Great lunch buffet where you choose three items and rice or noodles. Get the dumplings they are the best.

New Yorker here. First thing to know is that my mother (Brooklyn native) and I had an unbelievably,…read morealmost comically terrible Chinese dinner from Nim's Garden (which is also in Milton). I guess I should have known we were in trouble there, since there doesn't seem to be anyone of Chinese origin that works there. The egg drop soup was clear, gelatinous, and bland, the chow mein ... didn't look or taste like chow mein, and my shrimp & veg dish in white sauce was bland. We needed revenge, so we tried China Fun. Mums dispatched me to pick up an order of egg drop soup first, so I could bring it home for a taste test. If it passed, we'd order entrees, and I'd go back. It passed! It was the right color (yellow), and it actually smelled and tasted of eggs! We decided to commit and order dinner -- Fried Shrimp appetizer, Orange Chicken Combo, and Hunan Triple Crown. The fried shrimp was good, and I enjoyed the Human Triple Crown, although the "lobster" looked more like a fat crab stick. I'll let it pass. The sauce was good and the dish was flavorful. The shrimp and scallops were fine, and there was enough mixed vegetables to balance it all out. Mums enjoyed her orange chicken. The egg roll with her combo was a little lackluster -- thin and small -- but the interior was far superior to Nim's, which had been an unappetizing grey colored mess of cabbage. We're not going to try to compare China Fun to the best Chinese restaurants on the planet. But for Milton, it's pretty darned good. My mother likes that it is family owned, and we appreciate the friendly staff, and authentic food. I have read reviews here that say that China Fun is misleading people by saying it is "dine in". They're not misleading you; there are nice, tablecloth covered tables and chairs inside. But it isn't a *restaurant*. You go up to the counter and put in your order (or call it in), and from there, you can take it to a table if you like, or go elsewhere. I love these kinds of places! I'll post pictures of the take-out menu (current as of June 2024).

And the total bill was pretty cheap. On to the food: The Beef and Broccoli was hot and flavorful. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was good but I had to heat it up in the microwave. There were no peppers and pineapple chunks. That is big for me. The fried rice was bland and the pork was tiny and barely there. And I judge fried rice on color. It should be brown. This was yellow. The Wonton Soup was bland even adding soy sauce didn't help much. Speaking of sauces; they provided plenty of Sweet and Sour and the rest of the condiments were abundant. The boneless spare ribs were definitely flavorful but tiny strips were a turnoff for me. The Crab Rangoon was good. Hard to mess that up. As was the Fried Wonton with meat filling and Fried Chicken Wings. Finally the egg rolls were ehhh. I really struggled giving them only 3 stars, but it came down to the little things which I'm quirky about in judging good Chinese food. This is a small town with a few other places to try out. So only time will tell if this is the best Milton has to offer

I've been meaning to try this place since it opened and decided to check it out for my birthday…read moredinner this year. Four of us went and we all enjoyed it. Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.
