Very fresh and tasty food. Generous portions. I really enjoy their beef with vegetables. The pork fried rice has good wok hei (flavor from cooking in the wok with fire). We order from here once a month and everyone always enjoys it. The sesame chicken has a nice flavour. The white rice is always fluffy. About two or three years ago they got new owners and the quality of the food went way up. Their star rating should be higher. read more

I had no idea that you could get general TSO's bean curd (soy)! Or other flavors. This place is good. I appreciate the vegan options. But I always feel guilty eating here because of all the plastic! If they used eco friendly containers I would eat here much often. read more

So after everything that happened last year I finally gave them another shot and it worked out great! Despite the fact that I was so angry during my last review I knew all throughout covid that I had to keep supporting the small businesses. I probably went or at least 10 times and each time it was very good and very safe. Today I had a craving for Chinese food that I just couldn't shake and I called to order a lunch special and I was really happy. I have to say they use fresh veggies all were so crispy and full of flavor you really didn't even need the sauce. Add to that a big container of brown rice and for under nine dollars you really couldn't go wrong. Also I want to add that they took away the fee for the credit card usage which really made me happy. I also feel it's really important to support our local Asian businesses with everything going on in the world right now I try not to get involved with politics but one of my very best friends is Asian and I know she's had some issues so I have to get out there and show some support read more

I've tried it twice. I gave it a second try because I really wanted a local Chinese restaurant, I live nearby and I felt I needed to give it a second chance; my God is this place awful! Starchy, gummy wantons, bland fried rice, flavorless, heavy, overcooked, grey suggesting frozen or precooked. Compound all this with the restaurant appearance: it's dirty, grimy, worn, burnt in food photos that appear to have never looked appetizing - it screams Complacency! And it shows in the quality and flavor of the food. I'm disappointed to say: I need to keep looking. Let me know if you have a recommendation. read more

If I could give a 0 rating I would. All the chicken was burnt and hard as a rock and the fries must have been left over from the day before because they were stale and disgusting. The rice was brown not brown rice it was fried rice not bright yellow as it should be but brown and nasty. $35 and change and not one pack of sauce utensils or napkins. Disgusting food I will NEVER order from here again. read more

I haven't had any bad experiences with this place - if you live in Franklin Lakes, they deliver FAST. The man and his wife are sooo nice if you meet them while ordering inside. Is their food tasty.. meh it's your typical chinese restaurant nothing gourmet. Food was hot, good customer service. Only gripe is that it could be a little less expensive compared to others nearby. I like them, won't stop ordering. All in one stop shop - right next to Foodtown & liquor store as well as a bagel spot that closes at 3pm. read more

Wo Lee was one of the first Chinese take outs to open during the 2020 pandemic and I'm glad they were. I have re-discovered this family run gem just minutes from home. The service is pleasant and efficient and the food is great. I highly recommend the pork in garlic sauce which is light, spicy and full of fresh veggies. How I survived college. Five bucks for the student special- the typical meal + choice of egg roll/wonton soup/soda + choice of rice. Delivered to campus and allowed us to enjoy countless nights of delicious chinese food. If I could only know how many times I ate this food. Hard to work with on the phone, and the delivery man was always snippy and practically demanded a tip- but whatever. WoLee is the best! Try them; you'll love it. read more

I placed an order here for the first time since the change in owners. Very friendly staff and food was delicious, will be going back. The person working the counter forgot to pack my soup and came looking for me in the parking lot! Definitely will be going back. The one downside is a $15.00 minimum for credit and debit cards. Not sure if I want a $1.00 surcharge on my order for using a card. read more

I live in North Haledon so it would be nice to have a nice local Chinese store however, this one is not. Take the drive and go to Hawthorne or the Hawthorne Chinese stores all deliver. This place is dirty! The food is always over cooked and full of grease. read more

Food was alright. I had the sesame chicken with lo mein. The lo mein did not have much flavor that was the only thing.

I've lived in the area for 8 years and have been going here for all that time. The lunch special is a very good deal! They have excellent steamed dumplings. When I have company I occasionally get take out from them and everyone is very complimentary about the food quality. read more

Come here and get the boneless spare ribs over pork fried rice dinner combo... You'll fall in love. Great that this place delivers a decent distance away which is something unique to them that every take-out Chinese place doesn't have. Haven't sat down to eat there I usually deliver and the woman over the phone who takes my order speaks perfect English, which is also a plus. Good place, good dishes, the price is the same as any place, and it has gotten a lot better then what this place used to be the first time I ate here 3 years ago. read more

I ordered steamed chicken with broccoli from Wo Lee in North Haledon. I began eating it when I noticed a fishy smell from the chicken. I thought it may be that the broccoli was given off a smell, but NOOOO it was the chicken. So I ate the broccoli and threw some of the chicken in the garbage! I called Wo Lee and spoke to the gentleman that put a young girl on the phone, I told her about the chicken and she answered that they don't have fish in their restaurant! So i responded than somrething is wrong with your chicken. I told her I will come down with what is left! Well, when I got there the cook and another man smelled the chicken but didn't make a comment! I told him to taste a piece, and he did. Then they passed it to the girl with glasses who works there and she said something to them. The cook asked if I wanted another order . I told him I didn't but I want my money refunded! And I hope I don't get sick! The girl commented to the cook and very rudly instead of being aplogetic gave me my money. No apologies, or explanation was given about the smell. I will never go there again! The place also needs upkeep! Tables don't look like they are wiped down, and floors appear dirty! read more
