craft. She really cares and takes her time to give your nails their perfect shape. She asks you during if you like it or want it changed, and is very receptive and kind to feedback. She did dip powder and did a top coat without using a UV machine!!! My nails have been wrecked since moving to the US & having only UV lamps and gelX forced on me. This salon is fantastic if you actually want to have natural nails and not all this GelX insanity everyone loves here. Any Aussie's reading this - you get what I'm saying and you should definitely come here for a great mani much more like home. Mani was $50. Kim did my pedicure and was great, so kind. I did "deluxe pedicure" $55 + $15 if you want gel. I did gel. She did the pedicure cleaning of the feet in the water, standard stuff, used the drill to get off the old polish. Didn't hurt. Then she did the polish on the nails but hadn't buffed the heels/callouses yet and actually did this after the polish application. Never had that before. But the callous removal/warm towels wrapped on my legs and massage on my feet and then lotion on my legs was heavenly!! A very pleasant surprise! Pedi was $70 Honestly such lovely ladies and a really cute salon. I watched Bling Empire on Netflix on their tv the whole time it was awesome haha. Highly recommend! read more

First time coming here for a pedicure and I'll definitely be back. The staff is friendly and they have a ton of options for gel, and acrylic. It's clean and the chairs don't have that poor drainage smell. The massage chairs definitely hit the spot when you get your service done! Kim did an amazing job on my toes. If I could give zero stars I would!!! I am sooo livid!!!! The lady asked me to leave because I had my 5 lb dog with me inside that was in his carrier!!!! He's a service dog! But she still refused to let me stay. She asked me to leave and to leave my niece inside by herself stating they'll take care of her while I wait outside.... Absolutely wrong!!!!! I'll never bring her here again!!!! read more

To be honest, I'm the type of person who bounces from one nail salon to another. However after coming to New Happy Nails, I've finally found my "home" nail salon. First off, the selection is IMMENSE. I want to say there was AT LEAST 10 books of gel, 8 rings full of more colors, and the wall of nail polish was SOOO FULL. The selection was so big and diverse that it took me 20 minutes to choose. Not only that, but I got 3 kinds of styles: gold flakes, glitter, and COLOR CHANGING! Julie did both my manicure and pedicure. She was sweet, easy to talk to, and made jokes. I felt very comfortable! She also offered every customer a beverage! I didn't personally see the beverage selection, but a customer joked about Diet Coke and she had it! And what beverage did I get? A NICE WARM VIETNAMESE COFFEE. Anyways it's been 7 weeks and there's no chipping, lifting, or peeling. Whatever products or techniques this Julie used was perfection. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to get a gel manicure, gel pedicure, or dip powder nails. I usually get dip powder on my natural nails. I frequent this nail shop when I'm in town. I used to go all the time when I lived in Vegas. The nail techs are so nice and friendly. I used to go to whoever was available, but now my go to person is Julie. She does the best designs and has so much talent! Ask for her if you want beautiful nails that will last long. Show her any picture and she can copy it perfectly! Everyone wears masks so I didn't have to worry. The employees are very clean and constantly washing their hands A good amount of people go to this salon so sometimes there's a small wait but that'sa good thing that there are so many people willing to wait to get their nails done. Came in a few days after Thanksgiving and I called ahead and there was no wait. Loved the service. Don't think I'll come back, I wasn't the biggest fan on the price I got. I've gone to other nail salons and paid around the same price but also got french on my gel manicure and added some rhinestones for the same price as what I paid here. On top of that, I've never broken a nail, ever. And the after getting my gel X here, maybe a week or week and a half in, and I have 2 broken gel X nails. I was really excited to have found this spot as it is really really close to my house. read more

My gel extensions at my last salon usually only lasted 4 weeks or so before falling off, but my gel x set from New Happy Nails lasted almost two months!!! I had a man that works there, do my pedi but I didn't like it, and I told her and she said she would take care of me from now on. She wants to make sure her customers are happy. It's a nice quiet salon, not a lot of commotion or loud people. I drive completely across town from my home, for her and her work! read more

So after a minor heartbreak where my current nail tech quit, I was left in a panic. I quickly went to google to find a replacement. Found New happy nails, they were close to my house. They were able to see me so quickly. I was greeted with kindness and a full understanding on what I was wanting to do. I left with a fresh manicure. It was quick but did not feel rushed in anyway. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from beginning to end…read more I booked a Gel-X set and a pedicure. The Gel-X design I requested was extremely simple, yet the appointment took 2.5 hours to complete. I completely understand that every nail technician has their own pace, but when an appointment runs that far behind, there should be some consideration for the customer's time. Rather than become frustrated with the technician, I politely told the staff that I would return another day for my pedicure. To my surprise, I was charged a $20 cancellation fee because I was no longer receiving the service -- despite the fact that the only reason I had to leave was because their own appointment took significantly longer than expected. I paid the fee without arguing because I did not want to make the staff uncomfortable or cause a scene. Unfortunately, the most frustrating part is that after 2.5 hours, the quality of my nails did not reflect the time or money spent. I asked for a simple square shape and left with uneven, U-shaped nails with excess gel built up underneath them. For the amount this salon charges, the quality was nowhere near what should be expected. I called afterward hoping to speak to management and give them the opportunity to make things right. While I was placed on "hold", I could clearly hear the supervisor speaking negatively about me and dismissing my concerns by saying I was "just mad" about the cancellation fee and didnt want to pay it. This was incredibly unprofessional, especially considering I was calling because I was unhappy with the overall quality of my $130 service. I was told the owner would be contacted and would reach out to me personally. It has now been two days with no phone call, email, or any acknowledgment of the situation. High prices can be justified by exceptional work and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this salon provided neither. Paying premium prices for poor-quality nails, being charged a fee due to the salon's own delay, hearing management speak negatively about a customer, and then receiving no follow-up is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would encourage anyone considering this salon to understand that the experience may not match the price tag.

The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

Well, I hit paydirt when I found new happy nails & spa!!! Linda, the eyelash technician is a perfectionist and takes her time to get my lashes done exactly how I like them done. Yes, I'm usually there for a little longer then most places I've been to but I leave extremely happy and happy to pay for her services! Without a doubt she is the best at what she does and I'm not interested in looking any further for anyone better, at least while I'm lving in Vegas!!!
