This place has gone down hill. They take your car and then say they can't work on a 06 bmw , replace rear shocks. Took two weeks waiting on the appt. They know my car they worked on it for years. Matter of fact, they did the front struts, and tie rods all around. These so called techs, (Jesse) they gotta go by what the parts wholesaler recommends. According to Nathan the guy in charge. Ever since Mark Wigley retired, that place has gone to . Jesse installed the wrong coils on this car last year, and didn't want to admit his wrong. I ended up taking the vehicle to Baltimore Beamer. They provided me with the wrong coils, which I presented to Nathan and he did reimburse me for them. I you can't work on a certain vehicle, don't work on it at all !!! I also understand they have a problem obtaining right parts ? What the hell does that even mean ?Terrible. I have spent thousands of dollars here throughout the years. It's been 2 month since I had my tires installed from this shop. From the past I never had an issue until this last work they did. Beware! Whoever the technician that did my tires was totally careless on placing and removing the weights as he scratched and destroyed the paint on my 22 inch BMW alloy rims. The manager reimbursed me back the cost of the installation and also offered to fix the rim but they need to keep the vehicle for more than a day which during the time I cannot manage since its my only commute. The cost of getting my rims refinished is eight times over what I paid for the installation. This is just a big regret on my part but also a big neglect on the shops part (at least on the tech that did my wheels.) Just disappointing. read more

Just picked up my Lexus SC430. They did my timing belt and water pump. My estimate was fair after getting 6 estimates. I went with them because they have been in the neighborhood and have many years of experience. The got my car done in one day as promised. I've used them before and will continue to use them as needed. If you decide to use them, guarantee you will not be disappointed. But hidden inside a tiny residential community is a true gem, New Life Automotive. It's a small shop, in a small area, but they do big things, and excellent service. Long story short: due to poor communication skills I was misquoted. Then the work wasnt done properly the first time. They were very defensive and did not find it a priority to make right by their mistake. And when it is all said and done still felt the need to charge me full price for a service that wasn't done correctly the first time and resulted in me going to the shop multiple times disrupting the work schedule of myself and my ride. Mark and Nate did it again!! I needed to have a blinker light replaced, a slow leak in my tire looked at, and an oil change. They let me know a few other things that were wrong with my car but said it wasn't imperative to fix at the moment and wanted to give me a heads up that eventually down the line it would have to. This place is so great and never pushy. They always fully explain everything and answer all questions. So glad I found an honest and very reasonably cost automechanic. These guys are great! Not only do they have very good pricing, but they are very honest and treat your car like they would their own.
