My friend and I just ordered from Ho King tonight and let me tell you, WOW! This is the best Chinese food ever! The lo main was so decadent and had ample amounts of veggies. My string bean stirfry was out of this world! Absolutely delicious meal. The best part was the man taking our order. I've never been extra wow'd when ordering over the phone at other restaurants but he made me so excited to get my food! We had a little mishap but he handled it so well. My mom didn't know we ordered Chinese food so when he got to the door she tried turning him away. Well, he called up from his phone and upstairs we ran to get it! He had a smile the whole time! The food tasted fairly good. Although the noodles were quite soggy. But it was OK until I got a part that was gritty. Knowing what they sometimes do in restaurants I'm guessing it somehow ended up on the floor and they just scooped it up and sent it my way. I would not recommend this place. read more

Order from here 1-2 times per week. The delivery is quick and the food is hot. I really like their won ton and hot and sour soup. Great flavor in the hot and sour and their wontons kept out of liquid until soup is ready. (the wontons are never sitting in the soup making them to soft and mushy). Love the taste and quality of Chicken with Walnuts - creamy white coconut sauch with breaded fried chicken pieces served with crispy fresh broccoli. General Tso's and Sesame chicken served in similar way also with a delicious sauce. They are very willing to change any order to your liking and online ordering is extremely convenient. read more

Its chinese food what do you expect? Proportions were slightly smaller than what I'm used to and surprisingly I had no leftovers. Also there closed on tuesdays. I don't think I've ever seen a small chinese takeout place like this not be 7 days. read more

It's Chinese food! Do you like Chinese food? Then you will probably like New Ho King Kitchen. It's, by far, not the best Chinese restaurant I have been to, but, also, not nearly the worst. Best Chinese in the area I have been going there for 10 years and never disappointed always fresh food

My wife and I love this place. Great food and very friendly staff. We usually get the same thing so we don't have a wide experience of the menu, but the food is always consistent no matter when we order. We have been going there for over two years now and they recognize us and ask us how they are doing. We had tried one other place in Pompton Lakes before Ho King Kitchen, but since going here we haven't felt the need to try anyplace else. I guess they now have a website which I've never seen from a take-out restaurant where you can order online too so this place takes pride in making its business better. Its a small takeout place so you probably aren't going to sit down and eat but the food is worth it for take-out or delivery. read more

This place is more often a miss than a hit. Last time I asked for an egg scrambled with my rice and literally got a fried full fried egg on top. Not even mixed. It was gross. My to go food there used to be the general tso chicken which is either great or gross and nothing in between, broccoli and shrimp in garlic sauce, sometimes the shrimp are fresher than others.. and the fried pork dumpling. Which are way too doughy for my taste. Been ordering from Somewhere else lately and like it better but I may give it another shot as the place is close by and convenient. Again sometimes the food rocks but sometimes it's just plain gross and it is the lack of consistency that has driven me somewhere else. read more
