Eric said he would arrive in about an hour but showed up roughly three hours late. He checked the cameras only after he had already attached all of them with adhesive. He should have verified the live view on the app before permanently sticking them down. Problems I found afterward: * Rear camera is mounted upside-down and left/right flipped * Front camera is not centered and needs to be moved more to the middle I contacted him about the issues and he said he would check the schedule. After that, he ghosted. For a $250 three-camera job, checking orientation and positioning on the app before using adhesive should be basic procedure. I ended up having to correct the problems myself. Would not recommend.

After just shy of $10k, 8 trips back to the store, and a month of listening to systems with…read moreissues.... We will NOT be back. I had 2 sound systems installed in 2 brand new vehicles. When i picked up the Bronco, Joel Joseph had "misunderstood" me and did an additional $600 worth of sound deadening. Then I paid for Alpine S69c speakers, and they installed Alpine E series speakers, causing the amp to fry them. Then They broke clips in one of the speaker grills (they replaced after they realized i knew) . They did not install one of the covers that go over the speaker, and caused vibrations. Then they installed another amp incorrectly, and caused another set of speakers to blow. Then I keep finding little nicks and scratches on the trim. Then they charged me for a specific subwoofer, and then its on back order, so they put a cheaper subwoofer in, and charged me full price for more expensive subwoofer. After install, the chime was twice as loud, and when opening the doors, the ding is way too loud. I asked them to fix, but they said they didnt turn it up and it wasnt their fault, even though it wasnt that loud before. I asked for a full refund, and to return the cars to stock, they refused to give a refund. So here now im here to warn folks to be careful when dealing with them.... Check your stuff. Im sure Joseph will respond to this saying they do good work and they guarantee their stuff, and if i had an issue i should go up there etc etc.... Well Joel.... i did. 8 times. Im done giving you chances to get stuff right that should have been done right the 1st time. 10k should have gotten me 2 AMAZING sounding systems.... instead i got 2 systems that sound like they came from Buckner.

I wrote up a list of what I wanted and sent it to the car stereo installers that had the best reviews on Yelp, including one I had used in the past. I must have sent this to 5 of the top-rated car stereo installers in Dallas. And guess what? None of them could respond intelligently to the requirements that I put together except for Joseph's Auto Toy Store. My challenge was that Joseph's did not have a 4 or 5 star rating on Yelp--although the shop does on Facebook and Google. So, I kept trying to get the other car stereo installers to respond to me via email and Facebook Messenger and Yelp messenger. I even tried calling a couple of times and got 'voicemail box is full.' (That is a huge pet peeve of mine--clear your voicemail boxes people!) And after 3 weeks of this, I replied to Joseph's via a Yelp message and explained my dilemma. Joel, the owner, replied back that they've been in business 36 years and have great customer and supplier relationships. He replied to my messages via Yelp so fast. So, I figured I'd give him a try. Yesterday, I stopped by and got my stereo installed. There were some complications that I think other car stereo shops would've taken longer to fix -- like a part was missing and it was raining. Joel called in a favor and had someone drive the part to us in the rain, even with all the Dallas traffic. Once installed, there was an issue with the steering wheel controls, and they caught the issue on their own --without me having to notice it--and used a hardwiring work around because there were no manufactured connectors available to match the unique configuration of the stereo and my vehicle. This did take longer than I expected, but I know that with any of the other shops I called -- who couldn't put two sentences together over text or email -- that I wouldn't have received my car back yesterday and that I'd still be waiting. My overall assessment of this Joseph's Auto Toy Store is that this place is run by professionals who know what they're doing and can communicate clearly. Unfortunately, no other shop I called--including Best Buy--gave me this impression. If you're a buyer that appreciates workmanship and communication, this is the place for you.

I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

Everything was done in about 1 1/2 hours. The office is easily located right off Shiloh rd by the train tracks. The lobby has movies and samples of tint shades they have. Even offer complimentary water. I waited to see how the tint would look after a few days before leaving a review. Everything is awesome. Bubbles went away after a few days. My first review on New Image was exactly one month shy of 4yrs ago! Wow! Well I'm still buying cars and still enhancing all toys of mine with top-quality audio products. Forever sending friends and family in for awesome equipment, and top of the line brands. I favor Infinity Kappa above all else, and they never cease to impress me. From SUV's to Scatpack Dodge Challengers, they've made the sound PHENOMENAL! It's always a pleasure working with Sam- Business Owner, Former Wild Child, Junior- Great Conversationalist, Cedric- Best Installer In Town, and "Junior-Junior"...younger brother to Junior...never met him 4 years ago, but he's a sweetheart, loves to eat good food! My wife has a 2009 Honda Pilot- I searched the internet, as well as the big box stores trying to find a double DIN DVD/GPS head unit that would work with her car. Everything came back as recommending single DIN only, with a mechanized fold out screen, which is exactly what I did not want. the manager at new image, Junior, never even hesitated is stating that it was completely possible to do what I was asking for. When I arrived at the showroom, he warned me that it would be about 4-5 hours to complete the job, due to the extra work that would be required. However, 2.5 hours later, I was driving away with a new system that looked to be completely stock, and rocked the house like no other. I was so impressed with Junior and his team that I am now working with them to completely redo the entire sound system of my 2006 F250. Entirely satisfied, and highly recommend New Image Autosports ! read more

I had to visit this store to have a new car stereo installed when mine died. The prices are very fair. I had already checked prices on line. The installer was a little slow but got it done while I waited (about an hour). You can watch the install process on a video screen while you wait. Sam ( the manager I think), is very helpful and knowledgeable. After the stereo was installed Sam took the time to help set up the equalizer on my new unit to maximize the sound quality in my jeep. I have been back 3 times now for other small items and the service has been very good. No, pesky commission based sales person trying to sell me crap I don't need. Just honest and helpful info with a fair price. read more

Great store. I told them what I wanted in a new car stereo.They listened, made suggestions and explained the benefits of each system. There was no hard up sale for items I didn't need or want. After getting an estimate from a major installer who tried to up sale me with an inferior stereo system and backup camera until my total was over $1000. I did splurge a little and went with the night vision back up camera they recommended without any arm twisting. Now, I have a superior stereo and back up camera at $300 less than the major installer could get. The install took less than a couple of hours from drop off to pick up. Came into Sam's shop after hearing some good things, and after looking around, I could tell they might be the right fit, and sure enough, they exceeded my expectations. From the customer walkthrough to Sam being available on the spot to take our calls, the service was phenomenal. I got my subwoofer installed, guided them on how I wanted everything set up, and then let them do their magic. The end result came out clean and exactly how I wanted it. New Image Autosport has done all of my car audio and lighting work on my system for the last few years. I would never take my car anywhere else, they always do an excellent job, their prices are fair, and they go above and beyond when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. I tell all of my friends about them when they ask who did my work... because everyone is always impressed with my system, and my friends have nothing but great things to say about them as well. I came in with 3 12" subs in an oversized box and let me tell you the condition of this stuff was sketchy. I mainly deal with Abe and Sam when I come in and they were able to help me get my two working subs into a better box that actually fit in my car and they installed a new Pioneer radio with interior speakers. My sound helped me with new headlights (they're super bright btw), interior lights and I'm currently getting my underglow installed. Havent had a bad experience here yet and I'd definitely recommend it... read more

I finally got around to getting a remote start and screens put in my car, now I won't have to deal with the scolding heat in the summer and the stinging cold of the winter, and no more crying from the kids on long drives. I got to watch a movie in their waiting area and relax while it all went down. I am by no means an electronically inclined person but their installer explained everything to me and I can work the tv screens like charm! What can I say? Best experience I've ever had in the bewildering world of car audio. Junior and his crew installed a Pioneer navi system with satellite radio and a backup cam in my 2013 Jetta Sportwagen. They did it with care, knowledge, and precision. I live pretty far away, but it was so worth the drive. One hint: this particular location is in a shopping center off Interstate 30 and broadway/beltline in Garland. I have come to this location since it opened up back in 2006, by far my favorite car audio shop ever.... I've seen them work in anything from luxury to exotic. I still come to that location for advice on all my installs, Cedric is one of the best installers ever!!!! Trust no one else.... You want to work with him and his team because they take pride in the audio they sell - I did my own research, and Junior helped guide my understanding to the exact setup I would be "happy" with, which he thoroughly stated is his primary goal. Bringing in a 7th Gen Lexus ES350, he sat with me in the car and walked me through the available options and the pre-install and post-install tuning support. With how finicky some of the setup is required in some of the newer cars, DIY wasn't worth it for me. Highly recommended if your install done CORRECTLY, without worrying about being oversold or underperformed. They know their Audio AND how to install it. I'm going back to make sure I get a dash cam + upgraded amp system. Additional Notes - Came on a recommendation of a knowledgeable friend who installed $3000+ of Kenwood, Focal - I spent $2500+ on a "badass" setup with a mix of JL, Kenwood Analysis and excellent presentation with just a pen and paper

I had looked and shopped at other places and in fact had previously an after market unit installed some place else on another vehicle. No comparison in sales, service, and finished product. At Innovative I was asked every question regarding what my needs were and available choices were thoroughly explained. I went without an appointment and they were able to fit me in same day which was really nice. Wait was not terribly long and well worth it. Installation looks flawless. As close to factory as possible. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the service I received at Innovative. I would highly recommend for car audio needs.

Really Terrible…read more Quality of materials seems good, but install was definitely not. Waited the requested 5 days before using my windows. Passenger window trim was not reinstalled correctly and but a gash in the tint. When calling to get this repaired was told I'd have to wait for an opening in their schedule - you're kidding me. Needed my vehicle to travel to a funeral. Stopped at the shop and one of the guys was able to fix the trim and I would have to return to fix the tint. Again, called for an appointment and had to wait several days. When the tint was replaced, there were air bubbles. They said to wait a week and they would go away. Four months later, they are still there. It is just not worth it to wait on appointment for them to mess up my tinting again. Lousy customer service, lousy install, never, ever will use them again.

I've had 5 cars tinted and each was also perfect. Never had an issue. My current car had a horn I didn't like. AJ walked me through multiple options listening to each. A few months later it started sounding wrong. AJ stood behind his work -no questions asked, and replaced it. Yesterday I had front & rear security cameras installed.
